Six pretty good sized men showing up at one woman's house is definitely overkill. Six men showing up at your house would be scary to some women!!! It's surely NOT wise!!! Some of these guys could have sat in one of their trucks instead of just standing around. Anyway, 2 of the fellas - evidently worker bees - went under my house while everyone else stood around. They looked around, & saw the how the previous plumber had blocked my access to the rest of the plumbing & came out to tell their bosses. They told the Main Boss how all my plumbing was PVC pipe. He made it very plain that he wasn't pleased to hear that. He said that he doesn't like working with PVC. Maybe he doesn't do drain lines. I explained to him that I needed that one drainage line moved (rerouted,) so that it didn't block my path & I wanted the water lines wrapped for the Winter, so they wouldn't freeze. I don't think I told them that I needed the drainage lines strapped up which is another thing the previous plumber failed to do. Anyway, they didn't want to dig under the line that was blocking the access to see the rest of the plumbing behind it, so they really couldn't give me a real estimate, but the head guy said they'd do the work. I wasn't impressed! I don't do half or maybe estimates, or just hire folks NOT knowing what all is involved & how much money I am going to spend!!! So, no thank you, K&K!!!

I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. My wife called back and talked with someone who said they would contact the driver and have the driver call my wife. By 10pm, nobody had called my wife. I called and talked to someone in their 24-hour call center and was told that they got a manager involved and the manager would research the issue and call my wife back. My wife needed to leave my mother-in-law's house today and head back home for appointments all next week. This debacle has cost them travel time and they may be having to cancel doctor appointments over this. I needed the Badger 3/4 hp Garbage disposal changed $178.00. A Pfister bathroom sink cartridge change out. $10.89 for cold $12.49 for hot. And two bathroom sink drains change out. Because the coating was pealing off. Nothing actually wrong. $21.49x2 They quoted me $2270.00. That is $250 in parts. $2020 in labor. It took me 4 hours to complete all task. I am not a plumber. So they should have been even faster. $505.00 an hour plus $89.00 just for showing up. This company is a ridiculously high.
