For years I have traveled 30 mins to specifically go to this location because of the staff. Within the last 2 weeks, I've realized that maybe there is someone new working the phones? I've asked twice for an email of my daughters prescription and keep getting told by the same person that "it will be sent later on" and never receive the email. the same employee also refused ordering trial pair of contacts for my daughter because none were in stock. We've been in between brands trying to find what works best for her. Her 3 year old brother flushed her most recent down the toilet and was told that nothing could even be ordered without making ANOTHER appointment.... mind you, I've already paid for this appointment when she had her exam done and per insurance, another isn't covered. Wish I could say that I understand, but my child needs to see. read more

We needed to get glasses right away for our grandson who cannot see without them. His pair was broken. Tina assisted us and she was absolutely awesome! She went out of her way to provide excellent service. We were able to leave the store with a new pair of glasses the same day!!! Now do not think this is the norm. If they have your prescription lens in stock they can do this. We just happened to be lucky and they did have them in stock for what our grandson needs. Thank you Tina!! read more

I started wearing glasses in the summer of 2012. I could not believe the difference glasses made. I liken it from going from standard television to High Definition television. HD is the way to go. :-) My first and only place I have been to is Pearle Vision here in Cleveland, TN. The care and service has always been exceptional. i have to say my first visit went well, but when i got my new glasses about a week later i couldn't see anything at arms reach. i took the glasses back and explained, The staff ordered some new lenses and i paid for them. About two weeks later the lens's came in and i still haven't been able to get them put in my frames ( got them at pearle to) The Office in Cleveland TN closes at 4 i was instructed i had to be there 30 min prior to closing at 4:30 i don't get off work until 4 so that's impossible. So i tried stopping by on Saturday. No lab techs work on Saturday, Now I'm trying to get my and the insurance companies money back but its past 30 days so there are no refunds even tough i have been trying for well over a month. if your script is right i'm sure the experience will be a good one. If not expect trouble, they wont see you the same day after your first visit and if you work then your just out of luck unless you want to use a vacation day or sick leave if your company offers it. The staff is friendly but a nice staff doesn't replace a $400 dollar pair of useless glasses. Update: i finally was able to have the lenses put in my frames at Pearle, and i have to say there near perfect. Pearle says their adding staff so that folks who work the same hours there open can get their glasses in a more timely manor and i hope so. After a took a day off to tie up so loose ends including my glasses i was more than pleased with the result. If they truly have changed their policy, they may have close to a great experience when getting glasses or contacts. My best advise is if you have to have bifocals go for the lenses without lines. After one of their staff explained and i was able to get the new lenses she was right, and it made a world of difference. The staff maybe should explain how things work a little better when buying glasses. Then if people are like me and willing to pay a bit more they would get it right the first time and provide a 5 star service. Good Luck to the staff at Pearle they work hard i'm sure and deserve the credit for doing a great job in the end. Update: After i broke my glasses i went back to Pearle, my frames were not repairable and i have to say i was expecting a mess. But the young women who helped was professional, she went out of her way to help me get new frames and had my lenses installed in just a few minutes. i was very impressed with their service since my first visit. This a group that i can say at least pays attention. I noticed while i was there a nice selection of Oakley frames and lenses having had some of these in the past I'm looking forward to having some in the future. If you enjoy the outdoors Oakley is by far the best pair of glasses i have ever had. Go check them out you won't be sorry. read more

Ok to start out with I needed an eye exam. I called several people for an exam and couldn't get in. When I called pearl vision they got me in the next day. When I first arrived they were very friendly and greeted me. Aaron did my exam then sent me over to another doctor for a review. I then went to order my glasses that's when I decided that this is where I will come to from now on. From the exam to ordering glasses this was a great experience. Aaron was great to talk to and very knowledgable. He is a master optometrist and it shows. When I ordered my glasses I told them I was going on vacation Friday of the next week. I called Wednesday and Thursday and they weren't in yet. Then on Friday as I was pulling out they called and had my glasses(I thought). My glasses did come in so they made me some that was a little off but good enough I could see. They said we promised and they did. When I get back home they have my other glasses so to say I am impressed is an under statement. This place is the best!!! read more

This store was fabulous. I called this morning hoping to get an appt in the next couple days. The booked me for next day and I asked if I could be called if any cancelations. They called within an hour and worked me in. The DO was fantastic. He took time to explain findings from the exam, went over health history and overall health of my eyes currently. He also told me ways I could maintain my vision in the years to come. He was amazing. The staff were all very humble. They were busy but smiled and were very attentive. I had gone to Hamilton Place store two years ago and they were so rude and would not fix glasses I paid hundreds of dollars for. Hamilton place always told me they were too busy when I went back. The Cleveland location is totally worth driving an extra 15 min to get to. The service was amazing and I will be referring anyone who may be looking for a new optical store and physician.
