If you're reading reviews prior to July 2023, you're not getting an accurate picture of PAWS. Fetch 'n Catch took over operations of the facility around July of last year. The reviews for Paws Play and Stay are for a different facility than PAWS Canine Activity Center. I'm not sure what I could say about PAWS that my dog Bailey hasn't already said about Fetch 'n Catch (you can read her review under the Yelp listing for Fetch 'n Catch). This place is run by a fun, energetic, dedicated staff of dog-lovers. Their hours are super convenient and the service they provide is unmatched. Before I found Fetch 'n Catch / PAWS, I was paying a local dog walking company over $30 for a thirty-minute walk. For not much more, Bailey gets an entire day of exercise and learning. We reinforce her door manners and commands at home, and she's a much happier dog because of it. It's also really convenient to be able to get Bailey's baths, nail trimmings, and tooth brushings done on her school days. We do our booking online, but you can also call, text, or stop in. I recommend PAWS / Fetch 'n Catch to every dog owner I meet. They are worth their weight in gold! read more

I DO NOT recommend Paws Play and Stay, the one star is for cleanliness, and that's where the positivity ends. Found this location online, needed a one day a week daycare for our 4 month old Beagle puppy, and wanted it for his socialization as well. Took him for a meet and greet and he did great (as we expected!), we set up a half day introductory daycare appt and two full days after that, as that is what they require. After the first half day, I was informed at pick up that he wasn't a good fit because he barked during crate time and it was an anxious "attention getting" bark. They offered to try a 2nd half day to try a quieter crating area. Within 1 hour of drop off I was called to pick him up since NOW he was barking during play. I was told to call upon arrival because the door would be locked since they had him secluded in the empty grooming salon, alone. Unbelievable. When someone came to open the door they were carrying our puppy as if to shove him in my arms the moment I entered. I was told he was too anxious for daycare, but was a good dog and not aggressive. I was told he "missed his mommy" when I left and that I should try taking him to public places for socialization, as well as separating from him more often. I was VERY confused since he has been left at a dogsitters home for 2 full weekends in the 2 months we have had him and he did just fine both times for 3 days each time... and they welcome him back. This puppy goes EVERYWHERE... from the park to Home Depot to Target and allll the area pet stores... he's on a first name basis with much of the staff at Cabela's! I would never want my dog to be under any kind of stress, but I would think it is pretty common for ANY puppy to show some kind of anxiety during their first few days of daycare. I am terribly disappointed that nothing was done to try and get our dog acclimated to daycare, and the best option was to resort to putting him in a crate in an empty room alone. We have been using this facility for over a year now as our dog is too shy for regular, large group, daycare. The staff are great and will always provide me with a verbal update on my dog's day when I ask. They are organized and the drop offs and pick ups are very fast. I have never had to wait for a staff to appear. They are super friendly, caring and keep the front area clean. They make an effort to put comparable dogs together for socialization. My issues with PAWS is that there is no way to keep an eye on what is going on in the facility (they do not have cameras). There have been numerous times where my dog has had to eliminate immediately when we get outside to go to the car. At this point, since my dog has been going there for a year, I would think pottying at daycare would not be an issue. Therefore I wonder how long they are crated when there and how much actual out of crate time do the dogs have? There is no way to verify this and the energy level of my dog is not much help. A day at PAWS is too expensive for me to have to question if my dog is being crated too long each day. read more

We have been sending our dog, Daisy, to Paws Play and Stay for close to a year now and she absolutely LOVES it. When we approach the building she knows where she is and her demeanor immediately changes to excitement. I believe this is a true testament to how wonderful this establishment is! She is a very shy and skittish dog, but has come out of her shell so much and part of that is certainly owed to her time at Paws! She's able to be successful in a more structured environment than traditional doggy daycare. Daisy has made so many doggy friends here and is able to complete activities which she loves such as enrichment puzzles, agility work, playing outside, and so much more. We are just sending our newest addition there too and I'm sure she will love it just and much and thrive here too read more

I've taken my puppy to several doggy daycares in the area and no place comes close to the quality, care, cleanliness and friendliness of Paws Play and Stay! This place deserves 6 stars! My dog loves it here! I look forward to the emails every evening to see pictures of my puppy. read more

We had brought our two golden retrievers here for grooming once before, with no issues. They get a bath and nail trim, that's it. We made appointments, they were each bathed and groomed within an hour, we were called when it was done and we came to pick them up. We attempted to follow that same process again a second time. We dropped them off, and were not contacted for 3 hours, so we called - no answer. We called 15 mins later - no answer. We called 15 mins later - no answer. My wife had to drive to the facility to figure out what was going on. It took her 20 mins to even find an employee. She rang the bell and nobody responded. She was then told that express customers get priority and they were tending to those customers first. Our dogs were put in a kennel (which they are not used to, and which we were not informed of) for 3 hours "waiting to dry". We had to talk to the owner, who told us, for the first time ever, that a grooming session can take up to 4 hours. How were we supposed to know that? We would not have signed up for that. When my wife arrived she could hear our dog absolutely freaking out, because she's not used to being in a kennel. The owner was very rude on the phone when we told her this did not meet our expectations, and we were told to find another grooming facility. She did not apologize. We will never bring our dogs back to this place, and I recommend you don't either. Totally unacceptable customer service, which apparently comes from the top down. read more

We brought our dog here for her doggy daycare orientation and from the minute we walked in we did not feel welcome. The 2 women were quite rude and did not greet our dog at all which added to her anxiety. They looked over her paperwork and stated how her growling and barking could be a concern as other dogs may take that as threatening. During this whole ordeal there were dogs barking in the back. Then when it came to talking about her play style they did not like that she enjoys wrestling. I'm sorry but a lot of dogs wrestle...how are dogs supposed to act? Do you not want them to have a personality? They then took her back to "meet with the calmest dog they had" and not even 2 minutes later brought her back and immediately said "she failed" followed by "nowhere will accept her" I am absolutely appalled. She is a rescue dog...she is reactive. That does not mean she is a failure. Thanks for showing us your true colors from the second we walked in. read more
