I saw Dr. Patel for a remote glasses & contacts exam while Mr. Adam's was physically there to work the equipment & run test. She was also very knowledgeable and informative, communicating clearly without using a lot of medical terminology that could be confusing and without talking down to me. They both answered all of my questions throughly. I also ordered new lenses. The optical tech worked with me to figure out exactly what my insurance covered. I went back to pick up my glasses this past week. There was a different optical tech who fitted them on my face. She was also very kind & helpful asking me questions to help fit them perfectly. Since the visit went so well Ive already scheduled next year's appointment requesting to be with Dr. Patel again.

It's the simple truth: always ask for Jonathan who is the vision center manager. He gives the utmost customer service to his clientele. This store is located inside Walmart at the front of store on GM side. They have literally hundreds of eye glasses for sale. I brought in a pair of glasses that I have owned and worn for over seven years for what I believed would be a routine cleaning. These glasses are very important to me because they fit my face perfectly and have remained in excellent condition throughout the years. After my glasses were taken for cleaning, Dr. Ghaith Al-Sowaidi returned them to me with a significant crack in one of the lenses. The crack covered approximately 30% of the lens and was not present when I brought the glasses into the store. Dr. Al-Sowaidi explained that there may have been some residue or substance on the lens that caused it to crack during the cleaning process. While I understand that accidents can happen, what was most disappointing was the lack of empathy, concern, or apology regarding the damage. The response I received was essentially that the glasses were old, made of plastic, and that these things happen. As a customer, I expected a higher level of professionalism, compassion, and accountability, especially from a company that has built its reputation on helping people care for their vision. Had my glasses already been damaged, I would have asked about repair or replacement options. Instead, I came in simply for a cleaning and left with a pair of glasses that had been damaged while in the care of Visionworks. My family and I have trusted Visionworks for our eyewear needs for years, and this experience was very disappointing. I was hoping for some acknowledgment of the situation, concern for the inconvenience caused, and a discussion regarding possible solutions. Unfortunately, none of that occurred. I am bringing this matter to your attention in hopes that it can be reviewed and that appropriate steps can be taken to address both the damage to my glasses and the customer service experience. She normally has lots of anxiety when it comes to doctors, but she LOVED this place too. And they were really good with her as well. The techs she dealt with Jessica/Ian were VERY friendly to both me and her, but I was very impressed with the way they treated my 7 year old niece. Nothing but great things to say about this office at Hamilton Place Mall.

Don't get too comfortable because in my experience you won't be in it for long. I was promptly taken back where a detailed exam was performed on my eyes. The entire staff was super nice, very professional and highly skilled at what they do. I saw about 3 different technicians with each one doing a different part of my exam. Then the Dr came in and did his part of the exam and he spent a lot of time giving me options on glasses vs reading glasses only etc. I felt that this was a very good exam by a first class group of people. There is a huge difference in this and a typical walk in glasses dealer that makes it feel like you are at a fast food place. This is the opposite of that experience . Terrible experience…read more Dr. Rosenthal is quick, easy, and efficient. The staff however isn't very good. The young lady who helped place my order was informative and sweet. The other (older) staff is another story. I had to call 3 times to get my prescription (they forgot the first time and spelled my email wrong in the system the second time which tells me that no one even cared to notice the bounce back email the first or second time, if it was even sent the first time) and whoever checks in the glasses never confirmed I had anti glare on my lenses. I assume I'm getting what I paid for because you're the professionals. So I guess I paid for something I didn't get which to me, is fraud. I didn't know until I brought them to another office and they mentioned it. (I changed offices bc of the staff). The owner seems to be the only helpful one but the other ladies in the office seem scattered, unorganized, and are rude. Like if I'm bothering them with my business. I Finally got my copy of my prescriptions and have already found another office to order from with better service and accurate opticians. There's a lot of them in Chatt. Don't bother going here. They seem too busy for your business.

The problem is those staff, especially a black lady, who is super rude and unprofessional, I feel I was discriminated or mistreated because of my race. They are not good at keeping tab either, forgot to order my contact lenses and then misplaced them. When I told them that I want to figure out my right prescriptions and that black lady yelled at me. I was so freaking mad. I will never go back there again! And if you are not white or black, don't go! They will be rude to you!!
