I recommend. HAS Veterans and Military Discount :-)
    American L.

I found Maranda Ranch Kennels to have taken the pledge To Leave No Veteran or Active Duty Behind. Cousins and us stopped by to get our respective emotional support dogs from this kennel after a day of canoeing we'd booked a few months ago. We'd found this kennel because the owners of this business like their Freedom so they have a Military and Veterans Discount as a thank you to Veterans with a publicly disclosed daily Veteran Discount which provides resource to ensure Veterans (rare 7% of the population) opportunity to participate in American Dream Veterans' sacrifices have made possible for 100% of the population. My cousins have two emotional support dogs and two emotional support cats. We have one emotional support dog, one Service Dog and two emotional support cats. My Service Dog stayed with me, the cats stayed at home, while we kenneled the emotional support dogs. Upon picking up our dogs, here's what the dogs had to say to us. Of course dogs talk --to those who know how to listen. You're BACK!! We love you. We love you. We love you. How was our day? You tricked us! You told us we were going for a fun ride. You left us at some kennel, and took Moon Doggy Tide with you. What'd we think of the kennel? Kennel was a strange new sight. Many interesting smells though. How were we to know in that one stay our whole life would change. From the moment we looked in those eyes we've never been the same. What are we talking about? Met 'em at the kennel. New 2-legged friends. Who talked to us in their baby talk. New 4- legged friends. We exchanged sniffs. Scratch my ear. No, not there. There! Ahhhhhhh ohhhhhhh, yesssssssss. Isn't it dinner-time?

My Dog Kupa, mellowed out since his trip to the Ranch, he still plays, but hes less stressed it seems, and very happy!

My Dogs first time being at a kennel, I'm glad it was here.... My dog is a like a kid to me, Family, so I researched places inside and out, then finally picked Maranda Ranch with reviews, and talking to other pet owners. My dog / Kupa has bad Anxiety, and sometimes, but not always, doesn't get along with other dogs... So needless to say I actually called a few places , or people and they wouldn't take him cause of that issue, which I understand, but where am I gonna take him, also I just don't want anyone to watch him.. Then I heard about Maranda Ranch, and Wow I was happy to hear of the results and how he was, even got to see pics of him on there Facebook. When he came home he was calmer, more relaxed, and not so stir crazy. Hes such a great dog, and I love him so much, I would HIGHLY recommend Maranda Ranch to anyone looking for a boarding / Kennel Service...

We love this place to board our 2 cardigan corgis. They get to share a kennel, and always come back to us tired and happy. Mary Beth works with them on leash manners, and has gotten them caught up on vaccinations when they got behind. As soon as we pull up the dogs run in and barely look back at us. We always know our pups are in good hands there. Highly recommend.

    Our baby girl Betty

Our baby girl Betty absolutely loves Maranda Ranch! She gets so excited the moment we arrive to drop her off for daycare. When we pick her up in the evening she's incredibly wiped out and sleeps the entire drive home. During the day the staff videos the dogs playing in the yard together and it's fun to watch them have a great time. We highly recommend Maranda Ranch. The staff is incredibly friendly and very welcoming.

No one had seen what happened to him but they confirmed it had not come from a dog scuffle of any kind, it was likely environmental. I was not immediately concerned. I've taken my dogs and family dogs to daycare for the last 15 years. I understand that when you play hard, sometimes you get hurt. But this was not like any injury I have ever seen on any of my other dogs who have been to daycare--even those who needed a few stitches. I will share a picture below, but after the vet shaved off the fur, it revealed a huge bruise and a round open wound that was about 1.5in. in diameter. After getting home with stitches and a bag of new drugs from the vet and seeing a charge for a full day of daycare from Vintage Dog Ranch, I called and asked if they could refund us for the day as we received a $664 vet charge for the injury he received in Vintage's care only 3 hours into the day. In response, they hesitantly gave me a 50% discount. In this entire experience, not one member of their staff apologized for what had happened or tried to rectify the situation to get me to come back since it was only my second time there. They very matter of fact said, "He got injured, we don't know what happened, let us know if you have any questions," and that was about it. On recommendation from my neighbor who has been taking her small dog there for years, I went to speak to one of their owners, Mike, in person. We spoke in a private back room where I expressed 3 concerns. One, that it was quite unsettling that my dog got such a bad injury from the environment in their yard that not a single person or camera witnessed (there are at least 10 staff members on property and no cameras). Two, that their staff did not seem to have any desire to rectify the situation to ensure my return to their business. And three, that they were hesitant to give me even half a day's refund, let alone the full refund I believe I deserved after my dog's traumatic experience and the expensive vet bill that followed. Throughout the time I spent explaining these concerns to Mike, I was met with extreme defensiveness. He interrupted me multiple times as I was speaking to interject his "expertise" or reasoning as to why what I was saying may not be right, with something along the lines of, "I'm not trying to stop you mid-sentence, but..." Some of his most concerning responses: "You feel this way because this is your dog." "I'm not trying to diminish your feelings, but I have thousands of dogs come through here every year and we have been doing this for 25 years. This level of injury has maybe happened 5 times in those 25 years." When I asked what they had discussed internally about the potential cause of his injury, "That's something we discuss internally and don't usually share, but I can share that with you if you want." When asked how long they leave their dogs completely unsupervised, he said, "I can't really tell you--is it 10 minutes, 20 minutes, an hour? It varies, I couldn't give you a straight answer." Instead of providing a solution or earnestly trying to make me feel safe enough to bring my dog back, he put the solution on me saying, "What is it that you were looking for when you came to talk to me today?" Though the owners did let me do a lap around the yard and eventually agreed to fix some things in the environment (though I have not heard from them in a month about these improvements), after hearing the way he spoke about our dog ("you feel this way because it's your dog"), constantly being interrupted, and listening to him diminish the incident down to a number in the thousands he's dealt with, we will not be coming back--and I encourage everyone to reconsider bringing their dog to Vintage Dog Ranch. The girls who work there are lovely, but this is just a business to the owners, Mike and Brian. Imagine if you took your kid to daycare, they got a deep wound that no one witnessed, and the owner couldn't tell you how it happened or how long your kid had been left unsupervised. I'm pretty sure all parents would agree with me in saying they would never be bringing their children back to that daycare. Think twice before choosing Vintage Dog Ranch.

I would like to give my glowing recommendation and praise to who I would call my friend and pet…read moresitter Melissa Bush. Melissa has been my pet sitter for almost 5 years. I completely trust her with the care of my fur baby, 100+ pound lab/Rottweiler mix, Patton. Melissa is not only honest, reliable, flexible, and available at short notice or emergency situations, she also showed enormous love and compassion for Patton. My dog LOVES Melissa, looking forward to her visits he gets excited at the mention of her name. Her rates are very reasonable for the services she renders. In fact as a busy person who feels quite guilty leaving my dog in the care of another, I love getting off work to find a text from Melissa updating me on how Patton's day was with her. I have complete trust in her being in my home and having access to my house key. Melissa always does exactly what is asked of her and shows interest and knowledge in my dog, alerting me to potential medical or behavioral problems. Patton has had a few medical issues throughout his short life, and she is great at giving him his meds and keeping an eye on his progress. My dog needs the comfort of his own home and really doesn't like the kennel/day camp situation. Melissa relieves this stress on me and and for him by providing exceptional service at an affordable rate. Her never ending love and concern for my dog will never be forgotten.
