I was immediately greeted and asked if I needed help. The person who helped me was friendly, quick and efficient. I honestly wasn't expecting my glasses to be saved (honestly ready to throw them in the trash), especially since I bought them in Japan. I've had a great experience here before and this is the reason I've returned to make two new purchase of prescription eye glasses. Unfortunately today I left unsatisfied with the service I've received as I couldn't purchase new lenses for my prescription Versace eyeglass I've originally made purchase from due to the warranty being expired 2 months ago. The only offer the sells representative presented to me was 50%off on prepaid merchandises and stated it would only be available for pickup after they've received a new prescription form from my ophthalmologist. What do you do with your sunglasses when the lens cracks and you already have too many pairs and you now want a pair of prescription sunglasses? That's right, take em to LensCrafters!! Other places make you buy new frames and make you start from scratch. I asked around and found out that LensCrafters will take your old frame, if it's in good condition and put in prescription lenses. Sold!! Everyone was nice and friendly. I asked if they could adjust another pair of sunglasses I had that went wonky, and they did. I already used my benefits so they just gave me a discount. read more

My experience was just ok. They certainly have a lot of frames but not enough that are covered within the insurance allowance. The frame I did order was so uncomfortable, even after adjustments, so I was appreciative to have it returned and refunded. Service was just ok as well. I came to this location last year and although my experience was not top tier and I felt forced to do parts of the exam I did not want to do, I decided to try to give them another chance since the actual doctor was kind. However, now it is time for me to get a new exam so I called to discuss the cost ahead of time so that I am not surprised when I go in and when it is time to pay. I spoke with Stephanie, who was very condescending. I was specifically asking about rates so that I am knowing 100% what I am paying for and she decided to make the comment of "You cannot cut corners", which was absolutely not the case at all. Due to her lack of telephone etiquette, I will take my business elsewhere. There are way too many cons that out way the pros of why I should give this location/doctor's office anymore of my business. Location: This office is located in the Boca Park plaza with a shared lot with other businesses. There are still plenty of parking spaces. Customer Service: Terrible. Stephanie should be working in an area that does not require her to have to speak with customers. The eye techs will also force you to do parts of the exam that you don't want to do. Overall: Overall, it is not worth my time, money, or energy to continue going to this Lenscrafters. There are plenty of other doctor's offices around that provide much better customer service. Offered Free Repairs as a Bait and switch sales tactic My guest that was visiting me from out of town damaged his glasses while at my home. Being a gracious host I searched for a place that repairs glasses near by. Lens Crafters popped up as being close by and had an add for free repair on glasses. We called to confirm this offer was still valid and the guy said "Sure we can fix them for free bring them on in" We drove over immediatley and were greeted at the door. The guy took the glasses and barley looked at them and said thy weren't repairable and that he should just get new frames and then tries to guide him over to the frames for sale. I then mentioned that maybe he should actually take more than 2 seconds to look at them before deciding they were beyond repair. That we were offered a repair over the phone, maybe he could ask someone else to take a look. He then takes them in the back an comes out with them saying "all fixed" there was about 2 feet of scotch tape wrapped around them holding the arm on. WHAT A JOKE. We ended up finding an add for glasses repair on facebook. We called the guy up he came to us and only charged us $5.00 and it took him about 3 mins to fix. Lens Crafters just uses the free repair as a ruse to get you down there to sell you overpriced frames. DISHONEST read more

I can't say enough about this place. I have struggled for years to get the right prescription and end up not wearing my glasses because it's too strong. The doctor here Paul Chen, is so kind and made sure that I was gonna leave there with what felt comfortable on me. The optician who helped me select my glasses was great as well. So kind and made sure to explain all the details of my insurance. I paid much less than I have at previous eye doctors and can't wait to pick up my glasses. Happy customer here! read more

Enough time has passed for me to post this review. Sometime last year i went in to get sunglasses. I'd wait & wait to not get this certain employee. She's a Mexican girl. Has a huge Attitude. "Fixed" my glasses the first time & then smashed them & returned them to me upon fitting. I was so annoyed with this interaction. She took My glasses to the back to "repair" them & was back there w another girl pointing & laughing at me???? I wasn't sure why. I took my glasses & they were all bent out of shape. I dont trust them. Catty bitches. I went to another location & they told me that this location cracked my lenses (which i couldn't see until they showed me along the frame line((which would get worse & crack in my eye l0l ))) So they said they were ruined & ordered me a new pair since this girl at this location destroyed my glasses. I've complained to them before. The manager is a joke. Dont come here. I'm so much happier at the Saint rose Location. Please dont trust the Mexican girl here. She's maybe 5'3-'5'4? She has dark hair & a weird attitude about everything. You'll pick up the vibes when you talk to her so pls avoid it at all costs. read more

Nothing but a good experience from start to finish. Went for my exam back in November but had to wait for the new year in order to get new glasses due to insurance. All that staff is friendly, my doctor was awesome, forgot his name currently, sorry. Easy check in process, short wait time technicians were great. Getting my glasses was an easy process, rhe girl told me how much my insurance would cover and thrn went over the recommended lens additions with me. Great selection of glasses in my opinion and that are reasonable because my coverage only went to 180 but still a great variety, found a pair I like and actually stay up on my face. she said it would take 7 to 14 days but I got a call in like 4 days that they were ready. The gentleman who got was there during pick up was very kind and made sure they fit properly before a left and told me I could come in anytime to have them adjusted/tightened. Sadly, I have only been here once, and the experience was awful. My husband and I went in last Saturday to pick his prescription glasses. Upon opening the glasses, the order was found to be wrong. Confused, we asked how the return process works and how to go about fixing the glasses' prescription. The lady that helped us (dark hair, maybe Hispanic, not sure) said that there was nothing she could do because she insisted that my husband input his prescription wrong. Because my husband needed his glasses urgently, we asked if there is anything they could do, hoping for a more solutions-based approach, rather than negative and presumptive. She kept repeating herself "because you input the wrong prescription during the order, there is nothing we can do." My husband if he could buy glasses from the store and she replied, "yes, but you will be paying $300" (again, super negative and presumptive, less solution-based attitude). My husband called in the issue, and it was a problem on the manufacturer's end. Thankfully, the person over the phone was way more helpful and was focused on getting my husband the right prescription for his eyes, which he urgently needed. I won't recommend this place for your optometry needs. If you're looking for a more personalized approach, kind and positive connection, it doesn't like this is the place that will offer that to you. They were a different brand than the box I showed them when I ordered, but they are my prescription and work as intended. Booked an appointment online and got all the confirmation texts and emails. Apparently that doesn't matter because their online service doesn't actually book you an appointment. When I told the receptionist I was there for an appointment I booked online, she did a little laugh, like it was the funniest thing, and informed me of the online service not working. Why still have the option online if you know it does not work, why not take it off? Loved that I drive there and wasted my time for an appointment that didn't even exist. read more

Lens Crafters website advertises a Gucci frame that they carry on their site and in stores for $195. Their website says the frames were discontinued and on sale. Boca Park location had them in stock and priced $405 which is the regular price. We asked if we could get the frame as advertised on the Lens Crafters website for $195. They told us they would not honor their own website price. Why are you selling them at full price even though their own website says they are being discontinued and on sale for $195. Same frame and SKU. That is called bait and switch and doesn't make any sense at all. read more

So let's see driving around in Boca Park and we spot this location...fully not having any expectations turns out to be one of the best experiences of my life. We walk in talking to a gentleman named John who promptly priced out a great pair of Ray-Ban Frames, lenses, and some added additions...with no extra sales pitches or anything. I got the eye exam without an appointment went back to talk to John when I was done and he promised to have my glasses done by that evening...WOW!!!! Now if all of that sounds simple...well it really was. I mean the Customer Service, the eye doctor, the no pressure shopping or vision upgrade experience, and the value of the glasses I purchased were TOP NOTCH people. I know there are a lot of LensCrafters to choose from but if you are in the Spring Valley or Boca Park area of Nevada this should be the ONLY location you visit. I needed to go for a yearly exam for mom and have been here myself before. The people are really friendly and seem to care. The selection of frames is great and they have designer brands too.
