I have never been disappointed with a purchase or glance around the store. It's a difficult time entering into a gem of a warehouse like this, especially if you happen to be "browsing" or "just looking" when you really know that you weren't prepared for the treasure you'll come across that you never knew you wanted to need. Bracelets and necklaces can be custom fit, based on which crystal glassware or gem you want to feel for the day. You also have the ability to create your own accessories to your own desires or custom design a bracelet for a friend, loved one. While the prices are more than fair, if you know what you're looking for and at, you may even come across a hidden treasure so original, you find yourself setting time aside in the future for yourself and friends to travel the river's edge for some rocks and jewelry.

However, their selection of dresses seem to only fit the "ideal" body type. Their selection does not take into account girls with bigger chests, and they have a very small range of sizes. In addition, the amount of fallout from the glitter was insane. The value of the dresses seems pretty decent, it's just the glitter was everywhere. Service was okay. I had no problem with going into the changing rooms or anything like that. However, please, Windsor. Please take care of us girls that are on the bigger side. Diversity is key. This place creates insecurity and frankly made me feel like I wasn't worth being invited to prom by my partner..

But that has always been the way. If you're looking to sell your clothes and make a decent amount of what you spent back then you're gonna have to go on poshmark or Depop, and deal with customers and shipping. If you'd rather get a couple bucks than donate it all, then use Platos, just don't expect them to take it all and give you a wad of cash. It will never happen. My five stars is because I finally checked out the newer Colonie location and it was awesome! I prefer driving to Clifton Park but I'm willing to make the trip to this location now that I've checked it out! It was stocked really well and the plus section wasn't bad! I found a really nice new bag, two infinity scarves and a locket. But I wasn't looking to haul a bunch of clothes today. They did have a decent plus selection as mentioned and that's super hard to find most of the time when thrifting. Cute shoes too and lots of fun accessories. I just really really liked it! My bestie did try and sell a bunch of cute clothes and they rejected a ton and offered like $14 for the rest, but the lady at the counter was much much older and dressed very.... interesting. So ya can't take it personal when the fashion gate keeper is somebodies eccentric nana. Go to shop, or potentially discard some excess clothes for a buck, never expect to make coin. I regrettably didn't take pics of the store this trip, next time tho!

If you want to sell your clothes, you might as well give them away on the street -- it would be faster! They set specific days for donation drop-offs, but somehow they're never accepting donations because they don't hire enough staff -- mostly just family members and high school kids running the store. They even put up a big, dirty sign cutting off drop-off times just 45 minutes into the scheduled day. Honestly, I'm so tired of driving all the way here just to be disappointed. What used to be a dope store and great experience is now absolutely the worst. If you want to sell your stuff, go to Clifton Park instead -- their store is way better.

The location is on Everett Road, which is home to many other pre-existing medical/wellness/health facilities. It's very easy to find and ultra convenient from all directions, with highways and main roads all within 1/4 mile. Parking on the side is easy, and Robinson's is across the street from Big Nic's Pizzeria and Albany ENT, OrthoNY. I was greeted with the warmest and promptly asked how I may be helped. Not pushy. Gave me time to stroll, peruse, and enjoy the airy chill ambiance. There was no annoying music, the lighting is perfect--not too high and the paint/decor scheme is monochromatic, cool, calming with a bit of industrial flair. There's amazing local artwork (for sale) adorning the walls and an attached boutique offering handbags, accessories and more. Here's what I'm really pleased to see: A Lounge area. As you enter through the door, you're flanked by beautiful antique theater seats which were saved and obtained by Mr. Robinson and family. To the left is a separate lounge area in development. The idea of a local place where one can make their purchases and then walk over to an attached lounge is stellar. Everett road has a few eateries and a bar. Not everyone wants to sit at a bar. It's an inviting environment with guests of all wants and requirements which offers a social meeting place with comfy big chairs, darker tone, and clean decor. Other dispensaries are designed to bring you in and out quickly -- like a traditional pharmacy. This does not have that "pharmacy feel" and rather encourages their patrons to stick around, be social, relax and enjoy. What a concept! After a genuine conversation about real life stuff...Mr.Robinson shook my hand, thanked me multiple times for my business and invited me back. You can tell a lot from a handshake. I assured him i"ll be back soon...and with my wife! A well-designed dispensary offering multiple items. A lovely crew and family with a passion for helping others obtain valuable plant medicine within a safe, convenient and inviting environment. I've been to several dispensary shoppes and each one offers a different experience. Although in the early stages still, it's got massive plans with new innovation yet-seen around here. Robinson's seems to grab me. It was a nice experience. Finally. Please check them out!

What this translates into is that you KNOW you will find something when you walk in, because the interests are so wide. What can I say, I like to be fancy sometimes, and this Capital Region boutique always has exactly…read morewhat I'm looking for, even before I know what it is I'm looking for, ya know what I mean? This shop offers an entirely different shopping experience than we're used to in the Capital Region. Instead of rummaging through the racks at the big box or off-price stores, shopping at Fancy Schmancy is like the Cadillac of shopping experiences: pretty much one-stop shopping for all your fancy outfit needs, with attentive and sweet sales associates helping you find what you're looking for, minus the crowds and the parking and the other headaches that come with shopping at places like the mall. Fancy Schmancy is popular on the high school prom circuit (and rightfully so!); however, this shop is so much more than prom dresses and ball gowns - it's one of my favorite places to shop when I'm looking for something a little fancier than usual, so if/when you need something for a special occasion, you should definitely give this place a try! From black tie weddings to causal holiday parties, and I've always felt like a million bucks while wearing anything I've ever purchased from this shop, like the perfect cocktail dresses for my sister's December rehearsal dinner and black tie wedding in July, or a long tweed vest with a faux fur trimmed collar and pockets outlined with a uniform row of pearls and silver beads for a casual holiday party, I've found the perfect threads to wear for any occasion. And it's not just the clothes, either. Fancy Schmancy has a beautiful display and selection of jewelry/costume jewelry to accessorize with, not to mention trendy hair pieces, like top knot and Renaissance style headbands, sparkly bobby pins, and the latest craze: jumbo flip clips. I actually picked up a pair of jumbo flip clips adorned in pearls to wear to the holiday party with the faux fur vest (I was getting a blow out so why not be extra fancy, right?) and what started an impulse buy at the register turned into my new favorite hair accessory! They have a really fun social media feed (@fancyschmancycouture) and true story: one time last summer I raced over there after I saw a really cool newspaper print jumper in their Instagram Stories, because it was the perfect outfit to wear to an event I had that weekend. So if anyone doubts the power of social media, I'm a good case study. They have a good price point overall - some things can be a little on the higher end (the fancier cocktail dresses and pieces in that department), but their casual wear is pretty reasonable, and it's definitely boutique quality and selection over the mass produced stuff you see on the racks virtually everywhere else. Social media is a great way to keep up with their inventory and, more importantly, sales! In fact, right now until the end of the year (literally one more day) they're offering 40% off casual wear, so I'm tempted to pop in to see what last minute deals of 2019 I can snag! If you're still looking for a NYE outfit, I highly suggest you save yourself the headache and aggravation of rummaging through the racks at the mall and give this boutique a try - you might be surprised! I know I was.
