I have 1 little puggy girl who is our baby!!! I was nervous to leave her with a place that was unfamiliar because she's always just been with family when not with us. We both work anywhere between 4-5 days a week and I felt so bad leaving my little girl alone all day while we were gone so I decided to check this place out. I met with the owner LeNay for the first "interview" and she was awesome, and you could really tell she opened Ruff Life Resort for the right reasons. Penelope has been here 2 times already and she loves it. They sent me photos and even a video throughout the day of her playing with another little dog and it made me so happy. She comes home and sleeps the rest of the evening because she's so tuckered out. It's great socialization for her to play with her kind and great for us that evening at least...it's like a free night for the hubby and me because she just sleeps. haha. Puppies have so much energy! Love this place! Wish I could send her here like 3 times a week.She always comes back happy, and the place is spotless. They take them on multiple walks a day, and are always supervised. read more

Andrea was very friendly! She communicated with me and answered all my questions even after hours. Took my dog in for a bath and cut the next day and she did a very good job. She did exactly what I wanted with my baby's hair cut. My dog looks very clean, smells good and a happy one! Will definitely go back to her! I only paid $30 in total. We LOVE RLR! I have been bringing my fur baby Kygo here for about four months now, 2-3 days every week. I am so glad I found a place I can trust and not have to worry about. I have been to a couple other daycares and let me tell you-big difference in this one. RLR is always SO clean and my pup doesn't come home smelling like pee. The owners LeNay and Andrea are super sweet and you can tell they are passionate about dogs, and will treat every dog like they are their own. Kygo loves it here and gets excited every time I tell him "we're going to go see Aunties!" He's become good pals with some of the other regular pups and it's great socialization for him. It's also great for him to be active and he always knocks out good after we pick him up. They work on a schedule for every dog and that includes daily walks which is great. They also have grooming/bathing and overnight boarding. I would definitely have peace of mind leaving my baby in their hands for future trips! read more

I have 4 fur babies: Maxx, Lola, Thor, and Loki. After moving from Tustin I have had a difficult time finding a daycare for Lola, Thor & Loki (Maxx is 14 1/2 years old and is like a cat). I was taking the dogs to Sanders K-9, but after some recent reviews I became uncomfortable taking them there. I started looking around yelp and came across Ruff Life Resort. My husband got in contact with LeNay about pricing and LeNay encouraged us to bring the pups for an evaluation with Andrea. We went and met with Andrea and immediately I fell in love. The first thing I noticed was how clean it was. There was no smell and the facility was spotless. It was a huge difference from the last place we went to. Andrea spent over an hour with us evaluating the dogs and talking about how they run their daycare. Andrea explained that they like to take the dogs on 2-3 walks when they are at the daycare full day. Andrea asked us to go on a walk with the dogs so she can evaluate how they are on leash. I really appreciated the thorough evaluation because it made me feel that Andrea cared about our dogs and that every other dog that will be coming into the facility will be appropriate. Andrea told us since they are new they are offering 1st daycare for free so we tried them out and decided to buy a 30 day pass. So for we've taken the dogs 3 times and really appreciate Andrea & Brittany. Andrea texts my husband throughout the day and gives us updates about the dogs. I would HIGHLY recommend Ruff Life for pawrents who need a trustworthy place to drop of their dogs. They also offer grooming and baths at a great price. I was in town with my puppy & I needed to get a few things done so I brought him here for the day. Right when I walked in, I knew my Tommy (4 month yorkie)was gonna be in great hands & have a blast. Staci & the staff were extremely friendly! The decor of this place was extremely appealing to eye & very clean! When I came back to pick him up, he was happy & tired- so I knew he had a great day! I can't tell you how happy I am to have found the Ruff Life Resort. Andrea and her crew are beyond competent & caring. I have a very active "escape artist" Shiba Inu and am always nervous about leaving him with those who might underestimate his skills. After just a few trips to Ruff Life I feel so confident my little one is not only safe but truly being cared for. Prices are so reasonable, facility beyond clean, and staff an absolute joy to deal with. They even send photos & video of my little one!! We had our house tented and needed somewhere to board our dog Pete. Everybody at Ruff Life really went above and beyond to make sure that we felt comfortable. He looked great when we picked him up and it was really sweet to see how much they loved him... they even pointed out some things that we should ask the vet about and taught him a coupe of tricks! If you're looking for a groomer that will take the time to treat your fur baby like family, then this is the place for you. I was taking my dogs to a big name groomer, but I like to "shop local" and support local businesses. I thought I'd give this place a try. My dogs were very nervous at first, but by the time I was leaving, they were eating treats there. THAT NEVER HAPPENS! I look forward to bringing them here again. read more

This place is amazing! I have to admit I am one of those dog owners who can never vacation or leave my dog just anywhere because she can be a handful! I was amazed upon meeting the staff at how educated, responsible and knowledgeable each one of the staff members actually were! They love and genuinely care about each dog in their care and you can tell the dogs are having a blast! Can you believe there is someone on site 24hrs a day? As well as a Vet Tech? Ruff Life has been a lifesaver! We recently had to put one of our dogs to sleep leaving us with a very anxious 14 year old Springer Spaniel that cannot be left alone for more than a few hours. Luckily Ruff Life just opened in our area and I had a great conversation with Andrea who eased my concerns. Andrea has tons of veterinary experience and genuinely loves animals. She also gets that at 14 my dog needs some alone time, and there's plenty of space for that. My dog is doing great in day care and is tired, but not overly exhausted when she gets home. She goes on 2-3 walks per day and gets plenty of love and attention from the staff. Definitely check it out, the first day is free so you have nothing to lose. If nothing else let Andrea give your dog a bath. She uses a blackberry shampoo that smells divine! read more

Andrea is a dream when it comes to dogs. We have 2 dogs in our home - 1 who has way too much energy and the other that is incredibly fearful of new people. When she first met our dogs they immediately took to her presence and she was essentially our "dog whisperer." I am so glad I found this doggie daycare to board my 10-year old poodle over the winter holidays. I was leaving on vacation for 10 days and after looking at other pet boarding centers, I was worried I wouldn't be able to find a place that I could trust. Then I found RLR on Yelp, and this place was a true lifesaver! Andrea and LeNay are just wonderful people - you can tell that they really love dogs and are very knowledgeable in what they do. They let me bring Mia to visit their facilities, took her for a walk, and explained in detail what a typical day would look like for her and some of the things they would do to make sure she felt safe and comfortable around the other dogs. What I liked most about this place is that it isn't overcrowded like the other centers I visited. The other dogs that were there were super cute and sweet, and the facilities are really clean and tidy, just like the pictures you see here on Yelp. While I was away on vacation Andrea kept me updated on Mia's progress via WhatsApp and sent me daily pictures of her -- this made me feel at ease and I was able to enjoy my vacation knowing that she was in good hands. When I picked up Mia, she looked happy and really cute after getting a "welcome home" bath. Andrea and LeNay even gave her some treats and toys as Christmas presents!
