I was seen at this clinic on 7/30/25 for Visual Disturbances which I've had in the past but this…read moretime I'm seeing squiggly lines and visual disturbances all day and it started happening to this affect 3 days ago I was seen by Optometrist Dr Doctor who did an exam and said my Retinas were healthy and what I had were floaters which I already knew but in the past this issue would resolve normally within an hour and I would get them once in a while but not every day all day which is what is happening now I told this to the Optometrist who had no time for questions nor did he ask me if I had any So basically they allowed me to leave with this issue which again I'm gett all day and has not decreased without any follow up for me at all I called the nurse line through my insurance who stated they should have also discussed the medications I was on as well as address some type of follow up I have requested a 2nd MD opinion offered by my company This clinic will send me an exorbitant bill for basically do an exam telling me I have floaters and allowing me to leave with my vision impaired with absolutely no follow up instructions Terrible care I'm supposed to just live with these visual disturbances all day every day now I'm tempted to notify the Attorney General office about this clinic terrible experience now I'll have to incur even more heal care costs because I'm not going to live with dots and squiggly lines in my vision all day I expect the manager of this clinic to return my call

The receptionist said that their cut off for late appointments is eight minutes. I looked at the time and said what time is it? She said nine minutes! I honestly wish they either would have told me they have an "eight minutes" late policy (though I was standing there waiting) or honestly why have such a tight schedule? No thanks! They literally spent over 2 hours with me today helping me order custom frames for my artsy personality because I didn't see anything with crazy enough colors on the shelf. They even helped me customize the tips of the glasses. Bre didn't miss a freaking beat and she talked to me like a friend and not like a sales person. I will never go to any other optical. It was one of those moments where you walk out feeling like an incredibly thankful person that was taken care of so amazingly well. Bre and Lindsey honestly made my entire day today. She was very thorough with the exams and explaining the process and results. My children had a slight change in vision, but not enough of a difference to warrant new glasses. She was honest in her assessment and wasn't pushy with purchasing glasses that weren't needed. I really appreciate that. She is a friendly and competent professional who delivers excellent customer service. I highly recommend Dr. Jamison. Update on June 24, 2018: Dr. Jamison and her staff are still providing excellent customer service. I took my two children for another eye exam a few days ago. They were seen almost immediately and Dr. Jamison did suggest glasses for them this time. My teenage son managed to find a pair of glasses right away, but my teenage daughter needed a lot more time. I grew up in Minnesota and saw Dr. Viker all throughout my adolescent years. I didn't realize how…read morelucky I was to be put under such great care until I moved to the East Coast, where I have been jumping around to different optometrists, seemingly every year. I can confidently say that Dr. Viker and Dr. Gustafson are the best optometrists I have ever seen. While many optometrists these days spend 15 minutes max with you -- placing value on efficiency and getting as many patients in and out of the door as possible -- both Dr. Viker and Dr. Gustafson put the patient first, taking the time to not only get your prescription right but also get a good understanding of the lifestyle factors that may be affecting your vision. Moreover, I've had preventive tests done at this practice that optometrists at other practices haven't even offered to me (e.g., that dreaded air puff test). Another thing that's great about Drs. Viker and Gustafson is that they love getting to know their patients personally. When I moved to the East Coast in 2011, I started seeing optometrists nearer to where I lived instead of waiting to get my eye exams done while visiting my parents on vacation. However, circumstances were such that I ended up needing to see Dr. Viker again in 2017, when I was home for the holidays. If you can believe it, after 6 long years, Dr. Viker not only personally recognized me but also remembered some of the things I told her back in 2011! What truly puts The Eye Doctors on top, however, is their commitment to customer service. In 2017, I ended up getting a faulty pair of glasses that -- due to a perfect storm of factors -- could not be returned to the lab and redone for me. It was a terrible circumstance in which I was out nearly $100 with prescription glasses that I could not use. However, even though much of the responsibility lay at the hands of the opticians who helped me with my order, Dr. Viker made the decision to reimburse me for the cost of the glasses out of the company budget. Given that the optometrist and optician practices are separate, Dr. Viker totally didn't have to do this, which made the gesture all the more meaningful to me. All in all, if you are living in the Twin Cities area, do yourself a favor and become a patient of Dr. Viker or Dr. Gustafson. You won't regret it.
