Out of all the pearle visions ive been to, this is by far the best location. Their store manager kris and the doctor that saw both my son and i, i believe her name is kara, were both exceptionally great! The doctor explained everything to me and my son very well. She even made my son feel confident about his astigmatism by reinforcing that being different isnt bad at all. When we got out of the appointment, the manager kris had already picked out glasses for my son just from the small conversation we had before being seen. He believed my son would have like it and he guessed right! My son loved those frames the most. He also helped answer any of my questions i had being new to the optical industry. Its worth the wait to talk to him imo, hes very informative about everything and very kind! It sucks that this location is getting low ratings due to issues out of their hand, like the call center and/or a long wait time. The times ive been there, it was only kara working and because shes very informative and thorough, im not surprised if her patients are asking her all kinds of questions...making the wait time even longer. However, i cant vouche for the other employees....every time i go i only make sure to talk to the ones i trust and that is kris and kara. read more

I filled my paperwork online well in advance on my visit however, when I got there, I was asked to fill out the paperwork again. From the online forms, it is evident that certain additional exams for your retina or other things are completely optional, and you don't have to undergo those exams. However, the lady at the front desk put them down as part of the visit which brought my co-pay from 10 to over 50 for the same visit. When I asked her why she selected those services she said that they're part of the eye exam for wellness. I said OK but are they mandatory? To which again she responded they are part of the wellness of the eye exams. So I asked again. And she said "no." Because I'd already filled out the paperwork online I knew that I could opt out of it. So after second thought, I decided to not give these people my business because it was a deceptive technique to add services to my visit without my consent and just trying to nonchalantly make them pass as part of the visit. This is mostly infuriating because of how hard certain people have to work to make those extra 50 bucks. No ethics. read more

Pearle Vision - No customer service hasn't even returned my ID and insurance cards been here now for 30 minutes - Optometrists Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

I'm a long time contact lens wearer and have been getting regular eye exams for over 10 years and this was unlike any experience I've had before. As a new patient I asked twice before my exam what my total cost would be and was clearly told $50 ($40 contact exam + $10 copay). Based on that I proceeded. After the exam I was then told there was an additional $80 charge due to astigmatism which was never verbally explained beforehand despite me confirming pricing multiple times. There was also a heavy push for additional tests and add on charges throughout the visit which made the experience feel more sales driven than patient focused. Combined with the surprise fees it felt like I was being blindsided and then made to feel at fault for not catching every detail in the fine print even after asking directly about cost. While I was discussing the issue with the manager a front desk staff member interjected and said "well she signed the form" even though no one was speaking to her which felt dismissive rather than helpful. The manager did ultimately help resolve the issue which I appreciated but the situation never should have escalated that far. I was also told my frames would be ready the same day and never received a follow up call. Maybe I caught them on a bad day but overall the lack of transparency and how concerns were handled left me uncomfortable. If you do come here make sure to read every single part of every document because verbal explanations did not match what I was ultimately charged and paperwork was later used against me when I questioned it. Made an appointment and took a half day off work to attend. Show up for my appointment and I'm told they can't find my appointment. When they look further into my account they say that the call center representative canceled my appointment because I called in and canceled. Why in the world would I show up to my appointment if I called to cancel it? They tell me I can be fit in, but I'd be waiting at least an hour. Do you want to sit and wait for an hour when you made an appointment already? They have wasted my time and they have wasted my money because I had to take half a day off of work. Completely not dependable. Action should be taken against the call center worker who canceled my appointment for no reason. When I called in to make a complaint to the call center and was transferred to the supervisor she told me that I called in and cancelled 20 minutes after I called to make the appointment. I offered up my phone records to prove that I never called in. Absolutely ridiculous. Time to find a new place for me and my 4 kids. read more

Went in today for a yearly checkup & when being checked out they told me we had a balance from a year ago. When I told them that everything was paid for cash when we went home and they added something else to our balance After we left. How is that even possible to add a fee after the patients leave? Pearle Vision came to the rescue on Sunday (when my normal eyeglass place and so many others are closed). The lens fell out of my glasses before I went shopping. I couldn't find the screw that came out so there could be no attempt to do a repair at home. After shopping, I checked Yelp for opticians and started seeing all the Closed Today notices for the hours of several. I got to Pearle Visions and saw they were open and it was on my way home. I was greetd warmly when I went in. I asked if I could pay them to put ina new screw. They could and I was told there would be no charge. I had a seat while the young man took the glasses into their work room. A few minutes later, he came back with them fixed. There was no charge but he got a tip for this quick work (Pearle Vision, if that's against policy, I really went somewhere else). Thank you for making life so much easier. Location: Rainbow Worst service I have ever been a part of. It takes them more than hour and a half to do an eye exam WITH APPOINTMENT, every other place I have ever been to finishes it in under 15 minutes. I went in to get contacts for my first time, everyone that worked with me was so friendly and helpful! It made this such an easy and informative experience, at the end they sit with you and train you how to put in and remove your contacts until you feel fully comfortable (which I do now after today). Fumble after fumble! Glasses were never ready by promised date. 1st time I checked after due date, was told they'd send an email to the lab & get back to me. Nobody got back to me. Called a 2nd time, employee searched the store and found the lenses, said would send to lab with urgency. 10 days later called again, employee found eyeglasses and said to stop by anytime. I have been going to the Pearle Vision West Sahara location for several years. I will never go back. The manager recommended a certain type of eyeglass along with my contacts. I am getting headaches from them. If I want to get a different lens they will cost more than the entire glasses because i am over the 30 days of the purchase of contacts. Of course I am over the thirty days because I had to try them out. A manager was suppose to call me back but no one has. Never again and back to clear vision. I'm filing a complaint with BBB and Attorney general office. This place is not about eye care! Pearle Vision is strictly about money. They failed to process a simple glasses order, which turned into days worth of bad communication, headaches, and pointless additional trips to their offices. Upper management is no better and will be looking to report to the BBB. After many years of wearing glasses, I have never experienced such poor customer service. My spouse and I each had: 1.Appointments with New Prescriptions, 2. Two new pairs of glasses with Transitions lenses, 3. One new pair of polarized sunglasses...from appointment to glasses received-SIX DAYS. Absolutely AMAZING!!! We have NEVER had service like that-EVER. We were told it could take about a month-two of the three pairs had to be sent off to another lab, etc. SO SO IMPRESSED. The optometrists had state of the art equipment, in addition to the usual. I would give a zero if possible. The staff are not nice and like to talk crap about you in their native language. I have been here before and honestly I don't know why I came back. The Dr was amazing but the rest of the staff need a serious upgrade. They don't call when your glasses or lenses are in and when you go in mysteriously they are there. I purchased the $55 Groupon (includes exam and $150 worth of glasses only- no contacts) and am so pleased with my experience here! I haven't had an eye exam since I was very young and have never needed glasses. I started seeing fuzzy so I tried this place out and am so happy I did! My technician, Brittany was very nice and made me feel comfortable. Dr. Dong Suk was friendly and very professional. It was weird for me to have this eye exam, but he made it a very quick and easy process. I had fun picking out my frames from their large variety. I wish I could remember the name of the lady who helped me with the frames, but she was friendly as well. I was also able to get my frames the following day! So happy with my Pearle Vision experience, and I would recommend anyone to make an appointment here. Was not disappointed at all! Quick and easy! Also... Do not go to the Sahara location. Everyone there is rude including the manager. They could careless about the customer. The Dr. was more worried about going home and it was only 4:15. It's was so slow we were there over 2.5 hours for a simple exam and script. They had no customer service skills. Place was dirty and they moved at a snails pace. We go to the two other locations one on Rainbow or Ramphart and they are always nice pleasant and helpful. We went here just because they had an opening. Never again would rather wait. I would give a 0 star if I could. First time I shopped at the store, I had a terrible experience. I brought my glasses in and purchased a pair of new lenses on 1/10 with the manager Ernest. The following week when I came back to pick up my order, the associate had my old lenses and new lenses but asked if I had the frame. Ernest didn't give back to me the frame last time, and he was arguing with me that he didn't have it. So I asked them to check the cameras, and they realized my frame was at the store and they lost it. Ernest said to me:"Well, looks like it was PROBABLY our mistake." And the attitude he's been talking to me made me feel like I was the one who made the mistake. The whole time no one ever said "sorry for the inconvenience" or showed me that they even care.
