I also got the edamame which came plain or possibly lightly salted - either way I put my roasted garlic blend on them at home. They seemed fresh and popped at the right time if you know what I mean. The rice wasn't full of the usual stuff you see in a lot of like foods around here. That stuck out to me. The boneless spare ribs weren't dripping in sauce which was nice. They also were also not dried out the next day for leftovers. I'd say this place is def worthy of the high reviews they've received lately! Seems unassuming from the outside- a bit smoky inside but not the burning smoky- a stir fry smoky!

Chicken Feet in Black Bean Sauce and Fatty Pork Ribs, and Sole Filet in a Fried Thin Rice Wrap are still excellent. They understand what you're asking for (I've been to places where they just want you to list off the item #s from the menu), will answer questions, and even sometimes clarify what you're asking for (my fav is the chicken chow mei fun and they always make sure I know it comes with the thin "spaghetti" noodles (they say that, but it's really thin rice noodles)). The chow mei fun does not contain as many greens as I like (contains shredded carrot, onion, mung bean sprouts, and bamboo shoots) so I always add a package of steamed peas to it which makes the quantity of the food large enough for 2 meals. The egg and chicken in it are plentiful and delicious. My partner goes with the combo General Tso's chicken which comes with an egg roll and pork fried rice, which he loves. I did try crab rangoon from here recently and was not enchanted; it was like a fried pocket full of hot cream cheese. Overall a consistently good to-go dining experience at a fair price.
