They did a wonderful job with my havenese, who can be a biter when her paws or tail are brushed.

Awful place! If you love your dog, go somewhere else! They cut my dog's leg down to the bone and never told me anything about, found it from him licking it. read more

Do NOT take your dog here for grooming. After being asked how much they weighed, we were quoted $76 per dog for our two small dogs. Pets in Paradise charged us over $100 for each dog! When I questioned the price, I was told the dogs were bigger than they had anticipated. Very sad. We had hoped to support a local business, not be fleeced by unscrupulous owners. Jackie H read more

I've taken my dog here several times. I do feel like they are on the pricier side but overall they do a good job and my golden retriever seems to like them (he walks out happy). Whatever they use also smells really nice pumpkin, sugar cookie, etc. read more

These girls are amazing with my pup who despises to get her nails trimmed! Grace and Gianna were fantastic. I truly appreciate how gentle and kind they are. Highly recommend!!! read more

I've been bringing my dog to Pets in Paradise for years. I really got use to Jacqueline and Taylor grooming my dog. Her last groomer was Dana. Once my dog came home super short and cut uneven. I called to speak with the owner she never got back to me. Last time I took her in Nov she came home with one bow in her hair looking crazy. I asked why the one bow they said that's all the had. Again called the owner age never returned my call. Finally in Jan when I knew I had an appointment for my dog I called to see what day it was. They put me on hold and the owner came on and said I emailed you did you read it? I said I didn't read anything. She told me that because I had multiple complaints about the grooming that they weren't going to see my dog anymore. I was livid. If they did what I asked them to do the first time there wouldn't have been any complaints. Bad business. The owner should have called me and not emailed me. read more

So... here it goes Perfume on my dog... no thank you! You have to request that they don't make you doh smell like your grandma! Bows... no thank you!! Lastly... $1 surcharge on credit card payment?! That's b-;$@&)t!!!! Taking my smelly dog somewhere else! read more

Please do not go here! I noticed my puppy's genitals were red and inflamed due to razor burns and they didn't even inform us! We took him to the vet the day after, and the vet had to give him meds. They hurt him (he was so scared when he left the place), did not even give him a haircut or cut his nails like they were supposed to, and charged full price. read more

I still take my dog to Pets in Paradise, took my dog there today, as a matter of fact. The place has grown since my last review, but I have only taken my dog to Debbie, because she does such a great job. I had a scheduling conflict today and they let me drop off my dog a half hour early so I could keep the appointment. As usual, my dog pulled me ac cross the parking to get in. I wish I knew what Debbie did that makes my dog so happy about grooming as the few times that I tried my dog wanted nothing to do with it. read more

My fav groomer! My dog is a senior. He's bougie and likes to be comfortable. He loves going to PIP! They have great specials and are reasonably priced. They truly take care of their customers and go above and beyond every time. My dog had some skin issues and they made sure they took extra time to keep him fresh and happy. The only downside is how popular they are which means remember to schedule in advance. Highly recommend the spa packages. My baby comes back smelling like blueberries! read more

We've taken our Wheaten here several times with perfect results. We now have a 4 month old Cavachon, Sully. He was groomed for the first time on Sunday. This is a first class grooming business. Both dogs were well cared for and looked amazing. They follow the pet parent requests to the letter. The salon is peaceful and well kept and the groomers are all talented. I can't imagine going to any place other then Pets In Paradise. read more

I took my dog to get a haircut here the other week. We were a new client and we were greeted by Carrie (I hope I am spelling her name right) at the front, who would be cutting my dog. To be perfectly honest, I had a very tall order for her because my dog is pretty sensitive. The facility was super clean and I felt comfortable leaving my dog here. Carrie reassured me that she would take her time with my dog and go slow so that she felt most comfortable. I was so happy with the way her haircut came out!!! I will definitely be returning and asking for Carrie again. Big thanks to you and I would highly recommend!!!! read more

They do okay groom for dogs. I stopped going here since they yelled at my dog a year ago and wanted to come back because I have no time to groom my dog myself. I decided to go somewhere else after reading all the reviews. since it seems like they are still providing poor service to dogs. They are the reason that I started to learn how to groom my dog!! The groomer will grab my dogs mouth rudly and yelled at him not to make any noise during the groom. SHAME! DON'T THINK I WOULD EVER CHECK THIS PLACE OUT AGAIN! read more

BUYER BEWARE! THIS IS NOT THE SAME MANI PETI YOU KNOW AND LOVE!!! This company changed ownership in November 2019. I had been bringing my 4 dogs (3 Newfis & Pom mix) there twice s year since the original owner opened the doors and was absolutely thrilled with the service, how my dogs were treated and the outcome of the groom. When ownership changed hands in November I (being stupidly loyal) decided to give it a shot since they kept a few of the original groomers and its close to my house. WORST MISTAKE EVER! Took my 2 year old Newf to be bathed, groomed, ears cleaned today. When he came back he looked fine (no bandana like we're used to, but okay). Then I got close to him and realized his ears were filthy and he smelled like dog. For any of you who have used Mani Peti in the past you know how good your pup smells after they get done grooming there. This lead me to believe he had been clipped but not bathed so I called to speak with the new owner. I was told that she wasn't in but they wanted to know what I was calling for. I told them that my dog had just come back from being groomed and didn't appear to have been bathed. The girl on the phone told me she knew for a fact that he had been bathed because she bathed him but she would have the owner of the store call me back. 4 hours later I got a call from the owner. I explained to her what the issue was and she assured me that the dog had been groomed and she watched video tape of him being bathed. I asked to come down to see the video and she said no. I am telling you guys he was not bathed. He didn't smell like any kind of soap at all. He just smells like dog. When I brought up the issue of his ears, she advised that teeth brushing, nail clipping & ear cleaning are a free service as well as Cologne that they apparently spray on the dogs (which I didn't know about) and that if they didn't want to use it or to do the service that they didn't have to. So basically , sometimes they do a complete groom and sometimes they don't, all depending on if they want to or not. She then told me that because her groomer was offended by my complaint that I would no longer to be allowed to bring my dogs there. Now. I think you have to understand that when I called originally I was not offensive. I was not accusatory, nothing like that. I just brought up the fact that my dog didn't smell clean and that I thought he hadn't been bathed. Apparently, because I made a complaint & only because I made a complaint, I am no longer allowed to bring my dogs there. All this because the Groomer was offended. This is definitely not the same Mani Peti that I've been going to for the last 4 and a 1/2 years. There are TONS of Groomers in Marlton. From now on I will be taking my dogs to one that completes the Service that Im paying for and is secure enough in their business to handle complaints in a Professional manner. Good luck and stay vigilent if you choose to go here. read more

Well..this is an update to my first post, dropped my dog off yesterday. Owner not in..told the staff my issue from the prior visit etc. Went to pick my dog up when they called..still no apology..still no call from the owner after saying I found the customer Service and follow up terrible ..didn't get my regular groomer as requested ...go figure. Well this woman cut my dog under her front right leg. All scrapped up, inflamed. She was a nervous wreck. Never before, the regular groomer..he rocks. Well this is the last I will ever set foot in this place..how can you not care? Why am I giving this place more stars then they should ? So yelp doesn't bury the review as the tend to do...I give them 1 STAR really. This is how they treat customers? I wonder personally if they care about my pet...just sits uncomfortably at the back of my mind. The Universe works as it should..I hear today about a great place In Bordentown...we will see. For me Pets in Paradise used to be a great place... kind if sad when all that was needed was to pick up the phone and have a mature conversation with me. read more

I brought my golden doodle there having recently moved from the Midwest. It was critical to me the groomer had experience with and understood how a doodles cut is very different from a poodles. I even gave her specific direction on how to cut from my prior groomer. Well I cried when I picked him up. He was cut just like a poodle. Please be very specific about how you want your dog cut when you bring your doodle here so you do not leave with a poodle. read more

I am so very happy that I discovered Pets & Paradise...... each and every time that I have my fur babies groomed here, they ALWAYS look & smell wonderful.... and so soft feeling, they always run out with a huge smile on their face knowing they had a great time!!!!! I've found new groomer! Saylor got a great haircut, seemed really relaxed when I picked her up and price was very reasonable!

Thank you pets in paradise for grooming my foster dog! She was found abandoned on the street and an excellent grooming was just what she needed to help her look and feel amazing! When I picked Violet up she looked amazing and has been so happy ever since. And, they groomed her at no charge since she is a Rescue looking for her forever home! Totally unnecessary but very much appreciated! I will be back many times with future fosters and my own pets. Many thanks from me, Violet, and Pet Rescue of Mercer! read more

I have had a great experience with this grooming company every time I have brought my dog to them. My dog has a lot of anxiety when left in a place like this, but the employees are very accommodating and treat her so well. I feel completely comfortable leaving my dog with them for her grooming and have always been satisfied. read more

We love Pets in Paradise! Our mom does too because she knows we're safe & well cared for while we're there! Chino grooms both of us, we're westies, Ellie the puppy hasn't had a full cut yet, but he's been grooming me, Bentley, since I was about 10 weeks old & I always looks like a westie, never silly (well, except that one time my mom asked to have me shaved, I looked like a bunny! The nerve!) We always get lots of loving while we get clean & we can't wait to go visit soon, hopefully mom remembers to call for appointments tomorrow! read more

This place always does the best job with my Bichon/Yorkie mix. They use a nice oatmeal shampoo as well so he's not as itchy. Only thing I'd say is he hates it but I'm not sure if that's the breed or they're a little rougher (because they have to be to get the job done right). Always pleased with the way he looks and smells! read more

I brought my shy dog to Pets in Paradise for grooming, and they took very good care of her! The price is right and, more importantly, my dog did very well without me and with strangers. I will definitely bring her back! read more

I brought my dog here for the first time and it was a fantastic experience. The girl who answered the phone to schedule the appointment was well spoken and polite. My dog is normally nervous and anxious when we used to take him to pet smart, but at pets in paradise he walked in confident and happy. The atmosphere there is just different. I'm not sure who cut my dog but he turned out great! I think it is the best cut he has ever had. He is a Bichon but we don't get the normal Bichon cut. I like him shaved low but not too low, all over, with his ears just trimmed. They told us he would be ready in about two hours and when we got there he wasn't quite finished but it wasn't a big deal. My dog came out smelling good, feeling good, and looking GOOD! All at a fabulous price!! read more

Absolutely butchered our dogs nails. We decided to have her nails clipped and they were horrible . Nails shouldnt bleed when you cut them ! Shes obviously in pain and they had ZERO idea what they were doing . read more

Debbie has been grooming our furry children over the past several years. She is the best! Ellie, our Shih Tzu, gets so excited when I tell her she's going to see her. Debbie's kind and loving personality along with her great grooming skills make us all happy clients! Our dog has had many health issues over the past few years and Debbie has handled her with extra special care. It's comforting to know that she gives the same care and attention as if Ellie was her very own. Thanks Deb, can't wait to see you soon! read more

They are nice and do great cuts! however i did NOT like the fact that 2 times i went into this place one of the groomers were screaming at a dog! when my husband and i walked in to get our pup we heard the lady in the back yelling STOP FUC*ING MOVING! she was so loud that the lady at the front desk said to her SOME1 is here! to get her attention and to stop. We went back another time and when we walked in one of the girls in the back was screaming STOPPPP SIT DOWN!!! yelling so loud at the dog. I really like this place and the guy that does our dog..but if it was not for him i would have never gone back in that place and would NEVER have her doing my dogs. I feel like only people that LOVE animals should work with them read more

I tried many places for my bichon and lab and Pets in Paradise has by far been the best. The dogs look great--my bichon looks like a BICHON and not a poodle like at other grooming salons. Most importantly the dogs are happy to be there and don't fight us to bring them in, like at another local place. read more

For the second straight time I made an appointment well in advance (minimum 2 weeks) for my dog to be groomed. The first time when they didn't have my dogs scheduled appt. in computer I was told there was a new girl and didn't know what she was doing and I can reschedule. When I asked if I'd be compensated for my time I was told no and not even an apology. Over two weeks ago I tried again and made an appointment with the owner Debbie due to there being a high turnaround with groomers (always seems to be someone new). I arrived 5 minutes early to be greeted with "you missed your appointment it was at 2". I was 100% positive of the correct time and even who made this appointment due to my prior experience. I even entertained her rude manner towards me and asked that even if I did have an appointment earlier why didn't anyone call me. Nastier than ever she told me that she was too busy training (which doesn't shock me, again high turnaround). She than came from around desk and said "fine just tell me what you want me to do and I'll cut his hair". Does this woman actually think I'd leave my dog with her? She was nasty, disrespectful and most importantly the worst person to deal with customer service. read more

I bring my puppy here to get her nails and ears done. Every time I walk in, they take her right away. They do such a great job with her nails. She doesn't really care for strangers, but she is so good here, the staff is great with her. read more

Staff not very professional or any friendlier than the folks at Petsmart and the grooming (cutting) skills are poor. My dog came out looking like a Bichon or something. Price is the same as other places. I wouldn't go back. My dog smelled like all sorts of perfumes and chemicals when I picked her up. I rinsed her off when I got her home. read more

I really dont know where to start! I went there and was treated so bad, as the dogs owner. They dont care about the owner at all, and I dont think they care about the dog either. I will never step foot in there again. I can't even imagine how they would treat you, if you had a real issue. read more

I had my 2 medium length hair girls done this past week. They didn't get haircuts but had baths, ears, and nails plus nail grinding. Very happy with the results. They both came out so soft and clean. I was especially happy with their nails because I'm picky about that. They were short and smooth. I'll definitely be going back. read more

Suzzane, a groomer at the location, cut our dog's paw badly. She did not report the incident to anyone. The first thing we knew of our dog's injury was the bloodstains that appeared on our jeans as he sat on our laps in the car. We went back to location to ask them what had happened. The useless groomer Suzzane said that our dog had been very fidgety, and so she cut him. We asked her why she had not told us about the injury, to which she responded with great anger. She threw our dog on the ground, and kicked us out of the store, slamming the door behind us. Needless to say we will not be visiting Pets in Paradise again, and we implore everyone to do the same. read more
