I have been coming here for about a few years now and I've decided to return the favor by leaving a review because of all the above and beyond experiences I've had over the years. When Oso first came, he was always a little nervous so he'd like to pee on the lobby floor. I would be so embarrassed by that but they always told me that it was normal and they would help adapt him to the environment so his next visit wouldn't be so stressful. After a few times coming he's had the opportunity to work with Jay, Kenzie, and his favorite Tanner. Danielle is always so welcoming when I enter the salon to drop him off or to pick him up. Little things like remembering I like his grooming face shaped round and how they know he loves under his chin scratched. Each time he comes, he's leaving smelling so good and always looking so sharp. I love to see him in his bow ties. Tinkles me pink! I've not had one single problem with anyone that works here. I love the fact they are expanding and are getting the right care team in place to make more room for fur babies to join the family. Never had a problem with pricing or any harm to my handsome man. Oso is a sweet boy and enjoys his time being pampered. It's his only day he's away from his mama and boy oh boy does he love his little family away from home. What's the point of us making an appointment if it's 5 hours later and my dog still didn't even get on the table yet??? We had an 11am appointment and at 3:30 they told us she still wasn't on the table yet. Then at 5:30 they call and tell us that they're still finishing up with her but they can't give her a bath because she's too "stressed." In person they then blamed it on her skin, her hair, her teeth, you name it they blamed my dog for everything! Also told us she definitely needs a dental cleaning meanwhile she recently had one. I'm sorry, are you veterinarians or groomers?! She was stressed because she was in a cage for 5 hours...while I'm sure being hungry, thirsty, confused and definitely ignored. The groomer didn't do a bad job, but overall I just don't appreciate how my dog or us were treated. They never even apologized that it took so long or that they couldn't give her a bath. Instead of apologizing they just blamed my poor 15 year old dog for everything. Several of the workers there gave us an attitude. None of them apologized for the long wait. Definitely don't come here unless you plan on leaving your dog for 7 hours. Honestly the worst grooming place we've ever been to. read more

Hands down (or paws down) best groomers in Johnston county!!!! Every single staff member at Paws N Claws is super friendly and very helpful!!! They love their clients and their clients humans and it shows!! My fur baby Spacie personally gets pampered by Ms.Nadasha and we love her! I am so confident that Spacie is well looked after by Nadasha and I am beyond comfortable leaving her in her care! This says a lot because my family and I adopted Spacie this summer and we aren't really sure how exposed Spacie was to getting groomed on a regular basis or how well she was treated because she has very high anxiety. Nadasha is soooo patient with our Spacie girl! Spacie is not a fan of getting her nails done but Nadasha works with her even though our girl is a hand full, we are working at getting her more used to the process every single time!! I am so Thankful to have found Danielle and Rob when I first moved here in 2011. From day one they have been so good to my Sunny boy and treated him like their own. My Cooper boy arrived in 2017 and I began taking him there as well. Just liked Sunny they welcomed him with open arms. When you can ask your dogs "are you ready to go see Danielle" and they start jumping around and get so excited to the point they will not leave me alone until we are in the car. That tells me how comfortable they are with her and the whole group!I I would HIGHLY recommend Paws and Claws with no hesitation. We have somewhat of a difficult baby & were truly terrified to bring him anywhere fearing he would snap at someone but 2 minutes at the shop and he fell into Danielle's arms. She has a gift...."The Dog Whisperer!" He came out looking so stinkin adorable, we stared at him for days!! They are all so helpful, kind, informative and attentive. They carry unique & cool merchandise on-site. Their prices are phenomenal too!! I would recommend their services to anyone that loves their fur babies and wants to pamper or simply maintain their cleanliness. They will bring out a beauty you may have never seen. I absolutely LOVE Paws n Claws. They treat my girl, Oakley like family. We always get the Furminator package which includes Ear cleaning and plucking, De-Shedding shampoo and conditioner, Brush out with Furminator, Nail clipping, Anal glad expressing & Scented body spray​​. She ALWAYS sheds less for 4 weeks every time we see them. I pay less than $60, you can't beat that. (Prices may vary depending on how big your dog may be or if you choose a different package) She also always comes out with the most adorable bandanna. These guys are amazing. My one dog is a handful to say the least and they do such a great job at handling her. Today I brought in a stray that wandered onto my property to get her nails taken care of. I know nothing about the dog except for how sweet she's been. They took care of her with such grace, moved slowly as to not spook her and took care of her on HER terms. The dogs poor dewclaws were curling in on themselves and they gave me one to show. Needed an emergency grooming, am so grateful that Paws N Claws was able to accommodate my German Shepherd Drinda. The owners and staff are over the top with their professionalism and friendliness, I felt totally at home and welcome. My girl came out all relaxed, smelling and looking like a show dog. Excellent groomers & service. Took our little Shih Tzu there for the first time & we cannot say enough good things about the entire experience. First tho, our little girl was held & Calmed ever so sweetly as she can be quite anxious & frisky. That in & of itself, set the stage for us. Absolutely outstanding customer service! They went above and beyond to make sure me and my wife were happy.... The did a great job on all our dogs! Best of all they did such a great job on our Shepherds coats we hardly have to vacuum! Yeah! I am really picky who grooms our dogs because of past experiences. I've gone other places and they were ok.. this place gets my 5 stars because of the great people that work there, the love they show for all the animals and definitely the way Toby looks after we go there! I was amazed when I 1st walked into this establishment! It was very clean, more so than normal grooming salons and the staff and owners were more than welcoming! I have been taking my Morkie Poo here for the past 8 months or so. The staff is always very kind and helpful. My dog does no like being groomed but they are always able to cut his hair and do a fabulous job! My only complaint would be that they are usually booked for a few days do expect to get in right away. But that just shows how popular they are. read more

I took my two dogs in today to get their nails cut and dremeled and even though one of my dogs acted like she was being slowly killed, these ladies were very professional and handled it wonderfully! The prices are great and the ladies there are very personable. I highly recommend them and will definitely use their services again! read more

I have been taking my fur baby to Paws N Claws Grooming almost every month for the last year. They always do a great job. They have cameras all over to ensure the best care for all. I drive 25 minutes to take her there. I have tried a couple other groomers that are closer to my house but they did not do as great of a job. read more

They always do a great job with my two large dogs. Bath package and nail trims are the services I usually get. They are very patient with my goofy furbabies. Very easy to schedule appointments. Can usually be seen within a week of calling to schedule. Wonderful and friendly staff. Definitely a customer for life. read more

Scooby just went for his first groom! He looks ADORABLE! They did a great job. And most important... when we picked him up he was HAPPY. It was obvious that they treated him well.
