I have been coming to this office for 11 years. After I had my son my vision went to awful . They explained so much to me and had helped me along my way. I love how helpful, friendly, and supportive the staff is. Dr. Mullins actually explained alot to me about my eyes. He is very patient and doesn't rush me. Always making sure my prescription is accurate and the frames I have I am happy with. After moving from Ooltewah, I still see them. I have referred people to him. Very difficult time getting phone calls and/or messages returned. I would think that staff would not be allowed to close up shop for the day UNTIL all messages had been returned. And, if you don't want to have to return messages, then answer the calls as they come in! When I called to make the initial appointment, the call was answered and I was able to get in the next day - WOW! I was impressed. However, not returning my calls is not leaving a good impression. read more

About a year ago we moved our whole family to this doctors office. No one there ever seems to answer the phone, or ever return phone calls. I have called three different times and left messages trying to schedule an appointment. No one ever answers or calls back. My only option at this point is to move our family to a different doctor. Very disappointed because this doctor was close to our home and work. I actually just went into their office to see if they are even still open. I told them that I have called multiple times and left three voicemails this week. The lady at the front desk offered no explanation or even an apology. I told her that I would just look for another doctor and she said, "OK" and went back to typing on her computer. The only reason that I am writing this review, is that hopefully the doctor will see it and know that he is losing patients because of those working at the front desk. read more

My wife and I were in town for Ironman Chattanooga, broke my glasses was blind as a bat, couldn't see anything. We called last minute but no other optometrist would take me on such short notice, well they did and gave me the best service I have ever had! I came away with new contacts and paid back the favor and bought 6 months worth for a little a hundred dollars....Customer Service and great cost that equals 100% to me. When we return next year for the race again I'm going to make a return visit and purchase a pair of glasses. Thank for the best service ever! read more

For starters we had a appointment the end of July. We were supposed to get eyeglasses and sunglasses. Said they would order our sunglasses Aug1. On August 7 went to pick up regular glasses and they were all bent up! After 10 times In and out still bent(not allowed in office at pick up) today September. Go to office to get sunglasses because noone calls back or answers. And the Doctor says they never ordered them because I was rude to them. He has nothing to do with it running office? Been a patient for years! And I get disrespect from his staff and he cops out? Why don't you care about your business Dr. Mullins? Your staff is horrible! read more

I have been using this optometrists office for 3 years now and they are Wonderful. The staff is friendly and helpful. They accommodated all of my requests and informative about what was available with my insurance. The doctor has a wonderful "bedside" manner and answered all of the questions I had about my exam. Overall I don't think I could ask for better service. read more

Dr. Mullins and his staff offer a great service and have a good selection of frames/ lenses. I have even special ordered frames they did not routinely carry. It's great to get the local feeling of an independent practice instead of dealing with the big box eyewear outlet! read more

A customer for 11 years until now. Just need a nose pad repaired. Cant leave a voicemail, have to send an email. Door is locked unless you have an appointment. No walk ins allowed. Too many hoops to jump through to just ask a question or a 5 min eyeglass repair. Sorry guys, you have lost 4 customers. Too many competitors that can actually help when needed. They seem to be able to help the customers with the same Covid restrictions/mandates you are following. read more

Eye exam was a easy like a sunday morning. Used state of the art equipment. They worked with my eye inurance for frames and lenses. I like the fact that they aren't a chain store and care about the customer. read more

I am so impressed with this Optometrist's office and staff. I felt at home the moment I walked in. The doctor personally came to get me from the waiting room and proceeded in detailing each step of the examination. He was personable and thorough and gave the glory to God that his business is growing by word of mouth only. Small comfortable office close to Beef O' Bradys in the Publix shopping center. Easy to find and warmly greeted. Love that quality in today's bustling world of Big Business. read more

I made an appointment for my kid and when I went in they "forgot" to write me down. They have appointments written down in pencil on a paper agenda. If I can't trust you to write down my appointment with a pencil I don't see how I could trust them with my kid's eyes. Judging by all the eraser marks and penciled in people over that I'm not sure we were actually forgotten or just written over. And really, who keeps up with appointments on paper anymore these days?
