Customer service. My son and I came in to look for a Nintendo 3DS... We were acknowledged when we walked in. There were two people behind the counter helping other customers. So we looked around and waited. One employee finished and was doing something on the computer when another person came in and sat down. The employee acknowledged them and then took them ahead of us. Recently my wife went in because we hit a rough patch and needed quick cash. She brought in a brand new Nintendo Switch OLED -- still in the clear case, never used, complete with everything -- and they gave her only $85 for it. That's not just a low offer, that's taking advantage of someone in a vulnerable situation. Instead of being fair or transparent, they lowballed her knowing she needed the money. I understand businesses need to make profit, but there's a difference between making money and exploiting people when they're down. This experience left a really bad impression. BUYER BEWARE I bought a camera and a camcorder from this place, when I asked if they've been "tested", they said they were. When I requested they test it when I was there, they conveniently said they didnt have the batteries or the charger for the devices, so they couldnt test it. Should've seen that huge red flag. Anyways, I spent another $50 on the appropriate batteries and charger, only to find out the camera did not turn on at all and the camcorder's batteries lasted for roughly 3 minutes before it shut off. I refuse to believe they "tested" these devices or any professional business would've stated the issues with the devices. Please dont make the same mistake and require them to test the devices when you're there and if they say they "tested" it, be very wary. Horrible experience. read more

I went to buy the cheapest phone I could find. Didn't even need a smartphone. This was the only place that sold cheap used phones less than $75 or $50. I didn't need one but they also sell new high end phones. I ended up getting a 2020 model android smartphone for $40 that would have been $200 new on amazon (in 2025)! They were also able to discuss their inventory over the phone so i didn't waste the drive. Would definitely recommend. read more

This place is decent for buying stuff but not for selling. I recently sold my Sony a230 camera and my LUMIX DMC-ZS10 to this place and all they give me was $40 or $60 for both cameras in total. I checked their website and I saw both of these cameras were listed for $150 each. Honestly at that point I might just buy it back and keep it for myself. read more

Was suckered in on a deal on their website that said six games for $19.99, and it featured a ton of NES games. First off they weren't interested in honoring that deal, saying that it ended months ago (despite it appearing quite prevalently on their website). Even better they only had a total of maybe eight NES games to choose from at this "deal;" instead it was mostly Xbox and PlayStation games. So they brought me in under false premises both on the advertised deal and availability of the items shown in the advertisement. So that's strike one. Secondly, none of the items have a price listed. Instead you have to search on the website for the prices. Even better, a lot of items don't show up when you do a search for them, necessitating getting one of the workers involved. That's strike two. And the prices on everything else? Outrageous. The NES games are ridiculously overpriced to the point of absurdity. $51 for Dragon Warrior, a game that was given away for free with subscriptions to Nintendo Power? That's strike three, now you can GTFO. They weren't kidding when they called themselves PayMore. Didn't expect them to also engage in just a little bit of bait and switch too. read more

I have a perfect condition switch OLED and wanted to get rid of it. Figured I would try this place. I saw online that they are selling the switches for over 150. I figured I would get a decent offer. Especially since according to the guy who helped me, it's in great condition. The guy who helped lied and said they are only selling them for 150 and offered $80 max for it. I told him online it shows you all are selling them for more and he had a dumb look on his face and said oh really. Yeah really dude I checked before I came out here. If no stars was an option it would be negative stars. I called the store and was polite asking for just an estimate due to the distance I would have to travel in order get to the store. I had sent a text before I had called the store for an estimate. I figured callng would be the quicker of the two.I called and was told this could not be done over the phone. I received a text right after the call that said please provide the information about the item. I called the store back the same guy answers I confront him about him lying to me and told him what the text had said. He then says OK what's the info. I asked if you can't do it over the phone then why did he need it? He gave no response so i asked for the manager. Then he hangs up on me mid sentence. I call again and George answers I ask for the guys name and he won't tell me his name. What kind of customer service do you have representing this company. I was not being aggressive until being lied to by the staff at this store utterly ridiculous. Oh and you all don't pay more. I'll just mail it in online and get nearly 1.5 times the estimate I finally got. So no thank you thank God I didn't do business with this place. It was an absolute nightmare without even walking inside wouldn't want to imagine actually stepping foot inside the place. read more

While it looks like a nice store with what could offer a great experience giving the consumer an easy way to get rid of their unwanted stuff is ruined by outrageously low offers for high priced items. The people at this store do not seem to know anything about current market value or what would be considered a fair price and what is even more stupid is that their website claims they will match a better deal that you may have found somewhere else. Do not shop here go else where like Facebook market place or even Ebay if you put in the effort you won't have to shop at bad places like PayMore! read more

I brought several boxes' worth of old electronics to PayMore to resell and recycle and was helped by Sebastian who was patient and took the time to explain what the store couldn't buy and its valuation of what it could. For the latter, he quoted me fair prices and I left the store with cash in my pocket and peace of mind from having dropped off for recycling a bunch of old electronics that otherwise would have ended up in a landfill. I was very satisfied with the service I received and would recommend this place to anyone looking to unload electronics they no longer use. read more

I got a low offer tried the one in Temecula and they offered a better price. These people here will lowball you if you aren't checking. Honestly ask around I honestly would never come again and have my electronics appraised. Place is a scam, offered me $400 for a $1700 Laptop, went on to itsworthmore.com and they gave me $800. The laptop is only a year old and has a ryzen 9, 4060 gpu, 512 ssd and 32gb ram. I'm not expecting anywhere near what I paid but $400? That's ridiculous. Laptop is basically new and sat in my laptop bag a whole year. Even the guy struggled to find anything wrong with it, till he finally found a small black smudge that he probably caused and I even wiped it off no problem with my finger. Bit more of a hassle having to ship it and wait 6 days for the money but worth it in the end. read more

I do not understand the negative reviews. These people must have never gone to a resale store like a pawn shop or clothing reseller. They always offer about half of what they can get on the used market. I purchased a laptop from PayMore and had a great experience. Chan helped me out and did an amazing job.
