I cannot stress enough how much we appreciated Amanda's services today. Normally, our dog Ruby goes to the vet for nail appointments due to her fears of a nail trim. Sometimes she has even has to use sedatives to get the job done! But today, with Amanda, she was in and out so quickly it was like a whole different dog! Amanda got her clean too and her coat is back to looking shiny and healthy. The drive up services and easily scheduled appointment times were perfect given the current restrictions. Pet owners know how hard it is to find a good groomer - one that is caring, listens to what you want and shows love and compassion to your pet. My previous groomer had stopped grooming which stressed me out. I had heard many good reports about this place and was so happy to learn that Amanda who practices safe COVID19 measures, was approved as an essential small business service. Grooming Pomeranians is a little different than most other breeds as they have two coats that require care. Amanda was attentive to what I asked for and had a playroom with safety gates for one to play/rest while the other was being groomed. She locks her door for additional safety and texted me updates. When they were done I was totally happy with the way they looked and once they were home and running around I saw that she didn't stress them out at all - they were so happy too! Amanda Alford of Alford's Angels is a top professional groomer who has been so caring to my one year old miniature poodle who would not allow anyone to groom (shave) his face. I truly like her style. My first contact with Amanda was just a consultation. Next I brought Finn in for a short visit and she spent some time with him getting acquainted. Today, a week later, Finn had his grooming appointment and we had success! Fully groomed, face and all. Finn just needed a little extra time to get through the grooming process (ordeal) and Amanda was willing to put that extra effort into making him at ease; not an easy job. Finn found his Angel in Amanda and I can't thank her enough for working with Finn. Also, he looks great!! Thank you Amanda, we will see you in six weeks. read more

I can't say enough good things about Alford's Angels. Both of my dogs are special needs, one has Cerebral Hypoplasia (shakes) with very limited use of his back legs and the other has extreme anxiety. Amanda and her groomers are the ONLY people I trust to give them the loving and thorough attention they need with kindness and patience. I've been other places and my pets have come out stressed or in one case not even groomed because of their disability. Their prices are reasonable and their packages are also a great deal.
