After many years of taking multiple dogs to Pawprints on Allen street and purchasing merchandise I was shocked at the attitude of the employee on the phone. I only took my dogs on Niagara street after they closed the business on Allen. I didn't want to travel that far. I always gave a great tip and trusted the groomer. We have great interaction and she did a great job grooming my baby. I didn't like the cut and contacted them. I asked did someone else groom my dog because I didn't like it. She immediately made excuses and said "If you don't like it you get go elsewhere" I was shocked and pissed off. Haven't returned. Will not spend money where I am disrespected. PS Place never smelled clean and sometimes my dog smelled like kennel after grooming, which made me have to air out my vehicle. But that was the last straw, telling me to go somewhere place else if I didn't like it. BYE read more

I'm giving a 3 star review because of the woman at the front desk. She is entirely rude so I will not be coming back to this location. She was heavier dark brown haired woman could be of Latin decent but I am not sure. I called after dropping Apollo off just to see how he was doing and if he was ready. My legit words on the phone were, "Hello, my name is Rose I just dropped off Apollo and I am wondering if he is done or if it will take a more time." The response she decided to give a paying customer was rather than simply answering my question, she chose to answer my question with a question which is always rude when it comes to CUSTOMER SERVICE or life in general. I would know having worked in that field. It could also make a dog owner cautious if they're being treated rudely over the phone...how are they treating my dog? She said, "I thought I said to call at 2:30?" Now I'm always a polite person so I don't get into spats like this. No time. My mature response was, "I understand" and waited for a more polite answer. All she had to say was he wasn't ready. Duh. No need for an attitude. Then she said to call back at 2:30pm. I just hung up because I knew I would not call I will be right there at 2:30pm wait and make sure my dog is okay. I call early all the time to pick up my dog because most places just leave them in a cage to bark. He's good at grooming because I wash him at home. It doesn't take too long with him. I'd rather pick him up especially if he's done early. He's not a barker unless he has to. So I'd rather not get him into the habit of barking his head off. I got a bad vibe from the place after waiting outside for my ride I saw a Maltese break from her leash, run from her owner downtown the street into the adjacent parking lot and run around the car from her owner in fear of the impending grooming. I almost didn't want to leave my love bug after seeing that. Animals are smart, maybe that lovely little dog had a bad experience. So you can easily understand why I called just to see if he was ready and check in on him. When I showed up at 2:30pm. He was not ready. I was then told to come back 15 minutes later. I did, but was late to work where as the Allentown location is always done early; as is every other dog grooming location that I've ever taken my dog to. Every other employee I encountered was nice, but I had to write a review on this one. I never got her name. They are a lot more courteous at the Allentown location so I recommend that one. I will not be returning to this location. I only accepted this appointment because the Allentown location was completely booked and for good reason. read more

Love the staff here! My puppy had an evaluation for Doggy daycare and it was for three hours. When I went to pick him up they gave me a full report on how he did and who he made friends with! They even post daily photos of the dog groups on their Facebook pages everyday so you can see what they are up to! Highly recommend this place for daycare! read more

This review is for the daycare side of the business - I haven't tried the grooming side. You have to reserve in advance, and the drop-off/pick-up hours are restricted, but I rarely have trouble reserving a spot for our small dog, and the positive aspect is that I think they control the group size well - our dog seems comfortably worn out but not enervated at the end of the day, as compared to some of the more crowded doggie daycares. The outdoor play area gives them a lot of space to run around. The staff is generally friendly; some people are excited to tell us what our dog got up to during the day. But the absolute number one reason we love this place is because they pretty reliably post pictures to Facebook each day. We always check to see if there are pictures of our dog, and we're usually not disappointed - I think they try to get at least one of every dog. We use a few daycares depending on our needs, but this has sometimes made the difference when we're deciding which one to pick. read more

We love Pawprints! The staff are so friendly and know my dogs so well every time we come in. I feel extremely comfortable leaving Jake and Zoie at Pawprints for daycare or boarding knowing that they are in the best care. I love that they keep the daycare groups of dogs small and are constantly monitoring them throughout the day even posting pictures on their Facebook page for us to check in on. They have great groomers who keep our pups looking fantastic (they pretty much sparkle when we pick them up). There is also a salt water pool that they open up in the warmer months for the dogs to swim which, my dogs live for. After a full day of daycare, our pups are so exhausted and sleep like angels! This place is our dogs heaven and we are so thankful we found them. read more
