Was so tired from a full day of fun!
    Dana S.

We were visiting a Guerneville for the week @ a nearby dog friendly hotel. However there were some days we would need to be out and about so decided to trust Four Paws with our 7mo year old mini doodle. The staff here is AMAZING. A true love for all animals and they took great care of our Otis boy. He came home so tired from play and was excited to return two days later. Whenever we are in Sonoma county this is 100% the place id trust again for our fur baby.

    This is my rescue puppy

Shout out to Four Paws Pet Ranch I have a 70lb, 6mo. old shepherd rescue who is terrified of everything. My trainer suggested doggie day care to help socialize him. I talked with several places and decided to give Four Paws Pet Ranch a try. Cory, the general manager, with her knowledge and experience was willing to tailor a plan for my boy. It included, among other things , short days, time to watch others and slow, selected introductions, I had to forcefully drag him out of the car, tail between his legs, growling, the first couple times. With the patient, caring and gentle staff he began to play with other dogs and not be so fearful. Today was his fifth visit. He jumped right out of the car, tail wagging, excited to go with staff and play with his new friends. I couldn't be more pleased with his progress at this special place.

    Beautiful Macaw at the ranch!

After a successful 2 hour dog daycare trial, we opted for the 2 day special for first time clients. This special gives you your first night's free when you book at least 2 nights, great deal! Not to mention a percentage of your stay goes towards their non-profit pet rescue/adoption center Countryside Rescue, located on the ranch! If you are local and unable to pick or drop your dog off, they do have a convenient Waggin Wheels service that comes! Although there was some initial confusion with a woman working the counter the day we dropped him off, the other staff were quick to answer any questions or concerns we had about having our puppy boarded overnight for the first time. This is turn made us feel very comfortable and trusting with leaving him. We needed a couple intimate days alone on our babymoon to focus on each other as a couple, which to us was very important! I would recommend this award winning pet ranch that's been in business for 14 years, especially if you're an animal lover like us! We spotted some well taken care of emus and a beautiful Macaw when we dropped our puppy off! When the day arrived to pick him up, the sweet ranch staff said that Midnight did great socializing with the other dogs and was a good eater! We brought him the raw freeze dried puppy food he loves, as well as his durable squeaky skunk toy for comfort away from home, which I think really helped him adjust so well! We'll definitely be using their services in the future, they offer full service grooming and dog training as well on site! SYOY! :-) *Song Credit: Whenever by LiQWYD

Well things have changed and management has shifted since manager of property took over after new owner came. I'd say I wish I was going to still be a customer --but that's not likely. The property manager's attitude is what I've witnessed, and her overall behavior. It could use a serious adjustment for the better.

He's boarded overnight here a handful of times too when we go on vacation. Roger used to go to work with my husband so Sometimes we'd go months without bringing him in, but no matter how long in between visits, the staff always remembers him/us!!! And now that my husband has a different job, we're bringing roger 1-2 days a week! Marilyn and Sue (and the rest of the staff) are always so friendly and I know they take good care of our boy! Every time we're driving, and we turn onto Coffey rd. from Piner rd. , Roger starts whining and howling , he knows where we're going, and then when we get out of the car, he practically drags me inside he's so exited to be there!!! I love how they have webcams to see the dogs play so I can check in on him when I'm at work. It's nice that they separate the little dogs from the big dogs too!! The prices are reasonable and comparable to other daycare places around. For daycare, It's $20 for half a day (less than 5 hours) and $29 for a full day (more than 5 hours)! And a full day can be from the Time they open to the time they close!! Their hours are great too and work with most peoples schedules: M-F 6:30am-7pm and Sat-Sun 7am-7pm! I know I can trust to bring Roger here and he's well taken care of and loved. And when we bring him home he is one pooped pup!!! Thank you paradise pet resort for taking such good care of our baby!

Other than having a bad reaction to trazodone on our last flight, and the occasional foxtail issue, he has never had a sick day in his life. We recently used Paradise pets in a pinch because we could not book our house sitter on short notice. We were referred by a friend who planned to board his three dogs at Paradise during the same time. I felt good based on his referral and knowing my dog would be in the company of his dog park friends. Our dog stayed two nights. Before his visit he got all his vax updates and wellness check by our long time vet. Since we picked him up he has been so sick we have visited our vets twice. First for vomiting and Diarrhea. Today we went in for Kennel Cough. With the emergency visits and meds, I have paid $300 in vet bills. Bottom line, I will be looking for other options next time I need to board my dog.
