My life changed for the better in 2023 when I discovered Pearly Brow and it's owner, Ani, in La Canada. Ani is a master at threading, shaping and eliminating unwanted facial hair and so much more. Ani's demeanor is calm and professional; she has transformed my aging face to make it smile. The immaculate salon is an oasis of pale pink textures and positive affirmations. Grateful for Pearly Brow!! read more

Very disappointing experience. I came in because the salon advertises that it accepts walk-ins, but I was turned away and told to call and come back instead. I was told they were "very busy," even though I only saw one client being worked on at the time. If you don't actually accommodate walk-ins, don't advertise that you do. I was genuinely looking forward to trying this salon because the work looked amazing, but the experience was a complete waste of my time. I won't be returning. The lady on the chair seemed content she chirped "she's good" . Too bad I will never know! read more

I had a wonderful experience at this eyebrow threading place! I was able to easily make an appointment via calling in advance. We started by talking about my preferences for my brows. In turn, I got a thoughtful, long term plan about keeping my brows full and working towards symmetry. The eyebrow artist was kind throughout the session. I left feeling like my brows looked nice and clean, and I really appreciated the attention to detail. Price was less than $20. read more

Ani is the best! I used to drive over 40 mins, because I couldn't give up my last eyebrow lady. However, I now discovered here. She's so careful and gives me the heads up on what she plans to do to my brows, especially when it came to how I wanted it shaped. I told her my eyebrows have been messed up before, but she reassured me we will have it fixed :) I suggest booking an appointment as she can get busy and can take a few minutes because she is CAREFUL and pays attention to detail. The pricing is higher than most places, but HEY, you pay for quality. I used go to a $10 place, but I quickly realized the difference in quality and care. read more

Super friendly and helpful lady. I love My eyebrows. I will try tinting them next time I come back! She so sweet too! read more

Alina is THE BEST ! She takes pride in her work and is amazing at giving you the most beautiful brows. Excited to go back

I've been coming here for a couple of years now. On busy days she always tries her best to squeeze you even if you don't have an appointment. It's always best to call ahead because lately she's been booked! She's the only one that I trust with my eyebrows as she's very detailed oriented. read more

The service is good but this place is full of mosquitoes. I get bitten every time I'm here . I don't know why so much mosquitoes. I saw they have a lot of wilted live plants or the place is not well kept . Hope they get rid of live plants or exterminate . I won't go back to this place until they address the mosquito situation . I hope this business fixes this problem . I got bitten in 4 areas of my body . They need to clean this place or exterminate for bugs read more

Absolutely incredible service here - I'm ALWAYS getting complimented on my eyebrows when I get them done here.

Five stars for Ani! I have been coming to her for three years now, and she is absolutely amazing at what she does. She is incredibly sweet and really takes the time to figure out exactly what eyebrow shape looks best for your face. My skin is super sensitive, but with Ani, I never get any rashing or irritation. On top of her being great at her job, the salon and the restrooms are always spotlessly clean. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great eyebrow specialist. read more

I've been coming to this place since they opened. Ani (owner) ALWAYS managed to squeeze me in last minute. I have difficult uneven brows and they have never looked so good. She takes her time to listen and accommodates you. The salon is spotless. read more

My second time coming and very dissapointed. they took out a huge piece of my eyebrow leaving my eyebrows uneven and way thinner. Also trimmed way too short even when asked to leave it thick. Please save your time and don't come here. read more

I had walked in as a walk-in 10 days ago. The person who left a 1 star review mention she was rude but actually I was that person who was there getting her eyebrows done at 6:15pm. I heard the whole conversation as well. The client 6:15 appointment kept saying she was 4 minutes late. But if she let Ani speak, I wouldn't have minded to take a break for her to get her eyebrows done while I wait but she got frustrated and left. I personally thought Ani was patient and it's not easy to run a business, let alone during that timeframe, working on her own. read more

Annie was wonderful, my eyebrows look AMAZING and my appointment was right on time, I even got to work early. Love my eyebrows! Thank you Annie Best place for eyebrows! read more

Best brow place I've tried in 10 years! I've been trying various brow places since high school, from shops in Alhambra, Pasadena, Eagle Rock, etc., this is the place to go! I've been going to Ani for about a year or so now. Her work is always amazing--never hurts and my brows always look perfect. She recently opened her own threading shop! I will follow her until she stops doing brows!! Pearly Brow Threading is located in a good location of La Canada--next to various shops. It's located in a plaza and parking is free and easy. I always feel very welcome with Ani, she is always so nice and we have great conversations. Her method of threading is different than what most people are used too--it hurts less! Support this small business and get perfect eyebrows! read more

I've been coming to Ani, the owner, for 2 years now. I regularly get my eyebrows shaped. She's such a sweet person and great at her job. She's fast and tries to fit you in even when she's super busy. The best eyebrow threading and eyelash lift in the Glendale/ la crescenta / Pasadena area! Ani does such great work every time. My brows and lashes have never looked this good! read more

Ani is AWESOME at what she does! Been going to her for a long time and it's always perfect. Love the way she does my eyebrows.

Ruined my hairline. I came in for a hairline thread and I even sectioned off which baby hairs to thread off with a headband so my actual hairline hairs wouldn't be plucked out. She threaded BEHIND the headband. Not only did she leave baby hairs, but she took off the hairline pieces. Going to take years to fix, don't recommend. read more

Very rude as soon as I walked in. Made an appointment at 6:15pm. Walked in at 6:19 she was still working on someone and told me I have another client coming in at 6:30pm and I have to take her in. She was not even ready for my service how can you say that??!! Very unprofessional. read more

Walked in at 3pm on a Saturday. No line, so Lynette was able to do my brows right away! She started with scissors, cutting down long eyebrows, followed by really gentle threading, more scissors and finished off with tweezers. Kinda cool how much attention to details she had. My eyebrows came out really clean and still natural, which is exactly what I was going for. 10 minutes later, I'm all done and paid! The place was super clean and serene. Not loud at all and has a really welcoming vibe. Will definitely come back! Thanks! read more

Ani and her team are extremely professional and prompt with their responses. I enjoy going to Ani and Linet, they always brighten up my day. When you enter the salon, everyone greets you and makes it feel like you're at home. I'm so glad I have found Ani and her team. Ani has the touch of an angel. Her work is so precise, calm, and graceful. I had my brows done here and the service was high quality. The ambiance is gorgeous. Everything is fresh and clean. I recently moved to the Pasadena area and began searching to a threading location. Pearly Brow Threading popped up and it wasn't too far. I have smaller brows but I like to keep them clean. Ani was very nice, let me know what she was thinking, made sure I was okay with it and began doing her thing. I appreciated that she took her time and did a great job. read more

We have tried so many brow threading locations around the Burbank/Glendale/Eagle Rock/SGV area and this location is by far the BEST! Most places tread your brows so fast that the next day you notice small nicks all over your skin, but not here! They took their time and were very gentle. They made my teenage daughter feel at ease with the whole process. These ladies were amazing, we will be back again soon! read more
