This company needs to rename itself JoshForce, because let's be honest, GreenForce ain't fooling…read moreanybody. Technician Josh McPhie is basically the John Wick of pest control. We had springtail bugs popping up everywhere, bouncing around like they just got VIP tickets to Coachella. I told Josh other companies came through, sprayed a little Febreze or whatever, and left us still living in Bugapalooza. Josh just smirked, cracked his knuckles like an action hero, and I told him, "Bring out the big guns." Army veteran? Say less, he knew exactly what that meant. Next thing I know, this dude is going full Rambo, spraying every hole, crack, and crevice like he's on a one-man mission to save the world. By the time he was done, the bugs weren't just gone, they called their little bug Uber to move zip codes. Josh is the GOAT. Super friendly, knowledgeable, thorough, and he doesn't leave until the job is DONE. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars? Because the company name is still GreenForce. Let's be real... JoshForce deserves its own franchise.

Both places were infested with fire ants, sugar ants, mosquitoes and other tiny pests. At the last place, the fire ants were throughout the house, even though there were no mounds outside. Each time I went out and got the best stuff the Big Box stores had to offer, but it was nothing but a temporary fix. Then we would call Cypress Creek, and they would fix the problem. They treated inside, outside, in attics and crawl spaces. They knew what to use and how much. I now save myself a ton of anxiety and hassle by just having them out quarterly. I also spend less than doing it myself.

They came the first time to set up the trap and told us they would return to retrieve the raccoon, if trapped. So we paid them $189 for this service. My husband was never told that additional fee ($65) would be collected for them to come back to retrieve the animal. The lady in the office claimed that was a misunderstanding. We would say this is a misleading or scam to customer. When we didn't agree to pay $65 for them to remove the raccoon, the tech said he would release the raccoon in our backyard!!!! After arguing with the tech and the lady in the office, he agreed to take the animal with him. We recommend not to use this company. If you are desperate to use them; make sure they spell out all the policies (fees, follow-up, warranty period, etc.) In writing.

We did not know being in a newer neighborhood, there would be so many ants because of surrounding construction. We called them in for the very first treatment and back again after our second treatment for a follow up because of the pesky ants. After the follow-up treatment, the ants disappeared. We got our third treatment today using these guys and they were so nice and patient with our dog; they really do work efficiently each time. I tried to contact other contractors, but Michael was the only one to respond immediately. He found a way to get on schedule asap. He completely an interior and exterior inspection, and found the hole in the softer area of the roof in minutes. He worked into the evening with absolute health and safety because he had to install the cage on the second story roof. He provided details to understand what we needed to do to catch the critter. Upon capture, he would be back to us asap with a gentle release. The cage was installed with quality around an 8 inch hole. Upon identifying that we were able to no longer have the animal in the house, Michael came back and performed excellent construction work to patch not only the hole, but the surrounding area . Overall, Michael's professionalism, quality of workmanship, responsiveness, fully transparent in explain all that needed to be done including cos that was reasonable, I made the right decision in hiring Michael's firm to handle a big problem. However, they were all better and willing to take care of my warrantied work. Much to my delight, they showed up on Aug. 8th and installed a one way trap over the problem area. They also used quite a bit of that black styrofoam sealant I've heard so much about in other reviews but whatever, it shouldn't be up long right? After install, they told me they'd be back in a week (unless we called them earlier if a squirrel was caught in trap). Great. Well, today is Sep. 5th (Happy Labor Day!) and I haven't heard a damn thing from anyone at Cypress Critters in a month. Maybe they got monkey pox this time? Is Ebola still around? Maybe the plague. Whatever the case, I didn't care to hear anymore excuses or waste another minute trying to get in touch with this unprofessional business. So, I pulled out my ladder, tore off their trap, scraped off all the black styrofoam sealant I could, and dealt with it myself. I'm probably better off, considering some of the god-awful work I've seen in other reviews. 0 stars. I won't be using them again and good riddance. I'd imagine there are much better options anywhere in Houston. Perhaps, other businesses in this field take pride in their work and honor their word. Perhaps.
