Windows rusty and paint pealing off the pool walls.

Somewhere close to home to have a sleepover and swim for a birthday party...not what I was expecting! Place is a glorified turd! Rooms stunk! Paint pealing a cracking everywhere you turn. Rooms doors so thin you can hear everything while people are talking in the hallways. Booked and confirmed for adjoining rooms, upon arrival told by front desk personal, rooms were not available as promised and given rooms next to each other. (Rented a king and a double queen, got 2 queens) because kids had swam earlier in the day, when we went to swim at 7pm, I was approached and told the kids had had their swim time and there were others in the pool area who were "paying customers" and we needed to be respectful to them. (Playing poker and drinking beer out of glass bottles) Ummm don't you have to be a paying customer to have a room whether it's cash, credit or points? And don't you think a person with points to have a couple rooms probably travels significantly to get said points?!? I would not recommend this place to anyone! Stay across the road at the super 8! They may not have a pool, but I've stayed there in the past. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly and treat everyone like a guest!

This Days Inn motel along interstate 44 is a very convenient place to just spend your night if you feel your eyes are only halfway open while driving 75 mph. Night staff is very friendly and accomodating but morning shift people are bizzare, a guy that looks like an extra in a Bollywood movie starred at me suspiciously when I took a bucket of ice from the machine. Free Wi-Fi and free continental breakfast, not bad for the price. Make sure to find some travel discount coupon for a better deal. Fresh linens and comfortable bed, a typical economy type of motel.

Just passing through.... I am a Hilton Honors member and prefer to stay with them when I'm away…read morefrom home. The hotel felt newly renovated with a stylish comfortable lobby area. The young gentleman working the front desk when I checked in was courteous and helpful getting me settled in. I booked a king room with a study. The room was large enough so I didn't feel cramped and crowded. I could spread out and get some work done. The room felt modern, the linens were comfortable and clean. The bathroom was pretty standard. My only complaint about my visit was the water pressure. I love a good hot shower. I tried different settings on the shower head but was disappointed. They offer breakfast and have a very nice selection. There are standard cold items fruit, cereal, yogurt, etc. there was a waffle station and meat and eggs. The coffee was the perfect compliment to my meal. I will be traveling this way again soon. I will be back soon.

My bar was a bit low when booking this particular hotel prior to our departure. Rolla is a mining area and not really a bustling spot for regular travelers like myself otherwise. Parked directly between Springfield and St. Louis though, it was going to be the ideal spot for us to wrap up 10 hours of driving that day. This Hampton Inn seemed to be the best option in the area. Clearly the most expensive hotel for Rolla, it appeared other options had exceptionally bad ratings or were super cheep road side rooms. Traveling with one other female, a kid and a dog, we booked the Hampton Inn because: 1) it would take a pet ($75 pet fee) 2) it had a frig in the room 3) assumed better safety based on hotel brand name 4) no other known option in my opinion I felt comfortable booking Small, friendly, easy, relatively clean, I found this Hampton Inn just fine. It includes breakfast every morning in addition to two bottles of water in the room. Priced a touch high for area, but not really though for being the best option in area and safety in the Hilton branded Hampton name. Carson who checked us in was friendly, welcoming and explained all we needed to know. Thanks Carson for the hospitality. No USB port options in room, which was my only noticeable con observation. The bathroom could use a little update, maybe some sanding down of the paint on the vanity that was pealing away specifically, but was clean, with plenty of towels and bottled pump shampoo/conditioner/body wash in shower. It was ok. It had a clock, when many hotels are doing away with these in today's world. With 4am wake up times, best to have options for alarms. Although we arrived late, I believe it also serves an easy dinner in the same area as they serve breakfast. Pictures look like maybe a simply pasta, some breads, etc. Don't let my 3 be a discouraging rating. It means to me OK good, not OK bad.

Check-in was quick and easy, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the room was clean and well-maintained. Most importantly, I got a great night's sleep, which made all the difference. Right off the highway and near our relative's house. The hotel itself was new and modern. Love the decor. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a king bed and a pullout sofa. Having 2 TVs was nice to let the kids watch one and we had the other. Bed was comfy and shower was always hot. As for amenities, we used the fitness room daily. There was plenty of cardio equipment and my husband used the free weights. We planned to let the kids use the indoor pool but never got around to it. As for the breakfast, it is good. There is always some kind of eggs and meat (since we eat low carb, this is clutch.) There are also other options like homemade waffles, various breads, bagels, pastries, muffins, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal. One day they had cheese omelets but they were out. I asked a worker and they not only replenished them, she brought one over to me so I didn't have to get up. (So nice.) The workers here were all wonderful. Every single one of them were friendly and helpful. We definitely plan to stay here next time we're in town!

I stayed one night at this Comfort Suites location and was later charged a $150 "pet cleaning fee"…read moredespite traveling with a service animal, not a pet. Service animals are protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act and are not subject to pet policies or pet fees. No damage occurred, and the charge on my folio was explicitly labeled as a pet cleaning fee rather than any documented damage or extraordinary cleaning. I contacted hotel management in writing to explain the situation and cite the applicable ADA regulations. As of this review, I have received no response or resolution from the property. On top of this the comforter was stained upon arrival. The hotel claims to be very clean and all it takes is 5 minutes of being there to see their low standards. This experience was disappointing and concerning, particularly for guests who rely on service animals and expect ADA compliance from a national hotel chain. I would strongly encourage management to review ADA requirements and ensure staff are properly trained to avoid similar situations in the future. I would never stay at this hotel again nor recommend it to anyone I know. Truly, I'd rather sleep in my car.

Our family stayed here while visiting. We used to exclusively stay at this brand of hotels but…read morerecently switched to Fairfield Inns. Unfortunately, the NEW Fairfield which was nearby was literally DOUBLE the price of this one so we stayed here. While it wasn't terrible, it wasn't the great great either. We liked the location of this hotel, right off the interstate. Having the shopping plaza right there with TJMAXX, Ross and Academy Sports was nice as there isn't *that* much to do in Rolla but shopping is alway fun. The one negative about the location is there really isn't any food options RIGHT nearby. Perhaps down the road they'll build some restaurants?? The building itself is ok. I'm pretty sure this hotel is older but renovated. Our 2 queen room was comfortable and clean. The hotel has a fitness center and indoor pool which we did not utilize. A big draw of this hotel brand is their free breakfast with their "famous" Cinnamon Rolls. (Drool). I would eat my weight in those things except that I wouldn't want to be like 500lbs so I limit myself to one or two. Aside from them, various types of eggs (some days scrambled, some days fried), sausage or bacon, biscuits and gravy, made to order pancake machine, cold cereals, yogurt and some breads/bagels. Coffee was always hot and fresh. One of the biggest negatives is that the side door key card reader didn't work. As a result, someone kept putting a rock in the door to keep it open. (We assumed workers were doing this so they could go out and come in for smoke breaks). Needless to say, we didn't feel very safe having a locked door kept ajar for anyone to waltz into our hotel unnoticed. We kicked the rock away numerous times but another one would return. As for the employees, everyone I talked to were friendly, especially the breakfast attendant. With that said, I have been taught to not judge a book by it's cover... but many of the "books" here look pretty rough around the edges. We kept a "do not disturb" card on our door hoping to keep anyone out of our room. We also didn't bring anything of value into the room just in case. Maybe we're mistaken. All in all, we had a good stay here and would consider visiting again.
