I just came to look and get stuff for my animals, I never go in there with anything specific in mind and while I was looking around the employees were talking to me and laughing with me the entire time. Overall just a really great experience and I will 100% be going here more often. They also have a really good selection of stuff for cats too! Most places are like 90% dogs stuff but there are brands of cat stuff here I've only ever been able to get online so knowing it's available here is great!

The prices are great and the staff sent us another message 2 weeks later asking how she was doing on the new food and If we had any questions to reach out to them. I wish I got the names of the two employees who helped me on Sunday, but I can't thank them enough…read morefor their help! I stopped by because I was so worried about my chihuahua's itchy skin from allergies and needed something to soothe her skin until her upcoming vet appointment. Both employees were so helpful, directing me to several options for topical creams, sprays, and ointments plus medicated shampoo and supplements that would help. Not only did they help me find the right products, but they gave me recommendations for a nearby vet and pet dermatologist, too! I left feeling so relieved and my chihuahua's allergy symptoms immediately improved when I gave her a bath with the shampoo and sprayed her itchy spots with soothing spray (both products recommended by the employees). She is feeling so much better and all the redness and flaky skin has disappeared, along with her itchiness. 10/10 customer service and I'm so happy the products worked so well!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel other pet owners should know about my experience…read more The day after my dog's grooming appointment, I discovered three large nicks on his shoulder and multiple cuts on his ear. When I contacted the salon, I was told they reviewed their footage and spoke with the groomer and found no evidence that my dog was injured there. I was also told that a veterinarian friend looked at photos and believed the cuts appeared to be old. That explanation doesn't add up. The injuries were discovered the very next day, so they weren't old. If my dog had arrived with visible cuts, I would expect the groomer to have documented them and informed me before or during the appointment. That never happened. What disappointed me most was how the situation was handled. Rather than showing concern or offering any resolution, I felt my concerns were dismissed. I was told they had no explanation for how it happened, but there was no accountability, and no attempt to make things right. I understand that accidents can happen. What matters is how a business responds when they do. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I can't recommend this groomer.

Everybody that works here is super friendly knowledgeable, and has top-tier customer service. Grace is amazing. She recommended me this food when I knew I wanted to try something different but I wasn't for sure where to go... my #1 main concern was being natural, healthy and helping maintain my dogs skin allergies + get rid of so much shedding. I have less shedding in my house almost none and my boys only itch bc they need to not bc their skin is undernourished. I had no issues with them not liking the food. My bigger dog eats and relaxes right after no excessive weight gain, didn't give my dogs excessive gas and I love the colostrum and the less cooking time they do on the food. I add sardines in water Monday, Wednesday and Friday! I was charged an additional $20 and had to listen to her tell me he had bad behavior and is a really bad dog. I was in shock! He's been to two groomers in his 4 years of life, plus one in MN and I've heard nothing but good things about my dog. One mentioned he didn't like getting his nails trimmed but that was normal. I was so upset when I left Chews 4 Paws, I contacted the groomer he has been going to for the last 2 years. She said that she has never had a problem with my dog and that he's skiddish but very well behaved and a very sweet dog. I told her about the experience I had with Chews 4 Paws and she said it sounds like it was more of a groomer problem than a dog problem. Some people shouldn't be working with dogs. Dogs sense good people and human energy. If my dog misbehaved it's because he didn't get treated well. I also noticed when I went to pick up my dog there were two of them trying to hold another dog down while they worked on him. The poor dog looked scared and miserable. I felt so bad for him. My dog was crying in the cage like he couldn't wait to get away from there. I've not seen him be so full of anxiety when picking him up from his normal groomer, or anywhere else for that matter. I think my groomer is right, it wasn't my dog that had bad behavior, it was Chews 4 Paws that had the bad behavior. I wonder how many others they have charged extra for "bad behavior"? When I told my normal groomer that Chews for Paws charged an additional $20 for bad behavior, she laughed and thought it was ridiculous. If you're a professional and know what you're doing, you don't need to charge extra. What a scam!!!!

Before I left the store I saw the wound and she acted surprised. However, there is no way she was not aware of what she did. My poor pup is now en route to the vet to possibly get stitches/surgery. My dog had other nicks in addition to this one. I support local businesses but in light of the other reviewer who posted something similar, I had to post so that the business will take this seriously. I wish the groomer had told me what had happened.
