Our former groomer has retired, and we had heard good things about The Happy Hound. Wow! This place did not just do a good job, they blew my socks off! They did a fantastic job with everything! They bathed him, dried him, groomed him, trimmed his feet with love, and when we picked him up, he had a little bandanna on and was wagging his little docked tail with happiness. I can tell that he actually had a good time getting groomed here. He looks and smells great, and is totally happy. The Happy Hound is clean, professional, and staffed with people who really love animals. We have found a new groomer, and I am just totally stoked! I realize it's just our first visit, but trust me - I have been around the block when it comes to dogs and groomers. This place is solid! I recommend The Happy Hound 100%. My husband and I have used this particular Camp Bow Wow in Ross Township since 2022. For roughly two years, we kept our English bulldog Olive here for occasional daycare and boarding. The employees seemed to always treat her nicely, and she seemed to enjoy her time here, although sometimes tall dogs would pee on her! I did notice that many prescription pills for anxiety and incontinence were not administered and were returned to us, but her health was fine, other than contracting kennel cough and an eye infection from other dogs one time. In 2026, we took our French bulldog Daisy here for a free "interview" for a few hours or so to make sure that she interacted well with the humans and other dogs. My husband and I were able to log into the Camp Bow Wow app on our phones to view Daisy running around. Sometimes the videos did not load well, but we were able to see enough. Update: Daisy has spent several days of daycare here, and she seems happy to see the humans and dogs.

This was my first time at Camp Bow Bow to get my dog groomed…read more I walked in and every one was very nice and helpful. The person who was going to groom my dog was also very nice and I went over what needed to be done and what not to do as far as cutting hair. I left and came back after about 4 hours to get our golden. I found that too much hair was cut off, He did not look like a golden retriever at all. My mistake wa not saying anything to the groomer at all about to much hair being cut off especially when I said something before I dropped him off. I will go back to Camp Bow Wow but I will only have them do a bath trim feet and brush teeth. the staff where super friendly and for that I would have given them 4 stars, But since he was not groomed as per my instructions I give them 3.

As an owner of an athletic / energetic breed, I'm not sure if we will continue to pay for a mere 20 minutes when many other insured Pittsburgh companies charge the same price for 30 or even 45-minute visits. We still love the people behind Two Dads, and continue to support them, but they are now seemingly out of our budget.

She made us feel at ease the entire time, knowing that the cats were well taken care of. She was in constant communication, sending pictures of our cats and letting us know how the visits went. She followed all of our specific instructions perfectly. I found her to be trustworthy and pleasurable to work with. I honestly think this service is a bargain, especially considering the alternatives (such as boarding). The cats get to stay in a more comfortable environment with a ton of personalized attention.  Its great to know that I can 100% rely on this service the next time I need to leave town.
