When my wife went for her exam, he told her there was no change to her eyesight and she didn't need to purchase any glasses this year. From the moment I walked in, the staff appeared unprofessional--dressed in leggings, graphic tees, and sandals. The exam process didn't feel much better. Instead of an on-site ophthalmologist, the exam was done via Zoom with minimal guidance from what seemed like untrained technicians. What really bothered me was the lack of hygiene and professionalism. The exam room door was left open, and machines were not wiped down between patients. I had to ask the technician for something to clean the equipment myself. To top it off, I overheard one of the techs complaining to a coworker about the doctor "taking 20 minutes with a patient" like that was an inconvenience. That attitude says a lot. From now on, I'll gladly drive to a different location that values professionalism, proper hygiene, and respectful care.

Since the Axis measurements are associated with astigmatism I wanted to know. Got no answer. Also he wrote my name down wrong on the script and I had to have it redone. The only thing I learned from the visit was that opthalmologists have their own measurement system and it is different from that of optometrists. I don't trust my exam.
