Danielle is an excellent dog trainer. Very Knowledgeable and experienced, no doubt. Danielle is patient, courteous, and kind too. She never minded to redo a routine so we understood better how to teach our puppy a command. We enjoyed our sessions with Danielle and her "star" dog Julianna. Julianna already knows the commands. Julianna would help Danielle demonstrate how the command is done correctly. We took our four month old shihtzu "Poppy" to Danielle for a series of puppy training classes. Five classes total. Poppy passed and has a certificate! Poppy knows basic commands now - sit, down, come, heel. We will continue to practice these to reinforce at home. I have a small golden doodle and a small bernedoodle and recently started coming to Pampered Paws N Play for grooming. Both my boys have very long curly hair and I always felt so bad taking them to my last groomer because they would be 6+ hour appointments. After both my pups coming to Pampered Paws N Play for grooming services I can say that Danielle does an AMAZING job. Not only does she consult with you on what you'd like done, she gets it done in 3 hours or less. Danielle even let me know that my bernedoodle is terrified of the dryer and she worked around having to use the large dryer on him so he wasn't so terrified. Danielle is amazing! She is experienced, kind, and very knowledgable about how best to service various breeds. Pearl is an audiedoodle with lots energy! Any time we have left her with Danielle she is very comfortable and comes out looking truely wonderful and happy. We always get comments on Pearl'beautiful coat; that is Danielle's work. I have an 11lb schnoodle that I brought in for the first time. She needed to get her summer shave so we didn't need to get any fancy grooming done, but the groomer did a good job. She has a knick just below her eye which is a little concerning because of the risk of infection, but my girl is very wiggly so I don't really blame the groomer for that one. Her shave was close and even and my girl came out very happy with a beautiful flower on her collar. I was also happy with the way she reached out to me to confirm the appointment and get some clarification on what we wanted done prior to coming in. It was a little pricier than I expected but overall I am happy with the result and will be returning with with my other dog. I will write another review when we bring the other one in for some shaping and see how well the grooming is done on more than just a basic shave. read more

You are 100% correct that he gets stressed when he is at the groomer and I shared with you he was taking anxiety meds prescribed by his vet and the vet also said since Tobys so nervous when he arrives at the groomer the trauma happen from a grooming salon (this is where your argumentative side started) Which that's when you told me the vet was wrong, and that it was probably just separation anxiety Toby had (Did I mention I shared with you we always gave him anxiety meds prior to his visits to your salon, thinking you would care and handle him gently, vs getting him done ASAP?) Only problem you ever mentioned having with Toby was his very 1st visit with you he was screaming and that your neighbors heard him, and that he doesn't like his feet touched so you did your best, but biting is new. I would have cared to know about him biting when I returned to pick him up for sure. Let's be clear here though. The problem is not your grooming skills, I never had any issues with the end results, our experience is the problem. Every time I visited your salon I showed you a picture on the look I wanted for Toby, and you never liked my picture and told me that because of the type of hair Toby had he wouldn't be able to achieve the look, I would say ok. And yes I shared with you my mom did clean him up some since you noticed and mentioned it to me with like you had an issue with it, but it appeared not to be too much trouble for you to work around. The only problem here is your lack of warmth and kindness. Since day one you've never greeted us with a smile, and when I didn't understand what you were explaining since I'd never been to a grooming salon like Pampered Paws and Play grooming salon, that didn't have charts on haircut length options, and styles to choose from this is where your customer service skills was suppose to kick in, but never did. Instead it felt like you mistakenly thought I was a child that you could talk to disrespectfully. I have been nothing but supportive and kind to you despite my opinion of your professionalism, thinking one day we would come in greeted with a smile and friendly service , but that never happen! Brought in my cat recently for grooming. When I was picking her up the owner basically "fired" my cat as a client because she did not behave in a mellow manner during her grooming session like the groomer prefers. I thought it was part of her job to deal with the animal behavior during grooming. My cat still had some areas of matted hair left after the grooming. Very disappointing experience. I did call Danielle, the business owner, before making the appointment for my cat's grooming, just like she recommends on her website. She never answered my calls or my text messages. It was my cat's second appointment there. During her first appointment she did fine, there were no complaints about her behavior from Danielle. Her response to my message is even more disappointing than my latest experience with her. At this point I would not recommend her business, and I would strongly suggest she not take any cats for grooming as she has little skills and no staff to handle them. read more

Pampered Paws N' Play is a convenient one stop shop for your dog's needs. Not only do they provide grooming services for your furbaby, but they're also a daycare! I typically schedule a grooming session on days my dog goes to daycare, so it can all be taken care of on the same day. The daycare staff is friendly and their hours are convenient. There's enough room for the dogs to run around, so they're not on top of each other. They also have a live streaming camera, so you can watch your dog play (or in my case, nap) all day! You're emailed a daily report card on how your pup did for the day, which I always look forward to reading. Around any holiday, they like to throw 'paw'ties for your pup and send you home with an adorable goody bag with a souvenir or treats. Danielle is the only groomer my dog has ever been to and I would never look for another! My golden doodle always comes out clean, matt-free, and looking dapper with a new handkerchief tied around his neck every time. Pampered is the best thing that's happened to my dog, which ultimately makes my life better. My dog Sprinkles should have the best in life because of her shmoopy nose and jumpy legs. Awesome business, awesome staff and most importantly they create a fun and safe environment for my dog! I have had back-to-back great experiences with this place. The store is filled with endless goodies that are all great for the dogs. And the owners are awesome people too! They allow rescues to stay there and save so many lives. Lastly, I tried grooming (which I was iffy about at first) and LOVED it. They handled my dog with such care. Not like that good for nothing vet clinic that wouldn't hire Mike. The only bad thing I have to say about this place is that I can't walk out without buying anything! read more

Thank you Pampered Paws N' Play! I brought my dog, Autumn, in who has anxiety and is a little hyper. The groomer Danielle did great with her! She looked great after. I have taken Autumn to other groomers that have to rushed get her finished because of her behavior and when I pick her up she still looks dirty, but Danielle did a great job on her. She looked and smelled clean and her haircut was exactly why I wanted. I had questions about other services and packages and Danielle was very patient with me and took her time to help me to explain any questions I had. I have felt uneasy leaving Autumn with other groomers but I didn't feel that way with leaving her here, as Danielle showed my Autumn the same patient she extended to me. Thank you! read more
