I have stayed with her but now I cannot. I called the day before my appointment for my female Airedale terrier this week. She's raised her prices again and I wanted to know the price. She quoted me $85 which as a $20 jump but I accepted it. The morning of the appointment my girl came in with small burr seeds in her coat. I spent some time brushing her legs and belly as well as beard to remove the bulk of them, her torso too but it is quite short cut. My dogs are very active but given the dry hot weather (and fact I've showered them numerous times to cool them off) she was not that dirty since there's no mud to get into as she loves to do. I dropped her off with clipping instructions to take her a bit shorter on her legs. When I arrived to pick her up I was charged $107. This is the second time with has been done to me and this time it was a slap in the face given I called the day before for the price. (I was charged $20 extra another time for my boy which I thought was slimy business practices. Dogs are dirty, groomers clean dogs. That's your business, right?) I protested the extra charge. The girl said "I talked to Rachel, had to bath her twice and she was matted). Bull. She was not matted as I brushed her before I brought her. She shouldn't have needed two baths if she was bathed properly the first time. And she says the new cut took longer. If you don't know a proper groom for an Airedale that is your problem. You are dog groomers who should know your business. And she nicked Mina's private parts in the process. I met a woman right after at another groomers I stopped at on the way home who also used to go the GT with Jen but found Rachel's grooming skills and professionalism lacking. Long story short. I'm done. I will not go back. You're a business owner but won't be for long at this rate, Rachel. Ps. I just got off the phone with Rachel. Although I was told the additional bathe I was charged extra now is standard - she said and I quote 'we bath all dogs twice; b) that the $85 was just a 'base price' so any additional charges- beware! They can charge what they like. And then she hung up on me.

I was looking into different grooming places in the area because my Italian Greyhound's nails…read moreneeded cut so badly, and I just had to take him here based on all of the good reviews (both on here and on Google). I gave them a call, and they said I could walk in any time for a nail trim, so I took him almost immediately after I called! Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions, I could not go inside, but the owner (I believe) helped me out so much from outside. It was very quick and painless, and Spencer came out looking like a new man. As I got my wallet out to pay, the owner kindly said this first one would be on him (a nail trim is normally $15). I will absolutely be back here the next time Spencer needs a nail trim or any other grooming need solely because the owner was so kind to me. They've been in business for 19 years, so they know how to take care of their customers and pets! Definitely consider this place for your pets' grooming needs.

So, when it was time to find groomer for my 3 mth pooch,I wanted to find someone perfect! Unfortunately a search on yelp for local pet groomers did not bring me much luck. Thankfully though, while driving thru Bridgeville I chanced upon Precious Paws. With no reviews to provide any guidance,I decided to give this place a shot. During my call to schedule an appointment, I spoke to Mike, the owner. Realizing how clueless I was about my pooch's needs,Mike asked me to drop in with my pup so that we could address what needed to be done.... I was soo grateful for that! I couldn't differentiate between a puppy cut Vs regular cut or how I would like the hair on his face cut( umm..short) to if I wanted his teeth brushed( huh? Sure!) During our visit Mike proved to me extremely knowledgable, friendly & reassuring. He guided me through what might work best for my pup without being overtly aggressive. Sometimes, it is great to have someone help navigate thru unchartered territories. My pooch even got a complimentary nail trim while there. On the day of his grooming, post session,I came in to find a perfectly trimmed little pup who was too busy playing with the other dogs in the salon to even notice I hadn't been there all this time! Mike kept a close eye on him knowing it was our first time which made the experience all the better. Overall: I'm glad I had Mike & Precious Paws to help groom my pooch... Now thanks to them I know how I like my pup's facial hair cut! :))

Marcelo and his team were always so warm and welcoming. My little Bug just adores him. Whenever its time to go back, if we so much as mention his name, she starts to wiggle and wag. She nearly jumps out of my arms every time she sees him. And what can i say about her hair when she's done...she looks gorgeous! Zoe is a little tomboy, always eager to keep up with her brother; Yorkie owners will understand how difficult rough-housing is on their dos! But without fail, Marcelo works out every tangle, primps and punes and waa-laa, our little princess is back! We adopted Zoe's brother Wasabi last year, an 8 week old silver and gold Teacup Yorkie. 'Sabi is a challenge and a half! He has enough energy to power the City and I was worried about how'd he do at his sister's favorite 'spa'. I must admit he gave Marcelo a headache the first visit. But he was nothing but patient, kind and kept on working. Marcelo's care and passion for what he does, continues to help 'Sabi get comfortable with all the new sights, sounds and someone playing with his paws. I am so grateful for him sticking with our little firecracker who is settling in nicely. Just love this place. Will never go anywhere else!
