Our former groomer has retired, and we had heard good things about The Happy Hound. Wow! This place did not just do a good job, they blew my socks off! They did a fantastic job with everything! They bathed him, dried him, groomed him, trimmed his feet with love, and when we picked him up, he had a little bandanna on and was wagging his little docked tail with happiness. I can tell that he actually had a good time getting groomed here. He looks and smells great, and is totally happy. The Happy Hound is clean, professional, and staffed with people who really love animals. We have found a new groomer, and I am just totally stoked! I realize it's just our first visit, but trust me - I have been around the block when it comes to dogs and groomers. This place is solid! I recommend The Happy Hound 100%. They are so cool - they even gave him a free toy to celebrate his first visit.

I asked a few other people about this grooming job who are groomers and they all agreed that this wasn't okay. And said the same thing I said if they weren't sure they should've called me. When I dropped off cuddles the lady asked me "same as last time" I said absolutely" I was surprised they remembered. Well upon my return I noticed they just cut all her hair off around her face (you can see the first photo is what they gave me last time, in the other photographs that was from Sunday) the lady who gave her back to me said well I just went off the card and it said round face I didn't groom her the first time ... even if you look at the second photo she didn't give her round face. When brought to this businesses attention you can read the correspondence which is absolutely the worst customer service I've ever received. The dog wasn't groomed right, she wasn't bathed and my husband pointed out they didn't even cut her nails. Now before anyone can say matter hair or hair loss cuddles is a Pomeranian mix and her fur is exactly that of that breed, full and fluffy. She has not suffered from any type of hair loss to warrant this type of grooming. They are refusing a refund but want me to bring her back again for free. Which to me is a horrible business practice. Messing up on a service but not even partially refunding me but want me to bring my dog back for a free session doesn't even make any sense. I am not happy and I am disputing the charge because it was a horrible job and horrible customer service after the fact!

She was a bit nervous at first, but the groomer was very patient and friendly to get her to warm up to him. The full service bath includes a double bath with shampoo, deshedding, and conditioner, nail trim, and ear clean. It's great to get everything done and clean all at once. They had my dog for about 2 hours, which they conveniently texted me 30mins prior to her being ready so I could pick her up on time. She looks great, her fur super fluffy, and smells amazing! The groomer said she did a great job and only got spooked a bit by the nail dremel, but they gave her food before and after to help her be comfortable. I'm very happy with how everything turned out and the least amount of stress on my dog. Highly Recommend!

Marcelo and his team were always so warm and welcoming. My little Bug just adores him. Whenever its time to go back, if we so much as mention his name, she starts to wiggle and wag. She nearly jumps out of my arms every time she sees him. And what can i say about her hair when she's done...she looks gorgeous! Zoe is a little tomboy, always eager to keep up with her brother; Yorkie owners will understand how difficult rough-housing is on their dos! But without fail, Marcelo works out every tangle, primps and punes and waa-laa, our little princess is back! We adopted Zoe's brother Wasabi last year, an 8 week old silver and gold Teacup Yorkie. 'Sabi is a challenge and a half! He has enough energy to power the City and I was worried about how'd he do at his sister's favorite 'spa'. I must admit he gave Marcelo a headache the first visit. But he was nothing but patient, kind and kept on working. Marcelo's care and passion for what he does, continues to help 'Sabi get comfortable with all the new sights, sounds and someone playing with his paws. Very cordial when showing up. Respectful with our dog before bringing her to van. Says the appointment would take about 2 hours based on our dog's shaking and fear levels and it did take that long, so she knew her stuff. Most importantly, she delivered our dog with fur that was soooo soft, smelling terrific, and she looked normal. *No eyelashes were cut off. Didn't give 5 stars because she was one hour late from our agreed upon appointment and she didn't communicate with me leaving me to wonder if we miscommunicated, or if she'd be a no show...

Karen was able to get my three dogs in relatively quickly even though coronavirus was happening. She took her time to introduce herself to my dog, making her and I both feel comfortable before I left her to be groomed. My pup looks amazing and smells amazing!
