Our former groomer has retired, and we had heard good things about The Happy Hound. Wow! This place did not just do a good job, they blew my socks off! They did a fantastic job with everything! They bathed him, dried him, groomed him, trimmed his feet with love, and when we picked him up, he had a little bandanna on and was wagging his little docked tail with happiness. I can tell that he actually had a good time getting groomed here. He looks and smells great, and is totally happy. The Happy Hound is clean, professional, and staffed with people who really love animals. We have found a new groomer, and I am just totally stoked! I realize it's just our first visit, but trust me - I have been around the block when it comes to dogs and groomers. This place is solid! I recommend The Happy Hound 100%. They are so cool - they even gave him a free toy to celebrate his first visit.

She was a bit nervous at first, but the groomer was very patient and friendly to get her to warm up to him. The full service bath includes a double bath with shampoo, deshedding, and conditioner, nail trim, and ear clean. It's great to get everything done and clean all at once. They had my dog for about 2 hours, which they conveniently texted me 30mins prior to her being ready so I could pick her up on time. She looks great, her fur super fluffy, and smells amazing! The groomer said she did a great job and only got spooked a bit by the nail dremel, but they gave her food before and after to help her be comfortable. I'm very happy with how everything turned out and the least amount of stress on my dog. Highly Recommend!

Before North Bark, we took our dog to a previous place about 3-4 times and the lady there took…read moreanywhere from 2-5 hours. It was expensive but she did a decent job. However, every time we went there she was rather rude and even scolded us as dog parents about how we weren't brushing our dog enough. (We try our best to brush him but he absolutely hates being brushed and groomed in any way.) Given how expensive they were, we didn't want to pay to have someone take our dog for such a long time and also make us feel guilty about him after the service so we had to look elsewhere and am so grateful for my husband that he found North Bark. Carly has now been our dog's official groomer for a few months and she's wonderful. I'm always shocked when she says he was fine and a good boy because at home he won't let anyone near him with a brush and he'll go crazy. (Taking him to the groomers in the car is stressful because he'll whine very loudly the whole way there.) I love that she is completely honest about what she can or can't do with him on a particular day when he's especially squirmy. Regardless, our dog always looks amazing every single time! And she doesn't scold us! The whole staff is wonderful and full of smiles and very polite. Service is a bit pricey but worth it (Nail trim and haircut). We have and will continue to book appointments with Carly for our dog. Thanks to everyone at North Bark for the hard work you guys do!

She knows exactly how to handle his quirks, keeps him calm, and somehow manages to send him home looking better than I do after a salon appointment. Carly is consistently kind, patient, and genuinely caring -- not just with Ziggy, but with us as well. It's rare to find someone who understands your dog the way you do, and she absolutely does. Says the appointment would take about 2 hours based on our dog's shaking and fear levels and it did take that long, so she knew her stuff. Didn't give 5 stars because she was one hour late from our agreed upon appointment and she didn't communicate with me leaving me to wonder if we miscommunicated, or if she'd be a no show...

Cecil had a thoughtful training plan to meet my goals. Let's be honest - he was training ME, not the dog. Any products he recommended were available through Unleashed and were competitively priced. The layout of the facility was very helpful - especially in our early days when we weren't quite ready for interactions with other dogs. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to use Unleashed for grooming, day care, or boarding if needed in the future.

I saw a dog in a cage in the pouring rain crying. I went inside for my dog and told the young lady and young man inside about the dog crying in the rain. The girl responded oh that's because it is pick up time. The young man left. I thought that he was going to get the dog crying outside in the rain. Well he didn't. As I left I could hear the dog still. So I went to check. And yep he was still there. How horrible! The owner should be infuriated.
