Today, 5/6/26 around 10am, I brought my 8-month-old Pomeranian here for daycare and a "greet & meet," exactly like they instructed me to do when I first visited last Friday to check out the facility. When I arrived, one of the staff members tried to put a leash on my dog but couldn't, so she asked me to do it instead. I had no problem helping and put the leash on myself. However, as I was walking back to my car, she removed the leash for some reason, ran outside with my dog, and told me she couldn't take him, couldn't train him, and that I needed to find a private trainer instead. What confuses and frustrates me is that I specifically brought my dog here because I was looking for professional help with training and socialization. He's only 8 months old, and instead of even attempting to work with him, they immediately refused him over something as basic as putting on a leash. The entire experience felt unprofessional and poorly handled. They wasted my whole morning, and I ended up late for work because I planned my schedule around dropping him off here. A little communication, patience, or honesty upfront would have gone a long way. read more

I first contacted Louise and she took the time to go over all the details and answered all my questions.Todd did an amazing job training Marlin with basic commands, and taught us how to continue with the training at home. Todd trained Marlin to load up into the car, making it significantly easier for me to take him to the groomer or the vet. Normally, this process took at least an hour to plan out, but with the training, it only took less than two minutes for Marlin to hop in the car. read more

What a wonderful facility! My bf and I were going to be out of town for the weekend and we didn't have anyone who could watch our dog. After doing some research, we found Paws Chateau and thought it was worth giving a try due to the many positive reviews. I really liked that they had an initial first meeting/temperament test to see how your dog plays with other dogs. They had a board in the front welcoming him, which was so cute!! Our dog is very playful and he's a husky mix so he likes to play rough so I was pretty worried that it might be too much. Turns out I was worried about nothing because he played just fine! They had a tv in the drop off area for you watch the play area! That first day was also a free day camp/daycare day which was amazing. They told us we could come back in a couple of hours to pick him up so that was nice. Upon picking him up, they had a report card with comments of how he did. He was knocked out that night. Day comes where we leave him for the weekend. The drop off time is after 3PM so he did get some play time in. We had opted for the deluxe suite since that had a camera in his room and we were able to watch him overnight. He was pretty stressed that first night and was in and out of sleep, which had me worried as it was his first time boarding. But as the days passed, he definitely got better and would sleep through the nights just fine. When we dropped him off, I had asked if they could give him a bath when we picked him up and they were able to do that! I didn't ask for the price but honestly they did a great job. He smelled so good after. They had a promo at the time where if he stayed three nights consecutively the fourth night was free so we did that. So in total, it was $311 for four nights and one bath. They also had a report card for this stay which is now on the fridge. Honestly no boarding is perfect imo. But this place comes pretty close. I would absolutely come back again in the future because riku had such a great time! read more

Hi! I'm not one to usually write reviews but I think it's sad that this place won't allow my dog to come all because he is a pitbull mix.. He is a highly trained therapy dog who goes to doggy daycare on a regular with no issues. Loves people, kids and dogs. We literally live in community that is setup for off leash, fun and doggy get togethers... I do understand they have a right to do as they please but im tired of the judgement of my breed when my dog is a good boy and I'm a responsible owner... also my dog is the one that always get the awards in school for being the best boy... He was used in puppy academy to train all the new puppies that came in. I feel these daycare should come at clients differently and if they are highly trained they know how to work with all breeds.. do better. We sent our Frenchie, Athena, to the one-week board and train, and the results were nothing short of magic. Before training, she was an anxious, reactive little hell hound. We used to joke about telling people she was a rescue, even though we've had her since birth. It was that real. Since moving, her anxiety had gotten worse, and we were dealing with nipping, constant stress, and the looming fear that no one would be able to care for her if we traveled. From the start, the team made us feel seen and supported. No judgment, just solutions. They worked with Athena's personality, not against it, and she came back calmer, happier, and honestly... regal. They even sent a video of her calmly waiting for a command before fetching a toy. I had to double-check it was actually her. Now, she's less anxious when I leave the room, more responsive to boundaries, and I feel more confident in reinforcing her structure at home. I can't say enough about my recent experience here! We were so impressed! We've taken our King Charles Cavalier to many places and this by far exceeded all of our expectations. Everyone is helpful and welcoming. The facility is clean and and they are very organized. I left my dog for the meet and greet and she had a great time! After picking her up after being boarded for five days, she was very happy and acted normal when we got home. She was exhausted from all of the playtime with all of her new friends. They are flexible and they have great hours. I highly recommend Paws Château for doggy daycare or boarding your dog. I am so grateful for my friend who told me about this business. We love this place. Our dog has come here for doggie day care. Also, we boarded our dog here and feel like she is safe and cared for. There was a camera to watch her in her room and in the play area. Our dog is very attached to us so she has some seperation anxiety. We noticed she was back in her room and got worried so we called. Louise explained she wasn't eating a lot and they were trying to do many methods to get her to eat a little more. At night we even saw one of the staff sit on the floor in her room and try to hand feed her. We loved how they cared so much and were trying different methods to get her to eat more. We boarded her there again and she did much better. They have great events for the dogs and you can tell it's a place that they love dogs. read more

Very disappointed in this place. I've been bringing my puppy golden retriever here for daycare almost every Wednesday for the last couple of months. No appt has been needed. All of a sudden today I showed up and the owner comes out and says to me we're not taking anymore for day care today. And that I needed an appointment. I said it would've been nice to let people know this ahead of time. She said it's on all our social accounts. Ok well what if we don't have them on social media?! I drove 20 min there to drop my dog off then had to drive home to drop her off and was late for work thanks to the unprofessionalism of this company. Needless to say I won't be back. And not to mention the dogs come home from there smelling like pee since they don't offer any grass just a dirty warehouse where they lay in their own urine all day. No thanks Update: after checking their social media page (Instagram) there is no mention they are full for daycare like I was told yesterday. Upon signing up at this facility I was told day care is walk in except Saturday's as their sign on the door says. This owner is a liar. Don't take your dog here. We used Paws Chateau for the first time for a 3 day/2 night stay. Our stay was unique because our little 3yo Bichon had knee surgery weeks ago. He had to stay in a suite the whole time, absolutely no play time with other dogs. When I picked him up, I was greeted with a lot of wonderful adjectives about my dog. I knew they spent a lot of time with him just by the way Louise talked about him. She said she couldn't wait for him to come back for a real play stay. Back story. When I called to ask about our unique stay, I was transferred to Louise. Her voice is very comforting, and you can tell she unquestionably loves her job. Louise took all the necessary information and asked for me to bring our dog in for a meet and greet. See how he likes to be handled by humans since he won't be around other dogs for play time. The moment she met my dog, she picked up on his ques right away. You can see the love right away. She definitely found her passion. I highly recommend Paws Chateau. I truly love this place, the staff are so warm and really look after our pup. We have a German shorthaired Pointer with lots of energy. He always comes home so happy and actually tired , which is great for him. We love using this place for day care and boarding. They make sure all pets are up to date in vaccines and give you plenty of notice before they are due. No last minute scrambling here! They know your pet! It's clean and well kept , they have cameras and separate the dogs by size and sometimes personality. We always see them post our pup in videos etc ! 2 hour Meet & Greet. This is for the dog not the owner. You drop off your dog and are asked to come back in 2 hours. So what do I think; I don't know..... the lobby is cute and clean with no smell of dogs. This was very nice. There were a lot of papers to complete which would have been nice if available on-line prior to my visit. The staff seem friendly and when I picked up my pup he seemed fine with no distress. What I didn't like.... You cannot tour the facility. You drop off your dog and leave. For all I know he was locked in a kennel for the entire time. Although he seemed tired. I was not taken to see the play areas, any parts of the facility, or the other dogs. I did receive a report card type thing explaining how and what he did....ok. Difficult for me to assess as I really know nothing about the place. Parking is up the ramp to the free structured lot top floor all the way to the end. I cannot recommend at this time only because I just don't know. I have no pictures because I saw nothing but the front lobby and there are pics already posted. read more

I went here years ago with a friend who was looking for places to leave her pup. She did and the experience was fantastic! She was able to watch her fur-baby online. The way they have separate play areas and common as well as suites etc makes this place special. This was before the majority of dog parks were opening up. My dog recently had her first overnight stay at Paws Chateau and it went very well! It was our 6-year-old pug's very first boarding experience since we adopted her, thus we were a bit nervous about how it would go. We won't worry anymore and will be bringing her back for future stays! I loved being able to see her anytime on the doggie cam and each time we checked (over the course of her 4 night stay) she always looked happy and I noticed that the staff looking over the pups were very affectionate towards all the dogs and Yoko even got some lap time with one of them :) On the morning we picked her up we requested a bath for her and she was so clean and fluffy. Thank you Paws Chateau staff for being patient with her as she adjusted to this new experience. We feel good knowing we have a safe and loving place for her here in town. read more

They are absolutely the best !!! Louise and Peter are very conscientious and keep in touch with you via email or text if you happen to be traveling out of the country, as we were when we went to Tahiti in April on a very long cruise. And we ended up being quarantined on the island in Tahiti for five extra days and they accommodated our needs extraordinarily! It was such a relief to not have to worry about our fur babies. This was not the first time we had a "extended" vacation unexpectedly as 2 1/2 years ago when we went to Las Vegas I ended up in the hospital with an appendicitis for an extra week. Paws Chateau was fabulous and made sure our babies didn't skip a beat. When you traveled extensively and pay a lot of money for a vacation it's comforting to know that your doggies are in the best hands. read more

Louise and the rest of her staff are absolutely amazing and super sweet! The services they offer are just perfect for our situation, for picking up from our home to dropping our dog back off later in the evening. Also, when I asked if they could assist my folks with bringing and taking our dog to and from the home, they were very willing to help! The doggie cams are also very helpful in observing what happens at daycare. I've become a helicopter mom after our last nightmare when our dog came home with scratches and gash masks from another daycare. We definitely trust Louise and her staff! PAWS DOWN... BEST PET FACILITY! Finding a service that has the same values you have when caring for your beloved pet can be very trying. We have been to multiple pet day care facilities and Paws Chateau paws down is our preferred location for our Bernedoodle pup to go to. It is quite a distance from our work and home. But.... I can log on to the doggie cam any time to watch my furbaby playing or resting. The staff.... outstanding! Louise is amazing and it flows throughout her genuinely caring team. Which is a huge plus. Our furbaby has been boarded at Paws Chateau a few times as well. Deluxe suites with beds and cameras to check on your pup is so nice when you are away. He comes home with a cute report card too. The facility is so clean and its so nice that our pup doesn't come home stinky. They also have bathing service which he loves. The staff is really good at communicating and always available to answer questions. My friends tease me that we have a boujee pup but all we want is a clean and safe environment for him... we found it here at Paws Chateau! When your pup runs into the lobby and can't wait to get inside to play with his furriends, you know you've hit the jackpot. Thank you is not enough for Louise, Peter and Paws Chateau team. Location : Beach / Talbert, parking is located on the second level for larger dogs I dropped my dog off for his first time, a two hour temperament test. Check in went smoothly and off he went. Two hours later, pick up was fairly quick and he looked so happy! Everybody was extremely friendly and I got a great vibe from the location. Best of all, whenever you need day care, you can drop in anytime ! The only thing I would like to see is, live camera feeds throughout the day (accessible to clients). I have multiple cameras at home and love spying on my dog haha. Maybe something to add for 2020??! read more

I've taken both my dogs here when I've been out of town and they love this place. The staff is always friendly and helpful and I love the report cards they get when we pick them up. I really want to point out that Louise took the time to call when we were out of town. Looking over our forms she called and made an alternative recommendation for the health of our dogs.
