However, our party of four waited 50 minutes for our breakfast. Even coffee took quite a while to arrive. A canned coke was delivered 20 minutes after ordering. Three out of the four entrees were served after waiting for 50 minutes, the other one took an additional 5 minutes and we waited for another 5 minutes to receive the side. The food was mostly good - Omelet was chock full of meat and was delicious. Bacon was really good. Burger was average and fried chicken was kind of meh - crispy, but very dry. We did enjoy the live acoustic music. It was great to hear live music in the morning since most places only have it at night. However, the excessive wait for food really overshadowed the rest of our visit. Oh well.....

The carefully curated menu has all the classic breakfast and lunch staples - omelets, eggs, pancakes, etc, and for later in the day, soups, salad, sandwiches, pork chops, NY steak and even fried chicken! I ordered a breakfast sandwich with eggs over easy, and the bacon on the side, and everything arrived perfect and hot. Tender, crunchy, gooey deliciousness with the sandwich and bacon! The home fries were also tender on the inside with a delicate crust. Add salt if needed for that. I really liked how clean everything was here, and it was apparent that the owners take good care of their customers and establishment. Kudos! I'll definitely look to come back here next time I'm near!

Center Square Grill is such a nice restaurant, and we usually always have the best experience here…read more Which is why I was surprised and disappointed during my most recent visit. My steak was overcooked and the Brussels sprouts were hard and undercooked. At first, we told our waitress everything was okay, but after more discussion toward the end of the meal, we decided the expensive steak was truly overdone and mentioned it. Our waitress was incredibly apologetic and immediately offered to have a new steak made and to take it off the bill. The manager was also so helpful and amazing in making things right. Even though the meal itself wasn't up to their usual standard, the way the situation was handled proves exactly why we keep coming back. Truly impeccable service and still one of our favorite spots.

Upon arrival, we first noticed that it was a very clean and well organized store. Plenty of places to sit and a buzzing vibe with all sort of activities (phone ringing, orders being taken, orders going out, kitchen activity and lots of customers eating in) We arrived about 1pm so it was part of the lunch time rush. We ordered a cucumber salad, chicken panini with onions (I didnt realize that caramelized onions was an option!), The Green Goddess was delicious....with fresh veggies (spinach, mozzarella, ricotta and spinich with avocado and pesto) and incredible taste! Little Havana was our last choice and that included roasted pork, shaved ham, swiss cheese, pickles and dijon mustard. Again a big hit...delicious and some to take for later! We sat down and one of the tables and enjoyed our lunch and the incredible lunch crowd! Lots of drinks to choose from, as well. I am so glad that we made it here. Their menu is varied, there are many options to choose from. Vegetarian options are available, the food is fresh and they aren't skimpy on the portions. Prices are reasonable, and fair. I ordered the Banh Pho Xao, which is not the Pho soup, it's a fried noodle dish, with chicken. Fresh and delicious. The waitstaff was friendly, attentive, and courteous. Such nice people. I support local businesses, this restaurant is owned by local folks, and is a gem in the neighbourhood. Parking is free, there's a parking lot in the front, and also free parking is available on the street. I don't drive, and if you don't either, fear not! The PVTA G1 bus will take you right up there. Get off at Sumner and White St, and it's a short walk to Soc Trang from there. And to get back to Union Station, cross White St, to the PVTA kiosk, and take the G1 back to Union Station. This restaurant serves food all day, there's no closure of the kitchen between lunch and dinner, so if you're hungry at 3:30 in the afternoon like I was, you won't have to worry about seeing a "Closed until 5" sign. The restaurant itself is clean, and well organised. It's family friendly, and from what I saw, there's room for parties, family gatherings, or small receptions. There was a large fish tank, which was very clean, with peaceful, healthy fish swimming around. All in all, a very pleasant experience!
