The workers are always nice here. It's a really big space and is organized. They do try to…read moreseparate different types of clothes - like pants from shorts etc. It's usually semi messy with clothes falling on the floor off of the racks. Some other stores have clothes jammed in tight on each rack - but not here. It's full but not jammed full. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing. The stuff is really hit or miss. Sometimes you find great items and other times it seems to be lots of clothes that are torn or stained. Kinda just how thrifting seems to be.

It doesn't wait to give employees toilet paper until some is donated. It doesn't look down on its employees for not being able to put 85 pieces of clothing away correctly in under 5 mins. Have you EVER seen ANYTHING in the community sponsored by Goodwill? No. Sponsored by Salvation Army? 100%. They do what they say they will. Goodwill won't give discounts to not-for-profits that want to give homeless women and children boots in the winter. I was the cashier-I saw this happen first hand and quit because of it. I've been…read moregoing there for a couple months and there is this old lady who has her own corner who is always taking bad about me whenever I am there. Today I went in and she was mad when I came in even though they were open for business. She kept saying under her breath shd had some stuff to do in her corner. She was angry about watching me and my sister as we were shopping because we she believed we would steal. You would think that as a returning customer she would know by now we are not like that. Sh then chose to talk behind my back to another worker about how I was just "browsing around" and not buying. Of course I have to "browse around" when there is a ton of stuff to sift through!!! She is a very racist women I would say based on my religion and the way I dress. My sister who has Down Syndrome went in with me last month. My sister was tired and sat on one of the old chairs. The same lady goes off my sister ranting with another worker yet again not realizing my sister has a disability. She said "why are they sitting if they won't buy". I'm disappointed at the lack of respect given to me as a customer. I will no longer go here again despite the good finds unless I am given an apology. Another note, I am a LOCAL OF COHOES IN HIGH SCHOOL.

They helped select a stunningly effulgent round diamond solitaire style pendant, with my first choice for any karat, color, or clarity as they will be happy to personalize for me and their asking prices are very reasonable market-wise. They thoroughly and attentively explained to me the differences in the grades and gave me helpful input about whether I should choose white gold or platinum, round or princess cut, etc. I needed the chain customized for both 16 inch and 18 inches, so I will be picking it up on Monday so I can wear it both ways, no additional charge. I left there really happy about my purchase as well as their exceptional service and I don't even leave Tiffany & Co. half as excited. The first was half off and the 2nd about the same when they matched a price I found online for the same watch that was better than the 25% off the shop was already offering. I went in earlier in the day to look at it and didn't feel at all pressured by the salesperson and I could tell she genuinely liked watches, jewelry and helping customers. I went back later and showed them the deal online and within a few short minutes I was paying. They adjusted the bracelet as I waited too which was much appreciated, even after I offered to leave it until later. I did have a watch I did not buy from them adjusted about a year ago and the service was very reasonably priced, especially considering I tried myself and gauged the band. I definitely recommend giving this local shop a shot before you buy from a chain or online. They have a nice sized clearance section and other sales too. Also some pretty cool vintage pieces that may interest some. Haha they even had Downton Abbey jewelry! Who knew!
