Went driving around, saw this place off Camp Bowie. I pulled in, all the lights were out. I walked up to the door to check their hours and a young man started walking towards me. He said, what do you need? I said, a state inspection. He said, I can do that in 10 minutes. He also said, he was going to take his little brother Trick or Treating but, he said it can wait. Lol. So, he helped me right away! Thank you, Jesus! That's what you call A+ customer service. Chris really represented A plus Auto centers. Outstanding Customer Service!…read more I just want to say that this was one of the most wonderful experiences I've ever had when getting an oil change. I went in on Saturday, August 15, 2026, knowing that I needed an oil change, oil filter, and engine air filter. I had also gone a little over on my air filter, and my check engine light had recently come on. I had already checked my truck on the diagnostic machine at work and knew everything was okay--the air filter was simply due to be changed. Honestly, I went in expecting that I might get the usual upsell: someone telling me I needed a diagnostic test, additional services, or repairs that I didn't actually need. That never happened. The young man who helped me, Ethan, was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and honest. He checked my A/C cabin filter, showed it to me, and explained that it should be replaced. I said, "Okay, let's get it done." And that was it. He never once tried to upsell me on anything else. I got my keys and left. I drove to pick up my daughter, and after the truck completed its normal reset, the check engine light went off--just as I knew it would. I actually went back afterward because I wanted to thank Ethan personally and give him a well-deserved tip. That's how impressed I was with the service. If you're looking for a place where you can get a good oil change, be treated with respect, and not be pressured into buying a bunch of things you don't need, come here and ask for Ethan. He's awesome! And I also want to give a shout-out to the gentleman at the register. He was great as well. Honest service, knowledgeable employees, and no unnecessary upselling. That's the kind of customer service that deserves recognition.

I can't say enough good things about Express Lube and Car Care in Haltom City…read more On a Sunday afternoon, our car broke down while my family of 6 and I were traveling and still five hours from home. To make things worse, at one point we even locked the keys inside the car. It was one of those days you just don't forget. The entire team stepped up in a huge way. They helped us get the car unlocked, made multiple trips to the parts store, and even stayed late past closing on a Sunday evening just so we could get back on the road and make it home that night. They were so patient and kind with us -- especially with our kids -- which meant more than they probably realize during such a stressful day. What really surprised me was the bill at the end. With all the extra effort and the situation we were in, they absolutely could have charged a fortune. Instead, the price was more than fair and honestly much less than I expected. If we lived anywhere near Haltom City, they would be our go-to shop without question. Truly good people who care about their customers. Highly recommend!

Oil changes are expensive now. They are like, $69.98 I found this place on Groupon for a much lower…read moreprice and the reviews were good so, I decided to give it a go. I had an interesting experience. Let me tell you about it. I called and asked if, I could drop off my SUV. He said, they are already full. He offered to get me in at 8am or in the afternoon the next day. I said, I'd be there in the afternoon. I went up there and he said, they were full, then another guy said , they were full too. So, that left me w the impression they didn't want to do it that day. I decided, I wouldn't push it but, I did let one of the guys know. He told me to come back at 3ish. I did and he wasn't there but the other guy took care of it. There was one other car ahead of me and then he said , he would get to my vehicle and it would take 45m. He timed it perfectly. I was thankful about his honesty regarding wait time and completing the Oil Change in 45. The waiting room is small with a few chairs inside and is not that cool. It may be because it's a window ac. Also,They have not paid their Netflix account so, you can't watch Netflix but they have Tubi and Roku. There was a Nigerian lady talking on speaker phone and another guy complaining about how he should have been informed about the services before being charged. I agree w him. I brought it to the service advisor's attention that, I may not need an Oil change. I just assumed so because, my maintenance light was on. He said, he would check it . I expected him to explain why it needed to be changed or show me but, he didn't? He changed it and I found out, it didn't need to be changed. My oil is changed every 10k miles. I didn't receive a receipt either. I don't know what kind of oil was used, how many qts were used. He also removed my oil reminder stickers wo asking. I wanted those for my records. He also, messed with my dimmer knob so my Control Panel was dim. Ugg, so uncomfortable. The Service Advisor was knowledgeable with Groupon too that's a plus. Their Internet was slow so, I had to go outside to redeem by Groupon. Also, the parking lot is pretty full so space can be tight. The music is cranked up load in the shop too. So, if your ok with this type of atmosphere come here. If, not look elsewhere.

Called up there and they said "thats 6 months, our warranty is like 5 months"; Of course I'm being told the warranty is shorter than the period since they've "repaired it". The mechanic I just went to (Bk auto repair) insures a 2 year warranty or 10000 miles. So I guess pick your mechanics who will actually fix things, and if something goes wrong on their part, fixes it right again.
