After being abandoned and taken to the cleaners by the Totally Useless franchise, P.C. Laptops came to my rescue ten years ago. The folks there in Riverdale are GREAT !. I'm now on my second mega computer built by them. Third if you count the one built by T.U. that never worked right. That one was completely overhauled by the awesome Mr. Fox and the crew at P.C . Laptops back in 2004. In 2007, I decided to upgrade from rebuilt T.U. machine. Got a P. C. Laptop Titan, Worked great for 7 years, other than a couple hard drive that I wore out, they were replaced and labor covered under warranty. Now it will continue to be used as second work station. Finally decided to break down and upgrade from Windows XP before support ended. Being in the engineering design / drafting industry, I need/ want /desire as much speed and stability as possible. So I stopped by the Riverdale store two or three times last week to discuss options. Kept trying to make up my mind on what I could afford and what was the best work station available. Wasted bunches of their time. Never once felt pressured into anything. Nick, Shaun, and all the rest were patient and extremely helpful, answering all my questions. Got a great deal on one of the Decimator towers and dual 30" display's. AWESOME machine. Worked with Nick all day setting it up, looking over his shoulder, being a pest. Loading Autocad and dealing with its issues, along with all my other software and transferring old data from my existing computer. Nick didn't quit till every question was answered and I was completely satisfied and comfortable. The man didn't even stop for lunch. Since then Nick and the others have helped me over the phone a bunch of times with display and mouse tweaks here at my office. Great experience in communication and customer service from my point of view. Every time I've called P.C. Laptops in the last 10 years, whoever answers is helpful and friendly. PC Laptops and their amazing crew are simply fabulous. I've been a loyal customer since 2003. Between buying computers for my business and home, I have purchased over 10 of their fabulous machines... some very high end, and some not so much. But no matter how fancy a system I buy, the quality of the service has remained top-of-the-line. To be honest, I was a little hesitant about purchasing the first computer from them. The cost of the machine was more than if I bought on-line or from a big tech store. However, it would be worth it if their Lifetime Service Warrantee was true. But was it going to be true? Would they follow through on their promise? Oh my gosh, they have done more than I could have ever expected. The PC Laptops team is very skilled, friendly, patient, and enthusiastic. They love helping people with their computers. They start with such high quality parts, that their computers rarely require service. But, on the rare occasion when something does go wrong, they take care of it painlessly. For example, the CD/DVD drive on one of my desktop computers stopped working after two years. It was replaced at absolutely no cost to me. Also, they don't charge a penny to do things like move all your data from an older computer to your new one, load all your software on the new computer, tune-up your computer so it runs at its fastest, etc. When the Windows operating system inevitably glitches, PC Laptops is there to save the day by cheerfully accepting the challenge of figuring out what went wrong and fixing it, totally free. The utter and complete peace of mind that PC Laptops offers is SO WORTH the little bit of extra you pay at the time of purchase. It came time for the Webroot antivirus and malware programs to expire that were installed when I bought my new desktop from PC Laptops. I had a subscription to Vipre Advanced Security that I have happily and successfully used on all of my other devices for many years. As I downloaded Vipre and provided the Vipre key, Vipre produced a pop-up asking if I wanted Vipre to remove Webroot. Since I knew I should not be running two antivirus programs at once, I said Yes to the Vipre prompt. This action sent my computer into a cycle of a Blue Screen of Death followed by an endless Restart cycle. I am adept at maintaining my computer, but the solution to this problem alluded me. And without a Windows Restore point available on my machine, I was absolutely stuck. Vipre (Cleverbridge Software) Customer Support was absolutely no help with this critical problem although they had helped with other minor problems over the years. I disconnected my desktop and took my desktop to PC Laptops in Murray, Utah where I had purchased the unit in the first place. After explaining the situation, Tyler spent less than 10 minutes getting my desktop fully up and running. In addition, he oversaw the completion of the uninstalls of Webroot and the malware programs, and watched the Vipre installation to conclusion. He then ran several diagnostics to make sure my file system and operating system were fully intact and not corrupted. (They weren't.) A+ service!! And since I had purchased my desktop at PC Laptops, the included Lifetime Warranty completely covered the cost! I am an ecstatic and incredibly happy customer of PC Laptops. PC Laptops built me a custom computer back in 2009. I cannot say enough about their staff. I hooked up with a nasty virus last week and called them for help. Kyle spent quite some time with me on the phone that first day helping me to do what I was capable of doing to get rid of the nasty bug, but it didn't work so after all his patience and several phone calls that I placed to him that day, he suggested that I bring it in. I brought it in and it turned out to be worse than at first thought. Thats when Bryan and Shawn took over and fixed the problem. I am not computer savvy, at all, and they were both very patient and with my husband and I explaining what was going on with our system and keeping us informed of the progress. I have a lifetime service agreement with PC and yet Bryan went above and beyond that agreement. He set up our new router that I needed in order to use my Kindle and helped me get my Kindle finally running as I don't even have the brains to do that. He did all this for no extra charge!!! He made sure our printer device was reinstalled along with our spyware. We don't know what we would have done without him. Anyway, as you can tell, "We Love PC Laptops!" Anyone who is considering getting a computer should go to PC Laptops. They have superior customer service, quality, and all around awesome. We bought a computer from their sister store Totally Awesome Computers. When that company tanked, PC Laptops honored Totally Awesome Computer's lifetime repair warranty. My younger brother is mentally disabled, and he is very rough on computers. He has zero sense of internet safety, and is generally rough on hardware. No matter how many times he broke our poor computer, the folks at PC Laptops fixed our computer with a smile, and prompt service. I can't stress how many times they've saved files for us. Our dinosaur of computer that we got from Totally Awesome had the hard drive, the mother board, and the graphic cards fail on us over the course of its poor life with us. Each time they replaced the parts with a smile and no additional costs. I recently got a new computer from them, and I don't regret my choice. I play a lot of League of Legends, and they knew exactly what kind of computer I needed for my favorite game. 2 years ago my husband bought me a new desktop computer from PC Laptops - they actually built it for me, so it has a solid hard drive. We took a deep breath when we handed over $3000. But let me tell you... we both have laptops and my husband has another desktop. My new computer runs circles around them. It's so fast that I'm up and running less than a minute from the time I push the start button. I NEVER have a problem with anything!!! I just take it in once a year so they can check it out to make sure everything is running well. They always ask me if I have questions and if they need them to look for anything specific. Last year they found something that kept downloading when I didn't want it. After "fixing" the problem, I've never had another download problem. I use my computer for hours almost every day and it works as though it were brand new. Our other computers would last about 5 years and then my husband would work on them to extend their life until it just wasn't possible to extend any further. I've been told that I'll never have to replace this computer.... it will always run like new. When my laptop screen broke, I was in a panic. I am in graduate school, and I have paper and assignments due each week. I walked into PC-laptops to see if they could repair it. So, I had a minor issue after receiving my laptop back and after leaving a not so great message, I immediately received a response from both the Director of Customer Relations, Matthew as well as Logan Lees at the Riverdale store. Logan was so open and honest in his communication with me and shared what had possibly happened in the transfer process of my request. He told me he wanted to make this right and asked me to bring in my laptop once again. Logan was so great in his communication to me over the process and kept me up to date on what was happening. He took time and effort to make sure that what I requested was what I received. Each time I would go into the store, everyone there would be so friendly in greeting me and making me feel welcomed. First off I want to say that I haven't met a group of people more dedicated to serving a customer than this group. I went it with an old laptop I wanted repaired, but it wasn't cost efficient, so we opted for a newer model. It was a great model but just not what I really wanted, I wasn't sold on it. They went out of their way to ensure my expectations were not only met, but exceeded. I ended up with a laptop better than I expected and they were there the whole time with updates on how their search was going, all while I used the other model for work. Thanks to their hard work and determination, I was able to make a fairly seamless transition at work, I was just dreading the headaches I thought I'd have, but they took care of everything, and more importantly, they took care of me. I highly recommend them, especially this store in Riverdale, I'm sure any of their other locations would knock it out too, but that team is definitely there for the customer. Mike at PC Laptops in Riverdale should wear a cape to work, or his boss should just give him one because he is totally my hero. I am a local photographer and depend on my computer more than I should. I recently upgraded to a better (who are we kidding ...a kick *#$* machine from PC Laptops) and needed to have all my stuff transferred over as well. They were happy to do it, no problem UNTIL... my extra terabyte hard drive failed and would not open I was sick... five years of work sitting there.... lost... I was seriously in tears!! Mike was very kind and told me he would try a few things and let me know...so I left very very distraught. Later that evening Mike called and HE DID IT... it got the hard drive to work and saved all my images... (and yes the terabyte was full) He totally saved me from a heartache and from spending possibly hundreds of dollars trying to retrieve the lost data!!! I highly recommend PC Lap tops. They do good work. It's worth the extra money to get a great computer and have great service. The only reason they don't get 5 stars from me is because on more than one occasion when one of my machines needed service, one technician checked me in, but then they either called in sick or were terminated before they finished my work order and another technician had to finish. It caused some wasted time for me to re-explain or for them to catch up on what the first tech. had done. And I wish I didn't have to wait in line for what sometimes is a few days to get my machine serviced. However, I just bought a new $2300 laptop from them and will continue to use them for my computer needs. Last week, Mike took in my work order and Bryan finished it up for me. They both did a great job. I also got a new free phone from them and renewed my Verizon contract through them while I was there. read more

Took in an external drive that was not working. Sean Milne at PC Laptops managed to recover the data and put it on a new drive for me. They didn't try to sell me some over-priced drive, he let me go buy one and bring it in. Unfortunately that drive was defective and failed less than a week later. Took the old drive and the new drive back to Sean who worked all weekend to recover what he could from the old, and all but completely dead, drive. Put what he could on a new USB drive and didn't charge me a thing. I didn't get everything back but I got way more than I thought I would because Sean took the time to do everything he could to help. It's all my fault because i didn't back up my data but Sean at PC Laptops bailed me out. These guys don't just build and service new computers, they treated me and my issue like it was as important as selling me a high-end computer system. read more

Since I've purchased a laptop from elsewhere I"ve had nothing but problems with Malware, etc. When I called Riverdale PClaptops store I was pleasantly surprise by their great customer service greeting skill. I brought my computer in and watched Shawn did a diagnostic test. He cleared the viruses and introduced me to his Malware *Eset Nod32* program. That was over two years ago and I haven't had a problem since. I saw Shawn yesterday at his Riverdale store to help me with my pdf file error, and to download a newer version of pdf file so I can continue my job on the computer. Happy girl here! I was in Utah visiting relatives & brought my old, outdated laptop because I had an Excel spreadsheet presentation to deliver to a group while I was in town. It was stupid, I know - leaving my new laptop at home. I'd been too busy to set it up. This old one was too old to update to Windows 11 & I made a couple of moves that shut the whole thing it down. Besides that, my Excel was old too (2016 disk - Excel still updates it). I don't use it enough to pay for a monthly subscription. I wasn't sure if the shutdown was serious or just something I could make worse by messing around with it. I had taken a laptop to PC Laptops a few years before at a different location & had been very pleased with that visit. Sure enough, Nathan came to the rescue. My husband bought me a computer for Christmas. We decided to go with PC laptop because you can take it in anytime after purchase and have them help you clean up anything you've done on accident when you're old like me ! and not as computer literate as you'd like to be .as well as they do a yearly tuneup install antivirus Do any update you need for the life of your computer. There is a cost for the anti-viruses but it's nice to have somebody else worry about it. If you get a threat notice on your computer you take it in they check it out and clean things up and let you know what's going on.
