He said she needed her acl repaired. I was extremely worried and apprehensive about this surgery. Dr G not only explained the process but also showed me videos on the outcome that Annie could have. She had the surgery and I can tell you the 1st week was rough, but by the 2nd week she was using her leg with full weight. I followed the after care to a T and we are 4 weeks out and she's doing amazingly well. I can absolutely recommend Dr G and everyone at the Rainbow Pet Care Center!

**My dog (90lb mix) had TPLO surgery at Rainbow Veterinary Hospital about a month ago**…read more After confirming with my normal vet that my dog had torn his ACL, I was trying to do as much research on the injury as possible. My vet referred me to a different practice, but I noticed all of the super positive TPLO reviews about Dr. Giri and his staff. We are a month past his surgery and my dog is doing great! I could not recommend Dr. Giri more. You can really tell that he cares about your dog and that he wants the dog to get better. If you need anything, he will personally call you back. He always took the time to answer all of my questions and give me guidance for my dog's recovery. Dr. Giri is also very upfront about pricing from the start and the pricing doesn't change, which allowed me to focus on my dog's recovery and not worry about additional bills. Fingers crossed that we will not have to do my dog's other ACL, but I would definitely bring him back to Dr. Giri. I would also recommend him to any family/friends.

Great place to board your pet. Staff are extremely friendly, and are obviously pet lovers…read more We had previously tried once or twice to board our suspicious dog, who absolutely hated the experiences, even in a nice facility at our vet's - ultimately, we had to enlist the services of a pet sitter to care for her whenever we would go out of town. One of our friends recommended this place to us for boarding and for grooming, and I must say we have never been disappointed! They have multiple options for your pet, including private "luxury" rooms, which were a good way to get our dog used to the place and staff - now she is in their "standard" rooms whenever she stays, and is very happy and relaxed when we go to pick her up. We can just tell that she has a good time when she stays here. The grooming is excellent as well - we always have them give her a bath and clip her nails the day we are to pick her up, and we have been quite pleased with her overall care here. It's not that easy to get to if you live in town, but it's well worth the trip. Will definitely continue to make this our go-to place for pet boarding needs!

Our cat Roo stayed at Puppourri Pet Resort from September 26-29, 2025, and when we picked her up,…read moreshe had a large untreated wound across her upper back and neck. We had to rush her straight to the emergency vet because she was bleeding, in pain, and terrified. The manager later admitted that Roo was kept isolated and wasn't given her prescribed daily medication while she was there. We were never called or informed that anything had happened to her. No one reached out to tell us that our cat was hurt, covered in blood, and needed medical care. The emergency vet confirmed that her injury was serious and required immediate treatment. She now needs her bandages changed and wound care every two days, and we still don't know how long it will take for her to heal. So far, we've spent over $2,000 trying to save her. We've filed complaints with the PA Department of Agriculture (Bureau of Dog Law Enforcement), the local SPCA/Humane Law Enforcement, and other agencies, and are pursuing legal action so no other family or pet has to go through something like this. Please double-check that any boarding facility you trust with your pets is licensed, inspected, and properly trained to handle medication and emergencies. Our sweet Roo is suffering, and we just want to make sure what happened to her never happens again.

I've been going to Amy for grooming for 14 years. I currently have two small dogs, our last two…read moregrooming experiences at Bow Wow Styles have been terrible. in May I had both dogs in for grooming, when picking them up Amy got very upset with my toy poodle because she had peed in the crate. puppy was only 8 months old and had been at the Salon for 3 hours and not been taken out. It was Amy's idea to bring both dogs at the same time but I had no idea they wouldn't have the opportunity to relieve themselves. Well this week, I had both littles in to Bow Wow dropped off at 3:00pm was told to pick them up at 6:00. when we got there Amy was still cutting the toy poodle and the shihtzu was in the crate and crying. I asked one of the other groomers to please get Shihtzu out of crate so I could take him outside to walk. when the groomer was getting Shihtzu out of crate. Amy yelled at the poodle and said that's what I didn't want you to do. Next thing I knew Amy grabbed the poodles leash off the wall and yelled, I'm done, I'm done. She shoved the poodle and leash in my husbands arm and told him to take her! Had we not already paid I wouldnt have paid. Amy used to get upset with our now deceased labradoodle and once cut him in the rectal area requiring stitches. I've always tried to stay loyal to Amy she was my first groomer when moving here 15 years ago. Now it's my turn to say, I'm done! I will not ever be going back. Her website is also deceiving stating they sell stuffies, treats etc. My advice if looking for someone with patience for your furries this is not the place for you.
