Unbeknownst to us, they were canceled out of the party, without even a phone call. Lucy and Ethel have been going there 4-5 days per week since they were puppies for almost 8 years now, except during our trips. Why would today be any different? We called and made sure we were rescheduled for the Mardi Gras party, and now we're told it's full and they can't go. This is how they treat their long time loyal customers. I was at my wits end trying to find a dog walker. I tried a few people before I met Seraphin and they were just OK. We are super particular about who sits with our babies. As with most of the hypoallergenic breeds like ours, they require constant brushing to avoid matting. We stumbled across Adorable Doos because they've had experience grooming our breed in the past. Therefore, we've been very impressed with our experience the past few times. Our dog's always come back nice and clean - what more can you ask for. Takes about 3 hours for a full groom, bath, etc. Can't go wrong with that. The women there are super nice. If anything, I wish they were open longer on the weekdays, but why make minor complaints? It's very convenient for us - just remember to immediately turn right after you get onto Ridge Road otherwise you'll miss the sign!

Very Disappointed…read more Contrary to what the name suggests, Curry Corner is not an Indian restaurant, but that's not the reason for my disappointment. The confusing name with no apparent relation to what the business actually is, is a portending of what's to come. Yup, Curry Corner is a pet grooming salon (???!!!) Try as I might to frequent local, independent business (this one within walking distance of my home), I called to set up a "haircut" for my recently rescued Pomeranian. Simple enough, one would think. Apparently, the baffling variabilities of just how much it costs to get a little dog's hair cut equals the difficulty in stemming an out-of-control oil well two miles below the ocean's surface. While I understand retailers can be loathe to quote exact prices for a given service over the phone (understand,but don't agree) - the lady on the other end of the phone simply couldn't demystify the process or seemingly countless choices of grooming available, and had little interest in making any of the transaction easy. Sorry - I'll admit to never having cut an amimal's hair myself, but I simply refuse to believe that a slide rule or algebraic law goes into the pricing strategy of an effing dog's hair cut. I thanked her for her time; no effort was made on her part to make me n' Charlie a regular. Picked up the phone, called Petsmart, they were coutreous, expert, had the pricing and services ready to go (a full meal deal, nails, lube job, the whole lot came in at less money the Curry Corner crypically hinted at for a simple shave). Made an appointment -- picked Charlie up today- he looks awesome!! The young ladies at Petsmart were enthusatic, genuine and engaged as you could ever hope a specialty shop to be. Perhaps they forgot they work at a National chain. Perhaps they genuinely love animals and subsequently, their jobs. Sorry Curry Corner; I tried, you failed. No treat for you! Bad dog!!
