Hanging out with the guys at PC Laptops in Layton.

You know what is king?? Great Customer service is king. And if customer service is king, then this place is the castle! You will find that this is a recurring theme when folks talk about PC Laptops. I stopped in at their Layton location tonight to pick up some merchandise that had been in their Salt Lake store. Get this, the manager of that store met up with the guys from the other store so they could bring it down for me to be able to pick it up by tonight. What?!? Truth. Dan Fox and Mike Wolf (the fox & wolf ha!) are great guys. The folks at PC Laptops are always happy to see you and offer you a cold beverage when you come in. They are easy going and are good for both people who know computers and want to build an extreme gaming rig as well as ma and pa who "don't know what is wrong with this durn thang" If you need to score a new computer or just need to tune up your current machine, go see these guys and they will treat you right.

Layton PC laptop was used to be my computer place to go But NO MORE !!!. I took my computer to the Layton store because it wont power on. They send out my computer to find out the problem but when I called or visited the store to see the status on my computer, none one can tell me what is going on except Kevin who always absent (not in the store) every time I called. back and forth without any of my questions to be answered! Upon receiving a text that I need to return their "loaner" computer, I got my computer back without knowing whether it is fixed or not as I have decided to go somewhere else. Later on I received texted to either bring my computer back to the store or pay $150 (for I dont know what!!!) or I will be reported that I STOLED my OWN COMPUTER from the store that I send to fix for me??? Crazy bunch dummies!!! After the previous layton manager Mike (a great manager) left, it is a SHAME this place have changed to a ridiculous store with bunch dummies!!! Unlike before when Mike was the manager, a phone call will give me the answer. No games! I go to Devin in Murray store now, he is a great manager there and solved my problem in one visit!

I don't know what happened to this store, I used to love it. Lately though everytime I go in…read moresomething is different in a way that makes me not want to shop there. It feels like the store doesn't want to sell stuff, they put limits on how much you can buy (there's signs everywhere saying limit of 3), nothing is on sale anymore (they do 30% off plates instead of 30% off kitchen) . Absolutely no thanks to all that. If I'm going to a store to buy plates, I probably also want other kitchen supplies as well. I refuse to pay full sticker price at a store like NPS where the boxes are severely damaged and where it's a 50% probability that the item is damaged. They don't do many weekly sales anymore so It's incredibly rare lately to find anything at a great price, the prices at NPS are the same on Amazon. Without the additional percentage off, it doesn't make sense to buy from NPS. The only things you can actually get a good deal on is their almost expired food.

Bargain hunters, observe! NPS is a treasure trove of items you can buy at a discount-sometimes a…read morevery steep one. The inventory here is made up of overstocked goods, damaged or refused shipments or even abandoned or unclaimed items. You never know what they are going to have, so each visit will be unique. This means it might be challenging to come in hoping to find something very specific, but if you're a little more flexible, you could snag some great treasures. The majority of the store appears to be clothing and household goods. There's also accessories, shoes, groceries, electronics and a little bit of furniture. My favorite part of the store is in the back corner called "Collectibles." This is where you'll find name brand clothing, handbags, watches and sunglasses. I had to restrain myself from buying $260 Jimmy Choo shoes, but they were a half size off and a little more worn that I would prefer. Most items in the store are new, but the collectible section does have pre-owned things as well.

Fraudulent store! Will lie to you 100% I was recently…read moremarried last year and in November my husband and I decided it was time to get on a family phone plan. I was with Verizon with 2 kids and he was with T-Mobile with two kids. We also priced out AT&T for what deals they had at that time. Both Verizon and T-Mobile were offering a *free* iPhone 15 with eligible iPhone trade in- well up to $830 off the new iPhone per line. After pricing it out for our 6 lines combined- T-Mobile was about $50 cheaper bill total monthly so we decided on T-Mobile. We were working with the store manager Jeremy the first day we were in the store in November. Jeremy promised us an $830 credit per line with eligible trade in and for my son's line up to $830 I believe Visa card for the remaining payoff amount I would own to Verizon (he had a newer iPhone that I was required to pay the remaining contract balance of the phone for leaving Verizon early). He also told me that after 3 months of being with T-Mobile my son would be eligible for $830 off any iPhone with trade in of his iPhone 14. We were at the store over 3 hours that day making the switch. My daughter traded in her phone that day and got the iPhone 15. Jeremy brought my son's line over and told me I would just need to bring in the final bill from Verizon when I received it so he could put in the credit for the Visa card to be mailed to me. I got an iPhone 15 pro that day but my iCloud wasn't fully up to date to leave my trade in phone that day so Jeremy told me I had 30 days to bring it in. My husband's son also traded in his phone for an iPhone 15. I paid the taxes for the 3 new phones and the additional amount for my iPhone pro (amount over the $830 credit I was promised) and left the store. We were also given a charger and screen protector that we were told was "included with the phone". A couple weeks later in December before my 30 day limit, I brought my trade in iPhone to the store- Jeremy was once again in the store, greeted me and remembered me from our last visit, and brought up my account. He told me that because we brought over 3 lines to T-Mobile, one of the lines got a phone for free up to $830 and since I already paid the difference of my iPhone pro, the remaining $830 balance was free! I said that's not what you told me when we transferred over so I want to make sure that is correct because I have my trade in phone here now and the 30 days is almost up. Jeremy told me I had nothing to worry about and he could see the credit on my account and it just takes 2-3 billing cycles to apply and I would be credited any phone charges after the credit applied. I asked him at least 3 more times if he was positive he did NOT need my phone traded in and he stated there was no where to even accept the trade in on my account bc I already had the $830 phone credit on my line. So happily took the deal and left. In January I look at my bill and I'm still being charged for my phone. And I'm being charged for the chargers and screen protectors they gave as in November that they said were "included with the phone." Do I went back to that store, unfortunately Jeremy was not there but Payton the assistant manager was and she said she remembered me and pulled up my account. She couldn't figure out why I was being charged for my phone and took pictures of my documents with their store iPad. I also provided my Verizon final bill with my son's phone balance amount so I could get that Visa card mailed to me. Payton told me she would talk to Jeremy when he got in and have him call me. I also asked why I was being charged for the included chargers and screen protectors and she said they weren't free but would be charged to our account over 12 months! I said I was told they were included and she said no they aren't free, they just spread out the cost so I don't have to pay upfront. I said that is NOT what I was told and I would NOT have taken them had I known how much they cost. And no one ever even said a price! How could I be charged for something I was never even told an amount?? I said I haven't even touched any of them, they were still in the he T-Mobile bag I left with unopened and I wanted to return them because I did not agree to that. She said I only had 14 days to return them and there was nothing she could do but she'd also let Jeremy know. Continued in photos!!

They bought a part from an unknown vendor & cant provide me with any kind if serial number, part number or item number. They could have offered to open it up & re-look at it. We have 2 cell phones that need repairs that I WILL NOT BE TAKING THERE.
