Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean, but not modern. Basic, but doable. Would like better outdoor lighting.

It was clean and the amenities are great. The host was nice. They have a decent breakfast and laundry facilities available.

We stayed in July. The air conditioner is lackluster at best. Barely anything is coming out of it. When we complained to the staff, they said that all the air conditioners work that way, and that it has to be capped within a three or four degree working range of the ambient temperature, or the compressor will freeze. Which entirely obviates the entire point of the bloody air conditioner. So we are going to have a very hard time sleeping here tonight. Based on this experience alone, I am never ever considering a Super 8 ever again. The one thing that you can generally count on at a hotel, that there's going to be a nice cold air conditioner, does not exist here. If you can sleep in the mid-70s, congratulations. If you need it to be in the 60s, you are up a creek without a paddle and don't ever stay here. I am very glad that I brought a shop fan to blow on me so that I can attempt to get some sleep tonight. This is a basic amenity that they are half-assing, and the entire company should be ashamed of themselves. Also, if you are expecting a pool, please don't expect to use it for anything other than standing there. It closes at 9:00pm and is remarkably tiny, too small to even really swim laps. Imagine that you made enough mistaken choices in your life to wind up in Missouri. Now imagine that you also don't have proper air conditioning. The room is par for the course otherwise for hotels of this caliber, but the air conditioning thing is a bloody deal breaker. Don't stay here. This is bad enough that i keep legitimately considering driving another 8 hours back to Texas and it's already 10:00 p.m. ​​ read more

Mold on all the lampshades, mold in and on the ac unit, mold on the shower curtain. When I checked in I noticed the shower curtain and called the front desk, they couldn't replace it till the morning. This was the first room on the third floor. When went to the front desk in the morning, I quietly told them the situation and showed them these photos. They NEVER apologized to me they just said oh ok we will put you in another room. They put me in a queen room when I had reserved a king, I walked in it and the second room ALSO had mold. Mold everywhere, lampshades ac unit everywhere(I have a video). I had to grab all of my things AGAIN and tell them of this issue. They never apologized to me and never offered anything to me to make up for this disgusting un healthy mess. As an asmatic this is highly dangerous and I was smart enough to keep my inhaler and allergy medication with me for this trip. We will never be coming back here. I paid $190 to stay in this filth and I won't ever do it again. I will also be letting everyone know about this. read more

How can an indoor pool be closed for the winter? Isn't that the reason to have an indoor pool? The kids were so disappointed. This certainly is not a starred hotel and it won't be the cleanest one you've been in but it will probably be comfortable and quiet. A marginally acceptable place to sleep. read more

I really don't think I need to add much information here. Take a look at the two pictures attached. Upon entering the room, we found a horrendous stain on this chair and pubes in the shower. On top of that, the entire room smells musty. This will be our last day at a Super 8. I'm afraid to see what we find in the sheets. Avoid--it's not worth the savings! read more

I booked a room at this hotel via booking.com and the hotel charged me $20 extra when I checked in. They also wanted $100 upfront in case of damages. We gave them cash, which they stated will be returned after checking the room. The nonsmoking room smelled very strongly of cigarette smoke. This is a very inexpensive hotel (I believe my room was $79). It seemed clean and accommodations were adequate. My only disappointments were the volume limit on the TV, which was barely audible when the air conditioning was running; also, I had toothpaste but forgot my toothbrush. I personally thought this was a good experience but there's a few things to note that will definitely prepare my family and I for the next booking. The pool is a lot smaller in person than in the picture. Not that it's small but just keep that in mind. When I was walking outside to the car, I saw a broken drug needle in the sidewalk. I understand this is inevitable but there are ways to prevent it, I'm glad that it was cleaned up, however. The staff was great! The housecleaning offered us towels and many other things when asked and did not disturb anyone while cleaning. The bed blankets were a bit thin but still comfortable. My mom and I made the decision to buy a blanket at the store for us just because we wanted extra blankets but it wouldn't be impossible to sleep. Something I especially didn't like was when you turn the bathroom light on, it turns the fan on too. So I had to be careful when going to the bathroom that I didn't wake my family. The room comes with a mini fridge and microwave which was great for four people staying for a week! The parking lot was good however upon entering you have to go down this very steep hill to enter. You could go through the carport to get to the parking lot though. The wifi was hard to get at first but we figured out that there is a second and third page that you have to wait for and accept when joining. When in the pool other guests end I noticed a lot of clumps of hair in the pool. This was taken care of by the staff two days after it was mentioned. We not only found hair but many coins and beads and other items in the pool area. Even though there were things that could be fixed with this place, I still had a good time and will be checking photos more often when booking rooms! Also, to add the toilet and bathroom area was pretty small but it wasn't terrible. read more

Clean, modern and friendly. We had a good stay here. Breakfast included fresh fruit and decaf coffee. Reception even had a bottle opener as we forgot ours. A luggage cart was available for our use. We arrived around 8pm and the pool was lit up and inviting. Our king bed was inviting with modern square pillows, the mattress and bed linens were perfect. read more

For the price, this Super 8 fit the bill. A clean, comfortable and safe establishment for the weary traveler. Service at the front desk was very friendly, prompt and courteous. Other staff we encountered seemed happy enough with their job to offer a friendly smile or polite "good morning". The room itself was sufficiently sized, the beds firm and comfortable. Overall appearance and smell was clean and everything seemed to be in working order. The addition of outlet cubes to offer plenty of plug-in options for all of our electronics was very much appreciated. The shower was hot and the water pressure could strip the rust from an old pipe. While this is certainly not a 5-Star hotel, I give them 5 stars for being all they can be in making my stay exactly what I was expecting for a fair price. My review is rather complicated! First of all, I tend to travel and not worry too much where I am going to stop- this time I planned ahead. Around Noon, I began searching for hotels in Rolla, Mo online. I found the super 8 for $61.00. I called super 8 and booked the room. The lady said that they did not accept military discounts but accepted AAA. Ok- then she said it would be $80 for the room. I explained I was on their website and it said $61! Instead of trying to deal with her, I asked her if I could straighten this pricing issue when I got to the hotel- she said yes-( I am sure to get me off the phone). 4-5 hours later, I check in and they refuse to do anything about the price because they were full up and didn't need to adjust the price at all! Then I found them in a coupon book that you find at the welcome center for $59.99! I take that to them and again- it says holidays/weekends and special occasions the coupon is not honored. I said to him this is mid week and this is not a holiday- what is the special occasion- he replied we are full! This may seem petty to some, and this entire thing is not about paying $84, but more about ethics and the whole bait and switch. I will not stay here again because of this. Friendly staff, clean room, decent breakfast. Nice little pool than my daughters and I enjoyed swimming in. One complaint would be a slight cigarette smell in the room but it was not a strong odor but was noticeable. There was also cigarette burn holes in our blanket. We were looking for a cheap stay on our way to Branson with our daughter. We found that here. Service was fine, all employees that we came in contact with were smiling and cheerful. The breakfast the next morning was great. Hot waffles, juices and beagles. However, when we walked into our room the smell of stale, old cigarettes to the point in which we all had headaches. For a non smoking room it was not... The shower wouldn't drain. The water filled up and we used the ice bucket lid to hold the nozzle of the drain up. It scared my daughter. read more

Simply amazing Super 8! I paid just under $40 for my room not expecting to get more than a mediocre experience at best. What I got was a great experience! I walked in the door at 8pm and the place was spotless! The receptionist was extremely polite, professional and helpful in getting me quickly checked in without issue. The place has an indoor pool/jacuzzi and workout room, all of which were also well kept and spotless. When I walked into my room, it was also spotless. Fresh towels in the bathroom and lenins on the bed. A nice little selection of coffee and soaps near the sink. The tv had a decent selection of cabel channels, and the wifi was high speed, stable and complimentary (Netflix had no problem). My bed was very comfy as well. When I awoke in the morning there was complimentary continental breakfast in the lobby. A nice selection of breads, cereals, and juices. Everything was fresh and good. When I went to check out, it was a different receptionist who was just as polite and professional as the first in checking me out. All in all I had a great experience, and if I'm ever in Rolla again I'm definitely staying here! read more

Clean, spacious, well decorated rooms. Comfortable beds and very friendly emloyees. The hotel is less than 10 years old, so it has a clean, fresh feel. There is a pretty good selection of restaurants close by. Pet friendly. The only issue I had was with the free breakfast. The coffee cups were tiny. No to go cups. Surprisingly clean and nice, both for a Super 8 in general and especially for the price. I arrived at 11 pm and noticed that they had a workout room, but the door said that the room closed at 10. I mentioned it to the desk clerk and she said, "oh, it's available 24 hours now, I'll unlock it for you" and I was able to get in a workout, which was the perfect thing I needed after a long day on the road. I wouldn't say that I'm normally really loyal to Super 8 hotels - although I am loyal to "cheap" - but this place was a very pleasant surprise. read more

My family and I stayed at Suoer 8 in Rolla Missouri on April 2019. We were in town from N.C. for my sons graduation ceremony from the Army. Everyone at the Super 8 was so nice. The housekeeping staff was so friendly and meticulous. One housekeeper in particular, a male (I don't know his name), was incredible. He made sure we had everything we needed and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. On our way back home, it was pouring ran and my windshield wipers were broken. The male housekeeper saw us struggling to fix the wipers and came off his break to help. He had to have spent his entire break to help. It was pouring ran, I could not thank him enough. When we returned home, my son couldn't find his military records. We searched all over and eventually gave up. We found out, not all the documents could be replaced. The document that could be replaced could take over 60 days to get. We needed that missing form now for a college interview. I told my son to call the Super 8 that maybe it would be there. I thought this as a long shot because the paperwork could have easily been mistaken for trash and thrown away. Today we were so excited to find that the papers were found. I am so happy. We left the papers 3 months ago and the hotel kept them secure. I don't know who found them and turned in. I strongly suspect it was the same housekeeper that helped me with my windshield wipers. I would really like to know so I could thank the person. I give the super 8 a five star rating. Thank you so much Super 8. Thank you to the wonderful and amazing staff. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who is passing by rolla, Missouri. The staff is awesome and very nice when we walked in and when we checked out. The room was very cleaned we had a microwave and refrigerator in our room and a nice lounge chair. they have non smoking rooms for all of us that are non smokers. They are not expensive at all, and very pet friendly. We stayed with my dog and the rooms are very roomy. So I give this hotel 5 stars!!! This hotel is also in a nice area. And a lot of grass for your pets (; and lots of space for uhaul and trailers! read more

Place is clean and nice and staff is very sweet. But my husband and I have been up since 4 am because the mattress here is just awful. You can feel every spring just cutting into your back. The pool also is one of the smallest pools I have ever seen in a hotel 4 to 5 people in it and it is crowded. Also the landscaping in the front and back is awful. Not to mention the building to the right is abandoned with trash and tires everywhere and to the left is a shady hotel so it does not make you feel real safe. read more

Our stay in this motel went very well. The price for the room was fair. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall the motel was in good shape and clean. The room and beds were comfortable and the air conditioner worked well. The indoor pool was small but nice. The breakfast was good, I liked the coffee and fresh made waffles. I have stayed here 3 times now and it has been super clean and comfortable every time. It is not fancy and the breakfast is skimpy, but for the price it is great.
