I was always hesitant to trust someone I didn't already know to come into my home and care for my beloved cats. Laura put us at ease right away. We spoke on the phone initially, then scheduled a Meet & Greet where my husband, myself, and our two Ragdoll boys got to hang out with and get to know Laura. Right away, I understood that Laura is a kind, dependable, intuitive, professional person who truly loves what she does, AND has a sense of humor. She kept in touch with us via text messaging every day for the 5 days we were gone, sending updates and cute photos of our boys. Knowing that our kitties were in good hands with someone trustworthy made all the difference for us during our time away. We will absolutely contact Laura the next time we go out of town. I can't recommend her enough!

When I arrived at the ER, Delilah was seen immediately and received medical attention right away. The team worked quickly to stabilize her, and throughout the entire process everyone was kind, respectful, and compassionate. A special thank you to Dr. Henry, who was wonderful during such a difficult time. She was honest, clear, and compassionate when explaining Delilah's condition and prognosis. She gave me her professional assessment while also supporting me through the heartbreaking decision to let Delilah go. Her kindness and empathy meant more to me than I can express. This was my first time visiting this hospital, as I had never needed emergency veterinary care before. Even though the circumstances were overwhelming and emotional, every staff member treated us with care and respect. I would not hesitate to return if I ever needed emergency care for my pets again, and I am even considering transferring the routine care of my other cat to this facility because of the exceptional experience we had and its convenient location close to home. Thank you to everyone who cared for Delilah and helped me through such a difficult goodbye.

He had serious skin issues from what was most likely years of flea infestations (bad skin thickening) and he was never aggressive- but very tender to handle. He has no more skin thickening, very rarely has skin issues, and his quality of life has greatly improved. Prior to Derrick I took him to a mobile pet salon that wasn't very reliable, and tried my best to groom him at home. It's amazing to see how well he's aged because of his regular grooming. In addition we recently got a rescue who is a crazy mix- but part golden retriever and part Maltese (if you could believe it). She doesn't generally like men but Derrick is so kind and confident that she doesn't generally just fine. He gives me tips on stinky ears, broken nails, and all kinds of things. I moved to Sebastopol and still will take my dogs to see him, he always has time and great advice about whatever I am curious about.
