This front desk lady totally ruined my experience at pearle vision! As soon as i walk in she's already yelling "how can i help you?" Across the room and with attitude as well! She gave us a look and When me and my family finally walked walked up to the desk, we say "we have an appointment" and shes asking what insurance we have and you can tell shes very impatient! I have a previous review of this place that was 5 stars but as soon as you make a person think all things fall apart. This wasn't even that complicated. First I waited 20 mins on the phone... Didn't know PV was popping like that 10:00 am on a Wednesday. BUT in their defense, they said they would call me back in the beginning but I am Overseas at the moment. Then this happened; Me - Miss, I am stationed in Afghanistan can you reorder a pair of glasses I ordered before and send them to me. It's an APO address so it is addressed just like you were sending it to a United States Address? CS Rep - Umm, I have to ask my manager * 5-minute wait* Sir whats the address Me - *Gave address and talked about prices* CS Rep - *put me on hold again, another 4 minutes go by* Sir, we tried to get ahold of our main manager to see if we can deliver here can we call you back with an answer? Me - thinking to myself WTF So I just gave up and said don't worry about it. I went to the pro vision center on North rainbow and when I tell you, I would never go there again in my life. I had my eye exam. They didn't even ask me what brand of contacts I wanted they just assume that I wanted their brand of contacts I'm so used to going to one eye doctor, and this was the first time I used them that I was under depression that I was getting the the same I always get that was my fault but you could've offered something else to me a choice but they just assumed and then they told me that I had to have a torque lens that very month I went and had my eyes checked again and it turned out I didn't even so all they did was get more money out of me and when I went back to tell him that these contacts aren't good for fit for my eyes they told me those are the ones I ordered those weren't the ones I ordered were never there again read more

Mood - glasses At first we walked in and was instructed to come back in a few days on Monday for a set appointment. This was due to insurance. Was told they would verify everything over the next 2 days. Monday comes, we arrive at the appointment as scheduled. This is where it goes downhill. My son was told they called him to state they couldn't get ahold of his vision insurance. The lady proceeded to tell my son they called 3x to let him know. My son being my son - shows them his phone, no calls from them. He then calls his VM puts his phone on speaker so she can hear, still no calls from them. At this point the lady states he can come back in March for an eye appointment. Because they were not able to get ahold of the insurance company. The appointment was declined of course. I really don't like giving bad reviews, however this was a blatant lack of responsibility & accountability on their part regarding a phone call to cancel this appointment. I recently went to Pearle Vision at 230 N. Nellis Blvd. Suite B And Gabriel helped me. On June 21, 2021 I went for an eye exam and to get my eye care needs taken care of. I will say, every one there is friendly, professional and prompt. I had a great experience there, from walking in the door to leaving. The last one to help me though was, Gabriel. If I could give him more than a 5 star rating, I would. He was very patient, and took out the time to address what I needed. I didn't feel rushed at all. He was very accommodating and went above and beyond to try and help me, and I left there very satisfied. I love Pearle Vision and will continue to go there. read more

I went in with zero expectations, but the process was so easy and efficient I had to write a review. Even though I was a walk-in, I suggest making a reservation because they get VERY busy. I was greeted by friendly reception and then moved into the eye exam. There was a wait time of about 10-15 minutes. The person who did the exam was courteous and thorough. I wished I would've gotten her name. She explained each assessment clearly. They do a cool eye photo assessment and a hand assessment that reads your cellular health. It was finally time to meet Dr. Lemus, again friendly, kind, and courteous. We discussed my eye health, my vision concerns, and what I hoped the get from the visit. Then the fun part... choosing frames! I love wearing glasses and this is by far my favorite part. I must've tried on 15+ pairs. I'm very particular and have a certain aesthetic, but Rana patiently brought over pair after pair. She knew I was searching for the perfect pair. I picked up my new frames about 11 days later. Rana helped me get the perfect fit. I think I'm adjusting to my progressive/ transitions nicely. I already have my appointment booked for next year. Thank you Pearle Vision for helping me. read more

I like Pearl Vision due to locations. I like most of the Dr's I've met especially Dr Duran. Wish I could remember these 2 other ladies as well, but they are all great communicators.... Now the staff that could differ from location. My first time I had communication problems was at Flamingo with men . I had a1:40 appt, there was 3 workers just walking another 2 at the service desk. 2pm came so I had to say something. All I said was my appt was at 1: 40 and it's 2pm. What a complete joke this place is. My girlfriend and I came here to buy glasses a year and a half ago. I ended up not getting glasses because my eyes weren't that bad and their glasses, even the cheap ones with insurance were very expensive. My girlfriend paid $800 for new Dolce Gabana prescription glasses. They broke last week and we came back to get them repaired. They said they were only covered for a year and because the way it broke they couldn't repair them. ARE YOU INSANE? $800 and you f%$#%&* idiot's can't fix it? I'm absolutely disgusted. She was helping other staff as well as greeting customers and helping customers in the eye glass selection process. I've been going to this location for 3 years now. Although my experiences there have never been that great to start with, it's one of the few locations my insurance allows me to go. However today my wife and I had one of the worst experiences EVER! From the minute we arrived just to purchase glasses for us both, we were followed and watched closely. Before we could look around they asked if we had an appointment and for my insurance information which I provided and gave them my card. The young woman found my information in the computer but said she was having trouble finding my insurance information and said to look around while she checked with someone. While looking around an older white man, who didn't even apear to work there based on how he was dressed, approached me and asked if we would be getting an exam today. I told him not today and my wife and I were just going to get glasses with our current and although nearly but not yet expired prescriptions from them from last year at this same time I then continued to look and try on frames along with my wife but felt very uncomfortable. I told my wife if it weren't for the fact our prescriptions expired tomorrow I'd leave. Thats when a large african american man got right up to my wife and said she was going to have to remove the glasses she took from her pocket. We were both in shock and my wife immediately put down the glasses she had in her hands and said what are you talking about and turned to me and said let's go. That's when a woman behind the counter yelled, not those glasses, the other ones you put in your picket. At this point I admit my and my wife's reaction may not have been the most appropriate. There were several other customers there, including some children. But needless to say we both lost our cool a little. But for good reason. Some profanity was used that neither of us are proud of. Only because of the children. Not the so called other adults who deserved every bit of our angry reaction. My wife produced one of two pair of glasses she had on her when we arrived, that were nearly 20 years old, with the other sunglasses still on her head. They continued to accuse her of taking another pair. We were basically surrounded by employees and the security guard and felt very threatened. I demanded my I. D. back as they were asking us to leave for becoming so angry at the accusation. Again I'm not proud for losing my cool a bit but my wife and I are both veterans - my wife has to use a cane I might add- and know one deserves to be treated this way. I don't know which employee thought they saw what they didn't see. Probably because they made up there mind about us the minute we walked in. As I said we immediately felt uncomfortable when we walked in and were watched and followed all around the entire time. But that employee should be fired. I hope there is - and I'd be surprised if there wasn't - security footage. I hope they reviewe it and are able to sleep at night for treating people this way. Both our prescriptions expire tomorrow and as a result we are left with no glasses. We were both so upset we certainly were not going to another location across town today or ever for that matter. And although I can get a new pair in a few weeks with my new insurance, that's hardly the point. We were cheated out of a new pair of glasses, of which I was going to pay out of pocket for a good part of. The sales person was cheated out of a commission as well as the store. And the only thieves are these employees who essentially stole a pair of glasses from two vetrrans. Fortunately my new insurance allows me to go elsewhere. But even if it didn't I would never go, or recommend this Pearl location if you paid me. Hopefully other locations have better personnel. But I would stay away from this location based on our experiences the last three years. But this one was just too much. read more

So far the two times I have gone to this location for my daughters glasses and contacts we've had an amazing experience. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The doctor is great as well. I came to this location 30 mins ago and my visit was awesome . The girl that helped me was great she had a bubbly personality and offered me water . What stood out the most was she said I hope I made your visit painless and to me she cared about my services .. the small talk was great and to have my glasses ready in 30 mins is a big plus she even carries my glasses out to me as I waited for them . My experience at this location is bittersweet. The optometrist are very friend HOWEVER, I have some complaints about one particular staff member. This is my third year at this location and I've never had any problems but today I was "helped" by Gabrielle or Gabriel whatever her name is was not helpful in the slightest. She didn't seem interested in helping me at all. I needed to pick a frame for my glasses and all she did was sit in her computer and engage in any conversation. She didn't make suggestions, ask any questions, ANYTHING! She just sat there and stared at her computer. I wrote a negative review for Pearl Vision a couple of years ago and did not plan on returning. Thursday 12.5.19, I decided to try again. I attempted to order contacts. They were biofinity multifolcal's, I wasn't sure what the price was and provided my insurance. The rep told me for a box of contacts it would be $97 even with insurance. I went to LensCrafters and with insurance they were free. Either Pearl was forcing me to buy an extra box or they weren't going to use my insurance at all.
