The owner was very patient and kind with my 5 lb dog who was traumatized from prior grooming experiences. She was very accommodating and took time talking with me to understand what had happened and what I wanted. I was shocked when I picked up my dog as she was literally calm and looked amazing. She did exactly what I asked but most importantly she took the time and care and I am so grateful for her professionalism, but even moreso for her love and care of dogs. Her prices were affordable esp compared to other groomers who had hurt my dog. Prior to Paws, my dog's last grooming experience required 7 stitches due to the pad of her paw being sliced with scissors. Called specifically because they mentioned they groom older dogs. I have a 15 year old terrier mix who needs to be groomed every few months. My last groomer did his entire body but not his face and we need the face done. When I called Paws today they said they would not take him as a client due to his age??? Worst grooming owner I ever dealt with. I thought animal lovers are supposed to be kind and patient. Not at this place. Owner is rude and impatient. Messed up all my schedule. I asked for every six weeks. She could not even count. The hair cut is not even good and overpricied. Will not return for sure. She was supposed to call as a reminder when I had an appointment and she didn't. The days I didn't have an appointment she called. She messed up all the schedule and called me randomly. Never again! Owner Cathy was cold and dismissive and barely spoke to my dog or tried to make her feel comfortable. (It was our first visit). They said they groom older dogs - mine is 15 and not difficult -but Cathy seemed less than thrilled when I mentioned this. I asked for a basic allover cut including my dog's ears and she said "I have to pull that out and that hurts". WHAT?!? I said "never mind" and was told she'd be done in 3 hours. I received a call about 45 minutes later from Cathy who said "she's too old to be here that long (WHAT?!?) and she's stressed - she'll be done in an hour". When I returned, she said my dog had cried a lot and was upset and "bit her tongue while I was clipping her but I got all the blood off". Also, there was a small wart on my dog's back that my vet had instructed me to leave alone and it had been shaved off. Are these people amateur veterinarians? Finally, not that money is the main object when it comes to my pet, but she charges TEN DOLLARS more than anywhere else. Very, very, very unhappy and, needless to say, will not return or recommend to others. read more

Cathy and staff are absolutely hands down the most compassionate and caring dog grooming service I've ever encountered. I have 2 German Shepherds, Hunter who is our 3 yr very anxious and suspect girl which we've had since 8 weeks old and our very vocal and social rescue Ace. Cathy and staff treat our dogs very well. I also love how she initiates her calming technics for our pups to make sure they are relaxed while getting groomed. She takes her time and always makes sure she doesn't over book her clients in order to provide quality grooming for each client. Best dog groomer around I drive all the way from Willingboro because of the amazing job they do on my dog. Ziggy is a rescue and doesn't like to be handed much, so grooming isn't easy. They are very friendly and do a wonderful job even time. I would highly recommended Paws to everyone. I have been taking My Dog Boo and My Mom's Dog Jake - here for the past couple of years to be groomed and my dog in general doesn't usually like to be groomed but Since I started bringing Boo here she seems to really like it. Both Jake and Boo love coming here to be groomed. They treat both our Fur Babies (our pets) and Us the Human Beings very good, they are very Professional, They Take the Time to help explain things so that we can understand, They are a good place to bring your pets. We've been taking our dogs to Paws for over 10 years. They are the nicest people and always do a great job. We now have an Australian Shepherd who loves coming here. Always leaves smelling great and usually with a nice bow around his collar. For our other dogs who are no longer with us, they used to also clean their rear glands as an extra cost. read more

I have taken my Cocker Spaniel to Paws (Kathy) since she was a pup,and has always gotten the best of care. Every time we said to Buttons "lets go to the beauty parlor", she'd go crazy! She is almost 16yrs now, and lots of heart breaking things are happening, but Kathy is not only a groomer, but a person with a large heart, she takes special care of Buttons, with all her pain, and confusion, carries her out to the car sometimes, when I can't (I'm older now too). We just adopted Archer a Great Pyrenees about 2-weeks ago. He is an amazing boy who just passed his vet check up with flying colors. That said, we rescued him from a shelter and he definitely needed cleaning up and grooming. I came across Paws Grooming here on Yelp and decided after talking with Cathy that this was the place to go. Well in a word...Cathy, Sandy and Morgana (Archer's personalized groomer) ROCK! Seriously they took the time to explain everything and spent almost 4 hours on him and he came out looking & smelling amazing! Morgana thanks for the hard work and the care you took in cleaning him up. Cathy...you've got a great team as you know and I will definitely be coming back. I'm not one to take the time to review local businesses but they absolutely deserve it.
