Absolute best experience with Eyeglass World today. We needed to get my daughter's glasses turned around quickly. Every optometry store: Costco, Target, Optic Gallery told me the turn around is 9-10 business days to send frames to lab and get new lens. Costco recommended that I go visit Eyeglass World. Ana took my call (no redirect, to redirect to get to a real person). They set expectations on whether or not they can help. I went in wearing a 5 year back up pair of glasses, because I had broken the frames on my current pair. Two of the staff, one of which seemed to be a manager, scoured the store to find a frame that would match. The found one that was close and modified my lenses to fit. I bought 2 pairs of glasses for my son cash. I then put his 6 month supply of contacts on my insurance. I came to pick up contacts and was told they were mailed to me. I asked when and date they told me was 2 works before they called me to say they were in store waiting for pickup. They couldn't find them. A woman came out front and she actually found them. I asked if they were the 6 month supply my insurance paid for and was told no. It is only 3 months but you can stretch them out possibly. The woman who found them clearly saw something on the paperwork showing 6 months and the 2 guys said no it's 3 months. I said why would you tell me it's 6 months when I purchase them. Then say you don't have them and they were mailed, then say they are 3 months. I said you gotta tell people what it is correctly when we pay and he just said ok. Scammers read more

Went in because my glasses were broken; a screw came out which just needed to be rescrewed in. The help their replaced the screw and tightened the other side and cleaned them within 10 minutes. Not from Nevada but definitely will be coming back based solely for the customer service. read more

Good customer service! You just have to be patient because it gets very busy in the store at times, especially late afternoon. You can have your optometrist fax your prescription to the store and they'll take it from there. Good prices on frames and lenses. A young woman named Ana went above and beyond the call of duty to help me select glass frames and facilitate the transaction with a very pleasant demeanor. I was asking her to pick out the frames both for regular and sun glasses. She selected fashionable cost effective ones and she seemed to genuinely care that I liked. The doctor was nice enough but, the staff is beyond unprofessional. First of all, I called and gave them my new Eye Health Care from work, I made an appointment, told them that it was a contact lens appointment, and they said it would only be $10. When I got there, they charged me $50 and when I said, you said $10 on the phone, all they said was, well, that was probably someone new you talked to and still charged me $50. To top it all off, I asked for trial lenses and they gave me the brand that I don't normally use which was terrible. They said they didn't have my brand in stock. I have dry eyes and these lenses literally hurt. I called them back to see if they had anything even remotely close to what I usually wear and they said, nope. Now I'm stuck with my last pair of lenses until mine come in the mail because, I'm certainly not ordering from them. Completely unprofessional! read more

So I have the light titanium glasses that you can fold, bend and sit on and it pops back into shape since it's flexible and durable. Unfortunately my fat ass declares itself second to none and promptly cracks and warps my glasses into a pretzel. In a panicked state, I come here and meet Ed. Very nice personable man who mentioned he used to live in New York too. He spends 20 minutes fixing my glasses and aligning it back into shape. I tried to pay him, but he declined. The person who answered the phone was rude and unhelpful. Even if I did ask a "stupid" question, giving an attitude is not customer friendly response. Maybe she was having a bad day, I don't know, but my experience was unpleasant. All I wanted was to get new lenses for glasses my husband has and she told me that no one would provide service without measurements (what for if there is no intent to buy a new pair?!), which was not accurate. read more

Got a bad prescription. The doctor rushed me through the eye exam apparently assuming he knew what needed to be done. Early red flag was he started explaining to me that "at your age" yada yada. I've gone back multiple times for frame adjustments to try and adjust the bowl-like vision of the prescription they gave me. It has slightly helped but my vision with the prescription they gave me still isn't as good as the previous glasses I had from over ten years ago that broke. The representatives also have repeatedly tried to blame my age for it when I have explained to them that I see better with my older glasses. $500 for nothing. read more

Went here for an eye check up and they did a thorough inspection of my eyes and the process quick, the optometrist was nice as well. My lenses were a total of $150 for single vision with standard quality so it well have a smaller section on the lense i can use for reading. I brought my own frames in and have no vision insurance so the price for the simple lenses were out of pocket, plus the eye exam was $130 which included eye drops to inspect my overall eye health read more

I've been getting glasses for 40 years and I've never had a worse experience than this one. First they gave me a prescription for a stigmatism in my left eye. Every dr I've ever had has decided to leave it be. When I asked them not to they ignored me. When my glasses came in I complained that they made me dizzy and gave me a headache. I returned them 25 days later and was told I would need a new eye exam for $35 .... The whole ordeal was just the most horrible experience of my 40 years of getting t eyeglasses. It's not about the $$$ their prices seem really fair. Also they often ignore you if you don't make yourself known. Immediately after my first exam I was waiting 30 minutes and nobody asked if I was interested in purchasing so I left with intention to use prescription elsewhere. Just the most horrible experience I've had spanning over three months. Usually I'm in and out never an issue at these places. Frustrating. read more

Fast service! I had set my glasses down and accidentally leaned on it breaking the frames. This was during our overnight trip to Utah.. then when we got back to Vegas we found an Eyeglass World by chance... we happened to be at the wrong location while looking for a Hawaiian restaurant which was actually on Durango Drive. After having lunch we came back to this location and I was assisted by Ed. This tall 6-foot man came over to help me. He was able to find the same frames I originally had purchased back home in Roseville and lucky for me they had them in stock. They still offered the 2 for $78 frames sale so he just popped in the old lenses on one of my new frames and yay! I can read stuff on my phone again! The whole transaction and replacement frames took less than 30 mins to complete. As a walk-in customer with no appointment scheduled I was impressed with the service. I referenced Ed's height because he said he was half Filipino... I said "no way" (plus he didn't look anything half Asian) then he started to tell us how he got his name and where his Filipino parent came from in the Philippines.
