Nice folks. Cat nail trimming was quick and reasonable! It seems like walk-ins are welcome.

Call answered by Ai, don't call back Let my dog sit 3 hours…read more(at least) before starting his appointment 1:00, last one out at 5:00 while she took walk ins and finished them before my dog Charged $30.00 above published price with not much of an explanation ($100.00 is way too much for a small dog!) Tried to talk to owner who just gave excuses. The two walk in's cost $6.00 less than my one dog No satisfaction at all! If I could give minus 5 I would! Rachael is not a good business person, she has a lot to learn!

I went to Groomer's Touch for about 10 years. It was great when Jen was the owner. Now that Rachel…read morehas taken over it appears she not a good business person. I have stayed with her but now I cannot. I called the day before my appointment for my female Airedale terrier this week. She's raised her prices again and I wanted to know the price. She quoted me $85 which as a $20 jump but I accepted it. The morning of the appointment my girl came in with small burr seeds in her coat. I spent some time brushing her legs and belly as well as beard to remove the bulk of them, her torso too but it is quite short cut. My dogs are very active but given the dry hot weather (and fact I've showered them numerous times to cool them off) she was not that dirty since there's no mud to get into as she loves to do. I dropped her off with clipping instructions to take her a bit shorter on her legs. When I arrived to pick her up I was charged $107. This is the second time with has been done to me and this time it was a slap in the face given I called the day before for the price. (I was charged $20 extra another time for my boy which I thought was slimy business practices. Dogs are dirty, groomers clean dogs. That's your business, right?) I protested the extra charge. The girl said "I talked to Rachel, had to bath her twice and she was matted). Bull. She was not matted as I brushed her before I brought her. She shouldn't have needed two baths if she was bathed properly the first time. And she says the new cut took longer. If you don't know a proper groom for an Airedale that is your problem. You are dog groomers who should know your business. And she nicked Mina's private parts in the process. I met a woman right after at another groomers I stopped at on the way home who also used to go the GT with Jen but found Rachel's grooming skills and professionalism lacking. Long story short. I'm done. I will not go back. You're a business owner but won't be for long at this rate, Rachel. Ps. I just got off the phone with Rachel. Although I was told the additional bathe I was charged extra now is standard - she said and I quote 'we bath all dogs twice; b) that the $85 was just a 'base price' so any additional charges- beware! They can charge what they like. And then she hung up on me.

Our cat Roo stayed at Puppourri Pet Resort from September 26-29, 2025, and when we picked her up,…read moreshe had a large untreated wound across her upper back and neck. We had to rush her straight to the emergency vet because she was bleeding, in pain, and terrified. The manager later admitted that Roo was kept isolated and wasn't given her prescribed daily medication while she was there. We were never called or informed that anything had happened to her. No one reached out to tell us that our cat was hurt, covered in blood, and needed medical care. The emergency vet confirmed that her injury was serious and required immediate treatment. She now needs her bandages changed and wound care every two days, and we still don't know how long it will take for her to heal. So far, we've spent over $2,000 trying to save her. We've filed complaints with the PA Department of Agriculture (Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement), the local SPCA/Humane Law Enforcement, and other agencies, and are pursuing legal action so no other family or pet has to go through something like this. Please double-check that any boarding facility you trust with your pets is licensed, inspected, and properly trained to handle medication and emergencies. Our sweet Roo is suffering, and we just want to make sure what happened to her never happens again.

Pet Owners: Please Read Before Boarding at Puppourri Pet Resort…read more Our cat was boarded at Puppourri Pet Resort from September 26-29, 2025. When we picked her up, she had a large untreated wound extending across her upper back and neck area, serious enough that we had to take her directly to the emergency veterinary hospital. The Manager of Puppourri has acknowledged that during her stay, our cat was kept isolated ("locked up") and did not receive her prescribed daily medication. We were never contacted or informed about her condition while she was in their care. They did not bother to call us to let us know she was covered in blood, in pain, and alone. They did not even try to get her any kind of help whatsoever and instead locked her up. The Emergency veterinarian confirmed that the injury required immediate medical treatment and that she continues to need ongoing wound care. She requires veterinarian care every 2 days so far and we do not know if our kitten will survive or not. We have spent over $2,000 since she was injured at Puppourri Pet Resort. We want to do our part to ensure that no Pet is mistreated and neglected and we have filed complaints with the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement), the local SPCA/Humane Law Enforcement, and other agencies, and are taking legal action to help ensure no other pet endures something like this. Please verify that any boarding facility you use is properly licensed, regularly inspected, and trained to handle medication administration and emergencies before leaving your animal in their care. Our sweet little kitten is suffering.
