I love this concept of having the groomer come to you me and my boyfriend have a new puppy and he was so excited to meet. MATT had a great experience looked absolutely adorable. This group is kind educated and extremely convenient from other people I talk to you maybe it is on the pricier side but it sure beats having your pet being locked in a crate all day. Well they wait to get around to them. I love this experience. We love that and look forward to seeing them again because we already have another appointment scheduled. read more

Absolutely incredible experience. Sara treated my two-legged dog with so much patience, kindness, and love. It's not easy finding a groomer who truly understands special-needs dogs. Turbo has experienced such anxiety with grooming in the past, not with Sara!!! She made Turbo feel comfortable and safe the entire time. He looked amazing, and my dog came out happy and relaxed. There is no doubt that Sara loves these dogs and treats them like family. I'm beyond grateful and wouldn't trust any other groomer to care for him. read more

No mor DIY grooming!!! Oh my goodness! I think she took 10 years off my old doggie's appearance and energy level! Scrub A Pup shaved her down perfectly, shaped her little face beautifully, and got rid of all the dirty mats caused by licking. My little 16 year old dog is prancing around like a puppy again! Thank you so much for the excellent service, being on time, and for being so wonderful and caring with pets. Highly recommend! read more

I'm frustrated to say the least. Sarah and Scrub-A-Pup are simply the best. Why am I frustrated, because we moved out of the area and no one can follow the professional and caring approach Sarah has taken with my Dogs. One has since passed at 15 years old but my boy Rocky needs a Sarah. He's not easy with his emotions and energy but truly is an amazing family dog and phenomenal athlete. Sarah knows how to handle him and he's learned to respect her! My Son now uses Sarah for his dog and he too would go nowhere else. Even since I've moved I've texted with Sarah to get advice on a new groomer and she's been extremely helpful. I may just have to drive into Orange County every 6 weeks to get Rocky cleaned up. I don't think I have a choice. BTW, 5 stars is not enough, this is a 10++++ service! read more

Great experience...On a scale of 1-10 I give a 10 plus. She did an outstanding job well done on all three dogs today.. Dec 8th 2023. Outstanding service, and she was gentle and kind.:) My dogs love her !!! And so do I !!! Thank you and Merry Christmas ! read more

I am THRILLED with our groomer we had come to the house today!! I wasn't sure what to expect & I am glad I didn't have any expectations. It allowed me to sit back and trust the process. My golden had an appt at a local groomers prior. He has a bit of a stubborn personality along with hes a big boy, and the groomer had some issues with him laying down refusing to move. And while it was both serious and funny, I never want my animal somewhere there is stress, as well as the cause of any. So I messaged this company and shared he might be stubborn. He loves loves loves LOVE and he is a ham. They assured me they could handle him and set the appt. MEAGAN was AMAZING! She took him into the mobile van & when he returned he was so clean and handsome of course, but HAPPY most of all. He loved it. He even ran to the door to kiss her goodbye again. She had zero issues with him and said he listened to all her instructions and behaved so well. I am THRILLED we chose to go with SCrub a Pup and if you are having doubts, look no further. My two goldens are my world. They are my everything and it takes a lot for me to trust leaving them with someone. I trust Meagan with my entire heart. She even dealt with us humans well. ;) PLus the cost was good and the service exceptional. thank youuuuu! read more

Wonderful experience with Scrub A Pup. I text messaged last night and was lucky to snag a canceled appointment for this morning. My groomer was Meagan, she showed up on time and was very professional. I have a 5-month-old Australian Labradoodle and this was his first time getting groomed. He was very happy and handsome when she was done. 10 out of 10 would recommend and I am so happy I found a permanent groomer for my pup read more

Scrub a pup has been cleaning my two high-anxiety, full-of-fur German Shepherds for a few years now and are SO great with them. They never ever complain when my dogs refuse to get in the damn van. Instead they laugh it off and always make me feel better when I feel so awful about my dogs being a pain. My dogs come out of the van smiling, clean as can be and don't shed whenever you just touch them. Not to mention they come out wearing the cutest holiday-themed, or season-themed bandanas. Scrub a pup is sooo good to my Romy and Kingston and I always, always will recommend them to everyone I know! Nothing better than a company that will come to your house to clean your dogs one-by-one, so they are never left sitting alone and sad in a kennel. They take their time and legitimately CARE about every animal as if it were their own. Thank you, thank you, Scrub a pup! read more

I know times are tough. We are all worried about staying safe. I wanted to specifically address the safety protocols Scrub A Pup is taking. After our Pomerania, Mr Mick, was groomed I was talking with the owner, Sara. She was doing her usual cleaning of the van. I was totally amazed at the detailed cleaning. She sprayed cleaner everywhere and I mean everywhere. Cabinet handles, nooks and crannies. Wiped out spotless. I thought she was done and was impressed. She then sprayed a special mist, some kind of sanitizer. Anyway I could go on but then I'd miss the best part, the work she did on our doggo. He wears one of those fancy cuts, like teddy bear or something. That's one of those that takes years of practice to get right. Sara is truly an artist. She knows what works with his hair so that it will grow out without damage. Sara is in high demand and I can see why. Thank you Scrub A Pup for staying open. It can't be easy putting yourself at risk during this pandemic. read more

I first heard of this awesome groom mobile through randomly searching on the web for a grooming place when I used to have a shih-tzu. I never knew this type of service existed and sparked my interest, so I decided to give it a try. How it works is you call to make an appointment, then they'll drive to your place and groom your pets (for dogs only) right on your front yard! How convenient is that? During the times I used this service, I was never disappointed at how my dog turned out. The price range for my dog was usually 65 dollars. For his first time, it costed around 70-75 dollars to get a fur cut for his terrible knots he provided, trimmed nails, scented shampoo, cleaned ears, brushed teeth for his terrible breath and nearly unhealthy gums, and eliminated his terrible eye boogers. It does get pricey but I love my dog and how he turned out afterwards, so can't put price on what or who you love, right? Just like any other grooming shop, it depends on what kind of works you need or want for your dog then the price will vary from there. Usually when I call, there's always a woman making the appointments but a man would always come to groom my dog. So I'm guessing a family or a married couple runs this mobile service. Very friendly and very helpful when asked for suggestions. Well worth every penny spent. Unfortunately, I don't possess pictures of my shih-tzu anymore, but here's a link to pictures of how certain dogs look after their groom by Scrub-a-Pup: http://www.scrubapupmobile.com/photos.html read more

I used Scrub-a-Pup for the first time this week for my 2 pups, a terrier mix (haircut) and chiweenie (bath) and it was an awesome experience! It was super fast and easy to book the appt via text and they even gave me an 2 hour arrival window ahead of time. My groomer arrived towards the end of the window, but that was totally okay since I was able to plan ahead. Lauren was their groomer and she was very friendly & I explained to her that my dogs get timid/nervous with new people and she was very kind and careful with them and she let them warm up to her before putting them in the van. Both dogs went in together and it only took about 1.5hrs for both. They came out looking SO GREAT! The price was a little more expensive, but definitely worth the convenience of them coming to you & the quality of service (& the cute little bandanas they got too:) I'd definitely recommend Scrub-a-Pup! read more

I just have to say that my experience with scrub a pup was fantastic! I have a 9 month old Bernedoodle that is a full of energy. We LOVE Megan! She came on time and Ringo immediately took to her. I can't say enough about how happy I am with the whole experience. She listened to all of my concerns and I explained that Ringo is a tough customer! ( it was only his second time being groomed). A few hours later he emerged, looking absolutely darling and so happy. I highly recommend this company and especially Megan! Ringo can't wait to see her again in a couple of months! read more

Scrub a Pup is a wonderful service. My dog has allergies and was in a really bad way with his skin and fur. He had sores and swelling and I couldn't take him to a regular groomer because he would scratch himself relentlessly while waiting to be picked up. I looked up mobile groomers online to avoid the cage time my dog would have to spend by taking him in. I found Scrub a Pup, called and immediately spoke to Sara regarding my dog and what I was looking for. She was very helpful, attentive and was able too book me for an appointment within the week. Megan grooms my dog and has done a great job. I have my dogs allergies under control now. But I really like the customer service and convenience. It's a bit more expensive than other groomers, but that's to be expected and I think it's worth it. read more

I am so pleased with this mobile grooming company! I called this morning and left a voicemail as a first time client, hoping they would be able to get Charlie in today. Sarah called me back right away and was very sweet and professional. She sent Megan over, who arrived right on time. Charlie can be a little skiddish with new people but Megan was so great with him! I could tell he felt comfortable with her after just a few minutes. When she brought him back after his treatment he looked and smelled amazing! I am so happy with the job she did! I unfortunately didn't even get to experience this businesses service. Nevertheless I wanted to share my experience because of how this company conducts business! Because I feel it is equally important as the way they treat animals. I asked my new vet to recommend a groomer. He only gave me 1 name & it was this one. I was excited to have his referral. II looked them up online & composed an email, then sent it to the owner Sara as their website indicates. They listed a ph# & an email address & stated you could f/u via either format. My email was detailed as my dog has some health concerns. As the vet stated I should let her know up front. I was anxious to hear back. But no response! In the meantime, just in case, I emailed from 2 different email addresses. I emailed like 6x total. I couldn't imagine why a business would NOT respond?! I also sent a short email stating, if you're not interested please let me know so I can go elsewhere. Finally I sent one asking why Sara wasn't getting back to me. It didn't matter what emails or how many I sent, as she never responded! I emailed thinking she's a mobile groomer & busy grooming or driving to her next destination. I was trying to make it easy for her to get back to me at her leisure. Today I finally got angry, being left hanging SO long. I called the # & she answered. But her phone kept cutting out. She asked could call in an hour. I said, "yes please!" But she didn't call back in an hour, she called back 4 hours later! (Didn't say why!) I told her I had been trying to reach her via email & her response was, "ya, I don't really check my email, I'm really bad about that." I said, "well your website states we can reach out via email or by phone." She didn't reply to that. She said, "I have a msg on my VM stating we aren't taking new clients & tells them to text if they want to be added to a waiting list, if a spot opens." When I called, she answered her ph so I didn't get VM! Besides, her website nor Yelp acct indicates she's not taking new clients. Her business practices are very immature & rude! I wouldn't do business w/ someone who is a flake. At the end, she tried to refer me to her groomer friend & indicated, "I trust her!" I thought, good for you, but I don't trust YOU! Her opinion doesn't matter, I don't trust her! Her credibility is a joke! I told her I wouldn't have gone to SO much trouble to pursue her & being left hanging if my dog's vet hadn't made the recommendation! Ultimately I was left hanging for 2 1/2 weeks, & that is NOT okay! Nobody deserves that kind of experience! It was rude, thoughtless & not the way to conduct business! I will be certain to let my vet know as well! The last sentence she said to me was, "sorry I didn't get back to you" to which I said, "me too!" Then that was the end of my conversation with her! I am LIVID she wasted my time! To find out it was because she's "bad at checking her emails!" Is she 12? If you don't want emails, take the verbiage off your website! She had the audacity to ask if I wanted to be added on their wait list! I thought, SERIOUSLY?! You think I'm going to actually hire you after the way I was treated?! They force you to leave at least 1 star. But does she NOT deserve it! read more
