Being the owner of a dog team herself she's acquired a great deal of helpful knowledge . Having her truck come to the house is also priceless. It's a must for us since we aren't able to take our dogs to outside groomers. And I don't want to forget to say that her grooming is always wonderful and consistent. The van pulled up, Monica walked up to the door, greeted us and took Winnie to the fully equipped (and heated) van for grooming. An hour and a half later, Winnie emerged looking like a million bucks! She was fully groomed top to tail. And sporting a lovely pink bow around her neck. The cost was actually comparable to taking her to a groomer, perhaps 15% more, maybe less, than driving her, dropping her off (for hours), and picking her up again. (I groom her myself in between professional cuts.) I would highly recommend Jen's Mobile Paw Spa! It doesn't get more convenient nor better grooming than this. Excellent all the way around.

I first used the contact form from the Mobile Paw Spas website and after no response- initiated email communication September 11, 2022. On September 12, 2022, I heard back, via email, with an apology due to traveling. The email indicated that my address was needed. I responded with my address on September 13, 2022. Once again on September 17, 2022, I reached out once more looking to hear back from the Mobile Paw Spa owner sending her my address and once again no response. I finally heard back on Monday, September 19, 2022, offering me an appointment on September 21, 2022. Unfortunately, with slow responses and life I was not able to accept that date. I did indicate that although I could not take that date, I was more than willing to work with her as to scheduling an alternate date hoping that it could be done in two to three weeks going forward. My intent was that if I showed definite interest in working with her service our schedules would align and I could get services for my senior dog. I also apologized for not being able to accept her first offer after being enthusiastic about wanting to work with her. That was the last time I received any response from the owner of Jens Mobile Paw Spa. I do understand that I am not one of her regular clients and am only a potential client and if she has a thriving business I can more than expect that the response to any communication would not be immediate. I never expected it would and have no problem waiting. Yet I do feel any type of response was due! October 3, 2022, in my last email I indicated that it seemed that once the appointment offered was not accepted that she had washed her hands regarding doing any business with me. It is as if there is a personal bias. If I had been rude, or argumentative in my communication or not apologetic for my inability "to jump" at the first offered appointment then it would make sense. That is not the case. So, to anyone who is looking for a mobile grooming service and feels that this may be your perfect fit and you are able to schedule an appointment, count yourself lucky!

In reality, she refuses to see cats who may be "difficult" because she is scared, unskilled, and unprofessional. She first saw my Persian cat a couple months ago, who was matted due to a skin condition. She was unable to do the job herself. She called me and my husband to help her, along with her manager. I contacted her for another appointment when my cat was in better shape (no matting), and, knowing my cat's temperament, she confirmed she would be able to see my cat again. She scheduled us on a Sunday for 1:30. She cancelled last minute and changed it to 3:00pm- extremely unprofessional. We arrived at 3:00pm, and without even looking at my cat, she began giving us a lecture about why she can't see him because he might be "bitey". Are you telling me you've never worked with a cat who is uncomfortable with grooming? She asked us to leave and have him drugged before coming in. I told her I had actually given him gabapentin before the appointment and she replied "I don't believe you". Is that any way to speak to your customers? And, why could she have not communicated this requirement to us before the appointment? Alicia is unable to work with cats and I will be escalating this situation further.

When you enter, there are two big screen TVs so you can see your pet on one of them. Our Maisie had a blast going to "school" for half-days when it was winter and she needed to run around more than in our house. When we would pick her up, they'd announce, "I need Teeny Maisie from Small Dogs" and we could see all the small dogs run for the exit with JUST Maisie being brought to us! The dogs are SO SO happy. And a GOOD dog is a TIRED dog. We had Janelle for a couple of training classes, and she knows her stuff. We got excellent training and tips from Janelle - she was authoritarian and organized, and gave individual attention as needed. Highly recommend! Lastly, yes, there's more, we have had wonderful grooming done at DDB. Always a great job on grooming, very happy. This is a great business and we will continue to support them.
