I ordered several items and nearly all of them were inedible. The crab rangoons, were dry and had the consistency of cardboard. The beef stick, sesame noodles, and barbecued pork ribs were extremely sweet...barely any salt to counterbalance the flavor. The pork eggroll was ok. The batter on the fried shrimp was way too thick. Some pretty good Chinese takeout. I got the hunan beef lunch special and it came with fried rice and a soup. Good portions and taste for the price. This was my first time ordering from here based on the Yelp reviews. I decided to order the combination moo goo gai pan which comes with pork friend rice & an egg roll. I also ordered a small chicken Lo Mein. I loved the chicken Lo Mein. They did a fantastic job preparing it. It had great flavor & contained fresh veggies & white meat chicken. It was cooked perfectly. It wasn't greasy either. The pork fried rice was fine but a bit dry & not overly flavorful although it was freshly prepared & had bits of bbq pork in it. It really could've used a bit of spice to make it more flavorful. The moo goo gai pan was very good. It had fresh veggies & white meat chicken but it really needed more garlic. Next time I will request extra garlic. All the dishes were piping hot. The portions were extremely generous. The staff was very nice, friendly, efficient & helpful. Very solid place for takeout chiense standards. Lunch specials are around 8 bucks, very villing and come with soup or egg roll. The lady at the counter was friendly, thr food was ready on time. Good reliable Chinese take out. This is no place to eat in. They do not have tables and seating. They do a very good takeout business they are always busy when I go to pick up my food. Last time I was there I got the chicken lo mein combination plate with fried rice and egg roll. And I thought there's no way I'm going to eat all this it's too much food. I may be spoiled but we ordered General Tso chicken, sweet and sour chicken, teriyaki beef on stick, boneless spareribs, and hot and sour soup. When I say barely edible I mean it, the soup smelled and tasted like a wet boot. The egg rolls were the highlight. We had bones in the boneless spareribs, which like everything else lacked any flavor , the beef in stick was a whiter shade of pale, and hardly edible. This place is not bad, just run of the mill. Always an effort to get combination plates to look like their menu. General Chao and sesame chicken are interchangeable. I go to Great Wall every time I come home. The General Tso's chicken is great. Any of the lunch specials are a great value with fried rice and soup or egg roll.
