Nice and clean...a preferred hotel for our stays in Rolla to visit our S & T student!! Manager of nearly 20 years remembers us from previous stays!! It's a great and welcoming feeling to be recognized! Rooms are warm and quiet, and ready upon arrival! Daily breakfast and evening happy hour are refreshing treats!! Staff was very understanding when we had to cut our stay short due to incoming snow! We will be back!! Thank you for your Rollamo hospitality!!

Nicole trying to do it all. Changing our sheets. Shame on Drury for not staffing correctly.

I don't know where these reviewers were staying, but it was surely not the Drury we stayed in. Dirty sheets and comforters. No elevators. Hallway door to parking lot did not close completely. Suspect neighborhood. Not worth the $ at half the cost. Nicole at the front desk was kind, but she can't control the environment.

This is the inside of the room which by the way was a sight for sore eyes, needs updating but always quite and comfortable.

We stayed here during a conference and it was very pleasant. Nice people, comfortable room, the cool extras, AND they are pet friendly.

The young gentleman working the front desk when I checked in was courteous and helpful getting me settled in. I booked a king room with a study. The room was large enough so I didn't feel cramped and crowded. I could spread out and get some work done. The room felt modern, the linens were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was pretty standard. My only complaint about my visit was the water pressure. I love a good hot shower. I tried different settings on the shower head but was disappointed. They offer breakfast and have a very nice selection. There are standard cold items fruit, cereal, yogurt, etc. there was a waffle station and meat and eggs. The coffee was the perfect compliment to my meal. I will be traveling this way again soon. I will be back soon.

My bar was a bit low when booking this particular hotel prior to our departure. Rolla is a mining area and not really a bustling spot for regular travelers like myself otherwise. Parked directly between Springfield and St. Louis though, it was going to be the ideal spot for us to wrap up 10 hours of driving that day. This Hampton Inn seemed to be the best option in the area. Clearly the most expensive hotel for Rolla, it appeared other options had exceptionally bad ratings or were super cheep road side rooms. Traveling with one other female, a kid and a dog, we booked the Hampton Inn because: 1) it would take a pet ($75 pet fee) 2) it had a frig in the room 3) assumed better safety based on hotel brand name 4) no other known option in my opinion I felt comfortable booking Small, friendly, easy, relatively clean, I found this Hampton Inn just fine. It includes breakfast every morning in addition to two bottles of water in the room. Priced a touch high for area, but not really though for being the best option in area and safety in the Hilton branded Hampton name. Carson who checked us in was friendly, welcoming and explained all we needed to know. Thanks Carson for the hospitality. No USB port options in room, which was my only noticeable con observation. The bathroom could use a little update, maybe some sanding down of the paint on the vanity that was pealing away specifically, but was clean, with plenty of towels and bottled pump shampoo/conditioner/body wash in shower. It was ok. It had a clock, when many hotels are doing away with these in today's world. With 4am wake up times, best to have options for alarms. Although we arrived late, I believe it also serves an easy dinner in the same area as they serve breakfast. Pictures look like maybe a simply pasta, some breads, etc. Don't let my 3 be a discouraging rating. It means to me OK good, not OK bad.

We got our Marriott bag of treats including a chocolate, bottled water and a popcorn snack. Dinner told us where the pool was. The pool is magnificent: not too cold not too hot and the perfect size to swim around and have fun, but not gigantic and cumbersome to move around in. We stayed in the pool for a long time, swimming and chatting and having a ball. The next morning breakfast was from 630 until nine. There we met the wonderful Connie and Julia and eight are delicious. Very impressive breakfast. I don't even like cheese, but I couldn't say no to the jalapeño three cheese scones. It was amazing. We loved the two different kinds of sausage oranges bananas make your own waffles. Either large or four minis eggs muffins oatmeal the list goes on and on. I'm not a coffee person, but I had quite the impressive coffee bar that had people coming back multiple times. Also at breakfast, I was able to watch Tanya talk to what appeared to be someone who's there quite often catching up like old friends do. This hotel felt both like a beautiful palace but also a comfy bed and breakfast

Service animals are protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act and are not subject to pet policies or pet fees. No damage occurred, and the charge on my folio was explicitly labeled as a pet cleaning fee rather than any documented damage or extraordinary cleaning. I contacted hotel management in writing to explain the situation and cite the applicable ADA regulations. As of this review, I have received no response or resolution from the property. On top of this the comforter was stained upon arrival. The hotel claims to be very clean and all it takes is 5 minutes of being there to see their low standards. This experience was disappointing and concerning, particularly for guests who rely on service animals and expect ADA compliance from a national hotel chain. I would strongly encourage management to review ADA requirements and ensure staff are properly trained to avoid similar situations in the future. I would never stay at this hotel again nor recommend it to anyone I know. Truly, I'd rather sleep in my car.

The desk clerk was friendly, helpful and gave us good restaurant recommendations. The continental breakfast was decent. There were some minor renovations taking place during my three night stay and they were handled well with almost no inconvenience. That is except the 2:30 AM fire alarm. There is nothing like being awakened by a blaring alarm at that hour. Tabitha the manager (who came in in the middle of the night too) handled the issue quickly and professionally. From the moment we arrived, the front desk staff was not welcoming. They weren't outright rude, but they were inattentive and gave the impression that guest service was not a priority. The room itself had a noticeable mildew odor, and the sheets smelled sour, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness. The biggest issue, however, was the shower. It drained extremely slowly, leaving us standing in dirty backwash while trying to bathe. We reported the problem to the front desk before leaving for the day on Sunday, expecting it to be properly addressed. When we returned that evening, the beds had been made and it seemed like some sort of spray had been used to mask the smell, but the main issue was not fixed. The shower was still draining poorly, and it appeared that the only "solution" was pulling the drain stopper up higher rather than actually resolving the problem. Overall, the lack of attention to cleanliness and failure to properly address a basic maintenance issue made this stay very unpleasant. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this location to others.

We stayed in July. The air conditioner is lackluster at best. Barely anything is coming out of it…read more When we complained to the staff, they said that all the air conditioners work that way, and that it has to be capped within a three or four degree working range of the ambient temperature, or the compressor will freeze. Which entirely obviates the entire point of the bloody air conditioner. So we are going to have a very hard time sleeping here tonight. Based on this experience alone, I am never ever considering a Super 8 ever again. The one thing that you can generally count on at a hotel, that there's going to be a nice cold air conditioner, does not exist here. If you can sleep in the mid-70s, congratulations. If you need it to be in the 60s, you are up a creek without a paddle and don't ever stay here. I am very glad that I brought a shop fan to blow on me so that I can attempt to get some sleep tonight. This is a basic amenity that they are half-assing, and the entire company should be ashamed of themselves. Also, if you are expecting a pool, please don't expect to use it for anything other than standing there. It closes at 9:00pm and is remarkably tiny, too small to even really swim laps. Imagine that you made enough mistaken choices in your life to wind up in Missouri. Now imagine that you also don't have proper air conditioning. The room is par for the course otherwise for hotels of this caliber, but the air conditioning thing is a bloody deal breaker. Don't stay here. This is bad enough that i keep legitimately considering driving another 8 hours back to Texas and it's already 10:00 p.m.

They are in the middle of a Renovation and they have 'Excuse Our Mess' on all of the doors. The Check-In Clerk was Becky and she was very nice and Professional. Directing me where to Park and enter to be close to our room. Our Room was a Pet Friendly one -- therefore no Carpeting. But the Flooring was a Laminate and appeared to have been newly replaced. The Floor was Gray and Black and the Black Out Curtains were Dark Blue with hints of Gray. The walls appeared to be newly painted in shades of Gold and Green. Which found a little strange. There was a Gold Wing Back Chair with a Pillow. The Bedspread was WHITE with a Gold and Rust Runner along the bottom. Absolutely NO Artwork on any of the walls. It made me think that they were still working on this room. The Fridge and Microwave were a little older with some scratches, etc. but worked just fine. The Pool was Indoors and looked AMAZING!! But Hubby doesn't swim -- so I didn't use it. Their Breakfast was Continental with the usual Cereals, Breads, Bagels, Yogurt and Fruit. They did have some Muffins that looked tasty, but I have to eat Gluten Free so most of items were off limits for me. They also had little Pancake and Waffle Makers with your choice of Regular or Blueberry Batter (which smelled really good). They had some Hot Items -- Biscuits and Gravy and Sausage Patties. Hubby said that the Gravy was pretty good! I had a Yogurt and an Apple with a glass of Orange Juice (the Juice was very diluted). They had Coffee and Hot Tea, as well. We had easy access to an area to walk our Pets and carried along our little Waste Disposal Bags. They are directly across from Bandana's BBQ -- which is an excellent place for Lunch, Dinner or Drinks. All Members of their Staff were Courteous and Helpful. The one Minus Point for me was that they charged $15 per Dog -- Totaling $30. The Check Out process went smoothly and I was given a Printed Receipt from a sweet Young Lady whose name I didn't get. Will definitely stay here again.

But there are some issues to share that were disappointing. BREAKFAST: With kids, one thing I look for is hot breakfast included with the stay. They offer this, but we didn't end up eating there at all. Their waffle machine was out of commission the entire stay. Clearly, there was no effort to fix or replace it since we were there during weekdays. It wasn't an issue of it breaking over the weekend. The only hot options were scrambled eggs and sausage with no sides -- no cheese, no gravy, no nothing. Just scrambled eggs and sausage links. Not kid friendly. So I thought they could have cereal. The only cereal option was raisin bran. Not cool. We ate snacks in our room and opted for an early lunch. FRIDGE: The refrigerator barely cooled. I had to end up taking our food out of it and putting it in a cooler with ice. TV: Typically on a trip we don't watch much TV. But, my kids are big into baseball and wanted to watch the MLB Home Run Derby. First, the TV wasn't connected at all. I called the front, and they told me to wait it out. Before the game, I walked down and saw the TVs were working in the lobby, and ours wasn't. The front desk attendant came to our room and found that everything had been disconnected. It took about 10 minutes, then she figured it out. BUT, we still couldn't watch the MLB Home Run Derby. It kept rebooting about every five minutes. The front desk attendant was aware and said that happens with all the TVs. It goes out for about 2 minutes and then comes back on. But when you are watching a live event, it makes it impossible to watch. VERY disappointing. We ended up leaving a day early and made it home in time to watch the All Star game. AC The first night was hot and muggy. I looked on the wall, and it said the AC was on. The fan was running all night, but the temperature never went down. When the lady came to check on our TV, I had her check the AC. There was something clicked on it that had the fan going, and it was on cool already, but it wasn't cooling. I'm not sure what she did. So if you stay here and can't get the AC going, talk to the front desk before spending a hot night! Overall, if we didn't need a fridge for a multi-day stay and had no desire to watch TV or eat breakfast, this room was good for the price. Maybe a quick one-night stay where we would leave early the next day. I don't recommend it for a multiple-day stay.
