I called to schedule home service care for my two cats for a total of 3 days (July 10 to 12, 2021)…read more Christina and Jen came out to my home to meet the cats and so I could show them where the food, litter, and treats were located. At that time the assured me that they would come for the scheduled days and send me pictures or updates regarding my cats. When I left home on Friday I left out 2 bowls of water and 4 dishes of food. Every day that I was away I received pictures and/or updates about my cats via text message. When I arrived home Monday evening (July 12th), both bowls of water only had water covering the bottom and the food was only covering the bottom of ALL 4 food dishes. I have left my cats alone for 2 days in the past, with no one coming into the home to check on them, with the same set up of food and water(2 water bowls and 4 dishes of food). After 2 days of the cats being alone in the past, all of the bowls would still be about 80% full when I returned home. That was not the case when I returned after 4 days away with people supposedly caring for my pets. There is no way that they were filling their food and water daily, like I had contacted for them to do. I was very disappointed, but decided to just pay my bill and move on. I recently requested my keys back and they informed me they would be sent back via certified mail and there was a $20 charge to mail them per our contract. The same contract that stated the cats would be cared for daily. Their audacity in asking for $20 to get my keys back is what prompted me to leave this rating. I normally do not write reviews, but I wanted to warn others who care for their pets as much as I do, to BEWARE OF THIS SERVICE.

Our former groomer has retired, and we had heard good things about The Happy Hound. Wow! This place did not just do a good job, they blew my socks off! They did a fantastic job with everything! They bathed him, dried him, groomed him, trimmed his feet with love, and when we picked him up, he had a little bandanna on and was wagging his little docked tail with happiness. I can tell that he actually had a good time getting groomed here. He looks and smells great, and is totally happy. The Happy Hound is clean, professional, and staffed with people who really love animals. We have found a new groomer, and I am just totally stoked! This store offers the following products and services: supplies for dogs and cats (e.g., foods, treats, toys, apparel, supplements, beds, bowls, collars, leashes, shampoos, and dental products), bird cages and seed, fish food and aquarium supplies, reptile food and habitats, live fish and other small pets, dog washing and grooming, etcetera. When I entered this store, an employee immediately and kindly greeted me. I walked around the store to browse the merchandise. Most of the products were for dogs. I was shopping for my cats, and I selected a collar and three containers of wet food to buy. The cashier immediately and accurately rang up my purchase and wished me a good day. I deducted half of a star from my review because the prices were a little higher than what a competing online retailer charges. Finally, I read on the website about the Pet Supplies Plus Recycling Program: "We accept all flexible plastic pet food, treat and litter bag packaging, from ALL brands, across ALL species, purchased from ANY retailer...Look for specially marked recycling boxes inside your neighborhood Pet Supplies Plus store." What a fantastic program! I will no longer have to throw my pet-food bags and litter bags into the trash.
