I fell in love with K9 Resorts for so many reasons. First and foremost is how the K9 Staff interacted with my Mylo. Secondly, us. Very informative and there were no reasons for not understanding K9 Resorts and the company process. I was so amazed that I could tour K9 Resorts before bringing my pet. Then, I was so taken back by the evaluation process. Just AMAZING! You have to stop by and see for yourself! I have been telling my coworkers and showing website pictures. My husband shared our K9 Resorts experience and how Mylo is so happy since going to daycare and more relaxed! I feel like a pre-school parent! . Must say this place is the resort of all dog boarding places. I have to start with the moment we pulled into the parking lot. The building and landscape is amazing and looks like you are walking into a luxury hotel. When we walked in the doors the place smelled amazing and you wouldn't know that there were dogs inside. No odors at all. Rich gave us a tour and was amazing. He was knowledgeable and put us at ease being this was the first time we will be boarding our pets. He explained that everyone there is certified in dog cpr and have to pass tests before becoming an employee. During the tour he showed us the suites for the dogs. They are tiled rooms with TVs and dog couches!!! Everything was so clean and smelled amazing. Then he showed us all the dogs playing outside and we can't wait to have our dogs board here and play outside all day while being boarded. This place definitely cares about the dogs and we feel at ease boarding our dogs here when we go on vacation. I definitely recommend this place!!! read more

I was surprised to see such a low rating and then realized only 1 review is showing (Jesse P's 1 star review) and all the positive reviews are hidden. First, we have used K9 for week-long stays twice yearly both under the current management team and the prior owner, and we have had a positive experience each time. Our dog is a rescue and hates being confined so we love that she is able to stay in a large room instead of a typical kennel. She always seems excited to go back to play with other dogs and comes home clean and happy. Second, Jason P's experience is completely the opposite of what I've experienced. Whenever I book a stay, I am always quoted a price and informed of their policies and pick up time on the phone and then an invoice showing the cost breakdown is immediately emailed to me. Their fees and policies are also posted on their website so I find it hard to believe someone paying attention could be surprised by the cost. I highly recommend K9 for boarding. read more

I boarded my dog Ruth here for a week while on vacation. This is the first time I had boarded her with K9 Resorts and they took amazing care of Ruth. My dog has always had anxiety while boarded and I would get a call that she was sick and needed veterinary care. I was so pleased with the care Ruth received and no calls that she was sick. K9 Resorts worked with her and gave her the special care she needed. They knew going in she was difficulty but the people there really care about the service they proved and the individual dog. The facility is clean and the rooms are a nice size. Ruth came home happy, healthy and smelling wonderful. I am so glad that I no longer have to worry about where I am going to board my dog. I needed to board my dog because I had planned a trip. In the past, family and friends had taken her, and it was always a hassle and felt like a burden. I found K-9 Resorts. I took the tour, met the staff, and noted that the resort was nicer than where I was going to stay. The dogs that are boarded are evaluated to be with other dogs, so during the day, the dogs have play time all day. They allow the owner to chose the size of the area the dogs will be in overnight. The boarding facility is very clean, quiet and seems very stress free. The staff is so helpful, and they love the dogs, so it's just like having family or friends watching your pet. I was looking for a place to board my pup this summer. I called K9 Resorts at 11 am and asked if and when they do walk throughs to check out the boarding facilities. The person on the phone was very helpful and said that we could come in right away to check it out. When we arrived, the people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. They explained how the pricing and fees worked and explained what my pup would get each day of her stay. I was very impressed with the facilities of what I saw. I booked my pup's stay for this summer right then and there. They explained that if I could not go on that vacation for some reason or another, I would be able to move the dates to a different month and change the dates of my stay. We don't go away often, but when we do it's usually for several days, and it's of the utmost importance to us that our dog Sam is happy and well taken care of while we're gone. We are beyond thrilled with the loving care that Sam always enjoys at K9. He's always happy, healthy and clean when we pick him up, and it never fails that we hear stories and laughs from the staff about his time there. Sam is a large, male pitbull and has certainly faced some discrimination in his life, but the staff at K9 never even blinked at his breed. We appreciate that so much. Tomorrow Sam will return to K9 for a week long stay, and we are so happy that he'll be safe and sound with his friends on their staff!! read more

My girl Kelce loves going to K9 Resorts! Rich, Nick and all the staff that I have met are amazing. They are so friendly, and I leave there feeling Kelce is in good hands and well taken care of. I like how they post pictures throughout the day and I look to see Kelce! One picture all i say were her legs in the air...lol. So, i gather she was having fun!! K9 facility in Hamilton is second to none. I've been to a few doggie facilities and hands down this is the best in the area. My dog who suffers with separation anxiety absolutely LOVES it there! He gets so excited when we drop him off. The staff is super nice and always professional. I'm so happy that we finally found a facility that we are comfortable with. My pup Valentina has been going to K9 resorts for over a year. She has both boarded and attend daycare and I've never had any issue with my pup. Maybe one, since she's small pup (15 lbs) all her besties grow out of the small day care! :) The team there I consider her family and they have taken her in as her very own. Rich was thorough with all the details regarding my dogs stay, showed us around the very clean facility and made me feel instant comfort leaving my dogs here. The place is absolutely beautiful. It was the first time i ever boarded Max. The facility is extremely clean and Max came home very happy and exhausted lol. The staff was very nice and helpful and very caring of the pets there. K9 resorts tops any of the other doggie hotels/ day camp! My 4 month old puppy absolutely loved it. He got to play all day long with other dogs. K9 also posts pictures of your dog throughout the day so you can see what they are doing in which was such a sign of relief for me. A lot of other doggie hotels keep the dogs locked up all day and our dogs cannot enjoy themselves. My puppy previously stayed at another place and K9 in Hamilton definitely topped it by far! My husband and I rescued 2 puppies 5 months ago, had a pre planned 2 week vacation. I was really impressed with K9 resorts, especially after having a few other not so great daycare experiences. The staff are super friendly and seem to really care about the dogs. The facilities are clean, and spacious, not too many dogs in each area. A big perk for big dog owners is that it is escape artist friendly.
