Had excellent service fo twelve years and on my last visit they kept my Golden mix there for over 8 hours. I called several times and was told he was not done. When I finally arrived to pick him up I was told I should have him shaved!!! My dog was always brushed and kept well groomed at home. I will never go back.If you dog is kept there for an extended period of time please go there to check and that is what I should have done. read more

The staff members here have awful attitudes. If they can't speak to paying customers with decency, how is anyone supposed to expect them to treat our fur babies any better? They do NOT check any client's vaccine records. I've watched them use their grooming tools on several different animals without cleaning them in between. They're probably passing all sorts of infections around They refused to give me any other option than to completely shave my cat. They said if I didn't like that, to take my business elsewhere. Unfortunately I will no longer be taking my dog back here after 2 years. After my dog was in their care this most recent time for only a few mins, they brought him out limping. It was clear that there was an incident and my dog was hurt/limping for over 2 days. They claim my dog is too difficult to handle and had a seizure on the table. They now refuse to take him back after 2 years and without referrals for help. My vet medically cleared my dog of any ailments other than a sprained leg, as he has never had any seizures. They claim to have over 20 years of experience and "they are usually the last stop for senior dogs before they pass" for grooming. Unfortunately they don't have as much experience as they claim and not enough experience in customer service either as I was left without explanation or help. Not worth the $69+ they charge. read more

We've been bringing my dog Cali to W&T for 15 years. They always really care for her and go easy & gentle now that she is older and can't handle too much. If you have a cat, find someplace else. I don't know if staff changed or what happened, but last year I took my Maine Coon mix there for a grooming and cut and they did a great job. They were done in 45 minutes and said the cat was no problem to work with or groom. This year I took both my cats and they said they were difficult to handle. Looking online, this is what they have said to other cat owners. My cat looks Like I cut him myself at home. Choppy chunks of hair removed. They didn't cut the whole sanitary area or one cat's armpits as instructed. They obviously didn't even wipe their faces. And they charged me over $150. read more

Just called for an appt. for Dec 22. (It's Nov 30) After being on hold for 4mins, she came back & told me they were holding that wk for "Loyal Customers" ok- I understand. (I've only taken my dog there a few times- because they just do an "average" job for what they charge- but out of convenience I was willing to give them another try) So I asked for the wk of Dec 6... nope... I asked for wk of Dec 15... (she put me on hold again I guess to check if I was a "Loyal enuf Customer") ...nope. I then had to ask HER if the entire month was held for "Loyal Customers. She hesitated & then said yes. Couldn't she had said that from the start? Instead of the back & forth? And wouldn't the "Loyal Customers" have already booked their appts. knowing the holidays were around the corner? I guess they are doing so well that they don't need a potential future "Loyal Customer". Where has customer service gone? It's like I am doing THEM a favor by calling for an appointment? I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of other places that do a great job & would be more then happy to take my money. read more

I'm taking care of my parents dog while they are away. Tink is usually brought to a major chain pet store groomer, but her cut never came out how I liked. The staff at W&T are nice and you get the cut you want for your dog. I have a shih tzu and I like her coat kept on the shorter side w no weird shaping. For a bath, cut, nails, and her ears were very clean inside, also her nails trimmed very well, all this for a very reasonable price and took about 2hrs, which I got a lot of errands done. And they said Tink was a good girl, meaning they were able to work w her even tho she has anxiety. I would def recommend W&T. read more

I brought my coton du tulier yesterday for grooming...and she was way overdue. She also has issues with allergies that effect her skin so it wasn't an easy grooming job. They did an extraordinary job...she was happy and beautiful when I picked her up. They accommodated her skin issues and her overdue state. I had used the same groomer for 6+ years and I must say she was happier after this appointment than she had ever been in the past. The staff was friendly, welcoming, "appropriately complimentary" of my pup and very knowledgeable. Their experience with animals was evident and you can see for yourself when you enter...the work area is open and accessible for viewing. I will definitely go back next time. Whiskers & Tails is wonderful. I usually just take my dogs in for a nail clipping with no appointment just walk in the people there are always so friendly and happy. They are super gentle and caring with my chihuahua and older minpin. The dogs are both short hair so I don't get any grooming done but they are great with nail trimming. I would highly recommend super nice friendly personable staff I've been going there for a while so I believe I've dealt with each employee and owner super nice and do a great job!!!! read more

I'm sure a lot of people love their dogs and want the best for them. Whiskers and Tails is just that! I have taken my dog here two times so far after a recommendation from a family friend. Their staff is welcoming and really listens to your wants. The dogs are kept in visible play pens or kennels in the grooming room, which I really appreciate. My dog has never been calm about going to the groomers before Whiskers and Tails. I wouldn't think of taking him anywhere else in the future and would recommend this place to everyone. read more

This was not the first time I brought my Yorkie in for a bath and grooming. Each time I have been very happy and they have done such a great job. Today we brought him for the same a bath and grooming. It is by far the worst. They shaved him instead of just trimming him. I specifically asked for a round face and they made is square . The entire hair cut is all choppy every and short to almost bald in spots and stray longer hairs. They charged me $64 for something I did not ask for. I am not sure if this was someone new or not but this is the absolute worst!!!! . When calling to complain they just kept saying he was difficult the handle. Well first off he is a puppy 8 months old and if you advertise you have 20yrs of experience he could not be the first dog that was a bit difficult to handle. I am so very very disappointed in both the hair cut that we did not request and well as the response we received from the person that answered the phone. We will not be returning and will ensure they do not get any type other than a bad review or recommendation when asked . Just horrible! Received one star only because they make you choose. read more

There are lots of options for pet groomers, but what first drew us to Whiskers & Tails were the rave reviews...and they won't disappoint! We brought our short-haired dog for a basic bath/nail clip and she was in and out in just two hours. We asked for non-scented products due to potential allergies, and they didn't miss a beat. Just got home with my dog and can't say enough nice things about the ladies who groomed him. They clearly love dogs and were very kind to my nervous pooch.
