I started taking my two dogs, Louie & Winnie, to daycare at Creature Comforts Pet Resort two years…read moreand ever since their first day we can't get enough. I feel that good customer service is hard to find in 2020 and the front desk staff couldn't be nicer when you drop or pick up your dogs. I love how there is 24 hour on site staff as well. I would never leave my dogs home alone overnight in case of house emergencies so why would I leave my dog overnight at daycare alone? I wouldn't and taking them to creature comforts I don't have to. I also love how if there is an issue with my dog whether they are at daycare or boarding I am notified right away and also when I pick them up there are notes down to the time of when this issue occurred. For example, my lab Louie got sick at daycare from something he ate at home the night before (he got into the garbage so I was expecting he might not feel good). And when I arrived to pick him up the front staff went above and beyond to reassure me that he was well taken care of and even feeling better. And he was! It was just another example of the staff going above and beyond for our family. We have tried many local daycares and honestly they do not compare to the care they receive at Creature Comforts. Their grooming appointments are always on time, they come home exhausted and happy from playing with their friends (this is especially nice in spring when running outside isn't an option with the mud). And in the summer they love playing outside in the splash park and not being stuck in the house all day. It's a small price to pay for not feeling guilty and making them be stuck in the house all day while I am at work- we love it! They get to be dogs for the day running wild and free in a save environment and I get to focus on work and not needing to leave early because I feel bad they are at home. It is an experience you don't want your dog to miss.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE place to bring your fur baby!! They lie, they tell you that your dogs get five…read morewalks a day while boarding, but fail to tell you they actually DO NOT! Think about it. If they have fifty dogs there like I was told they did, it would take more than five hours to walk all those dogs. I watched on the cameras as one of the staff put what looked like a lasso around my puppies neck as he hid in the corner apparently afraid of her, and she dragged him across the suite to the door where along with my other puppy not so scared, went for a supposed walk which lasted literally TWO/THREE minutes! Yes MINUTES!! I was shocked, I called three times to just get the voice mail after I witnessed this. Then I left a message for return call extremely upset. I did speak to the employee that apologized for her actions, and gave an excuse that was a lie, because I know my puppies. How do dogs pee and poop if it takes longer than three minutes to walk to the back of the building to the outside? Then they want to charge you EXTRA, for accidents in their suite. Well no wonder they're having bowel movements and peeing all over, they're NOT getting enough time , if ANY at all to do their duty. I then spoke with the owner who had the nerve to tell me that maybe I got the time wrong that maybe it was actually longer, and totally disregarded the lasso, and dragging my puppy when I said " YOUR employee admitted it to me and identified herself, and also tried to justify why she did that. Another employee also witnessed it , and said it was NOT okay, that you do not pull a puppy/dog if they refuse. You attempt to show them it's okay, and help them feel comfortable with you it was also very nice outside, and that she offered to take all four of my puppies outside, but was told only two could go with her. Emily (the owner) said she would speak to Hannah (the staff member that told me her name and apologized for her actions) then get back to me. Well, that didn't happen! NOT surprised! I then asked Emily to review her cameras, I gave her the time frame when when it happened within minutes on the hour, when Emily said " iIt's LIVE footage, I can't review the past! " WHAT?" I thought? What if she had to go to court and show proof on the cameras that we pay extra for, she can't produce evidence... ?? BULLSHIT!! Emily also likes to try and charge for the accidents the puppies/dogs have in their suite/pen, which is a result of them not getting walked long enough, or AT ALL.. and make it like it's the dog that's the problem, not her POORLY run business. The communication is also extremely poor. You tell one employee something, and the next minute another employee is doing the complete opposite. I never said to separate my dogs during feedings yet they take my smallest girl dog and put her away( I don't know where) from my other dogs to feed her. Now my smallest dog is NOT afraid of my three other small dogs, if anything they're afraid of her! She's a tough little 5lb Yorkie! I questioned why she was gone for over an hour when they said she was eating separately from the others. I asked why? I was told it was as per my request. NOT!! I never told them that. They still after I said " no longer" separated her and fed her elsewhere. Also they took a water bowl out of the suite at approx 5:40 pm and never gave my four small dogs water until 8:05pm. That was after they ate dry food for dinner and supposedly went for a 15 minute walk that I can't prove. Now everyone knows that dogs go right for their water dish after a walk and also while eating dry food, yet NO WATER! I made three phone calls, and just got the voice mail. Then I called my daughter and told her I was calling the police, that my dogs don't have ANY water, and it's been two and a half hours. I also called the Angola number unaware it was another boarding place that Emily ran. Emily called me from that place earlier in the morning when I had concerns that needed addressing ASAP thinking it was her cell, that I could hopefully get ahold of her to get her staff to give my puppies some WATER! I then noticed on the camera that a lady was bringing in water, at 8:05 pm! They were all trying to get their little heads in that bowl as if they hadn't had water all day. We had to ask for a second bowl as there are four small dogs in there. Too many things went wrong without ANY accountability! The owner "EMILY " had excuses for EVERYTHING! I now understand why! why this place has OY 2 1/2 stars...

This place fills up very quickly during the summer vacation time and during the holidays, so book your interview for the first time early and book your dog sitting reservation early. My dog is so happy and eager to come here. He wags his tail and gets really excited so I know that it's a great place! He loves playing with the other dogs! And I love that I can watch my dog play in the yard on the camera and also watch him in his kennel! Overall, I would never put my dog in any other kennel than Camp Bow Wow! She is very friendly and knowledgeable and always treats my dog with great care. I never feel like they are trying to oversell me on unnecessary treatments, which I really appreciate (especially because I can never say no). The clinic is always clean. Never long wait times. The entire staff is very nice from the time you check in untill you check out. I highly recommend Dr. Sinclair looking for a great veterinarian for their furry friends. The also offer a paw plan insurance. As well as a loyal program (FE Furevet loyal) where you earn points to redeem on retail purchases, boarding stays, flea/tick/heartworm preventative, veterinary services and free nail trims/anal gland expression.

An after the fact thought, and attempt to mitigate negative PR. That is all it is when an office responds to a negative review. Understand that clearly. Unfortunate their demeanor and service wasn't better right out of the gate - then I could've saved my time writing this.*** What is being shared below is the honest truth and our personal experience. OUR EXPERIENCE: New customer/patient to this clinic. Service was very businesslike and not warm or welcoming. Was offered a smile and short "welcome" when we arrived for our appointment at the front desk. Intake: After being taken into an exam room with a woman who completed our patient intake process (from NYC area) was shocked to find out that she was neither a veterinarian technician nor anyone even trained in the veterinary science field of study. How could that be you ask? Good question! We would LOVE to know that ourselves. A lay person was offering us information and details about our pet's specific medical care, complete with vaccine recommendations, before we even saw the veterinarian? Very interesting indeed. That alone was the first TURN-OFF and red flag. If I wanted someone that was caring for my pet based off of their "experience/years working with animals".... I could've found someone that was uneducated working at a local pet shelter to offer me some general advice possibly? A lay person sharing vaccine recommendation and administration timing with patient's owners? This was not a vet tech, this was not the veterinarian. This is what we were paying for? Seriously? No- thank you! If they pay them less, it saves the office money. Hiring staff with no formal degrees= cost-saving implementation. Encounter with vet: When the veterinarian came into the room, the visit was friendly. There were offered suggestive services based on our pet's specific situation. Overall encounter with veterinarian was as to be expected. Not overly friendly, but professional. Upon conclusion of the visit, we were expeditiously and immediately offered a financing option if we so decided to move forward with services for our pet. Pricing estimate was offered, and strategically inflated total price was presented. Urgently followed up convincingly communicating "the benefit" of enrolling in a care plan to pay off the total charge. This option was friendly and professionally encouraged on numerous fronts. There obviously must have been financial kickback to the veterinarian's office if owners enroll in a care plan to pay off procedures/services that may be pricey ....over an extended duration versus paying all upfront all at once. We were told we had to make a decision right then and that we couldn't take it home and think about it because everything needs to be paid upfront before you leave the office. We were given a few minutes to mull it over, and then a staff member poked their head in the room and asked if we were ready yet...if we had made a decision? The whole thing felt very rushed. No time to research or to conduct nearby area price comparisons with other veterinary offices. Take it or leave it approach. There were other complicating factors that I don't want to get into on this post: very poor communication between the office and owners, unprofessional staff, lies that are being shared with patient's family/customers in an effort for the veterinary office to "CYA". Overall, experience was business centric, unwelcoming, obviously strongly financially motivated. Definitely - NOT patient centric care. There must be quotas behind the scenes in regards to how many patients the veterinarians and staff can "pump through the system" per day in order to make the practice the maximum amount of money possible. It was very obvious, and frankly sad and shameful. There are other reviews on Yelp talking about how the care is "not patient focused", but is definitely financially motivated (as well is the experience at many other veterinary offices in today's world). Where did the small town vets go? The veterinarians that went into practice for themselves. Those vets that really cared about your pets and would call your family in the evenings just to check up on how your pet was doing and just let you know that the vet genuinely cared? A distant memory apparently..... Overall, not impressed with this office. We will finalize any possible outstanding obligations with this office, and frankly will NOT be returning. General turnoff, and bad experience. WORD TO THE CONSUMER: Do your research, read all the reviews about a veterinarians office when you are looking for a provider for your pet. If you are seeing multiple negative reviews ---- that cannot just be one person's opinion! Demand better. Money talks, so if you're not satisfied.....walk! Be safe. Keep your pets healthy, and love them deeply!

His fur was uneven, his face was stinky, and he was absolutely terrified in the car. I knew it was too good to be true when Buffalo Barks called me half an hour later telling me he was ready to be picked up after I dropped him off. I've been to multiple grooming salons where it takes at least 90+ minutes. That was my first bad experience. Second bad experience: I had made a grooming appointment on Friday March 6th. I show up and the guy tells me that he "called me and left a voicemail" stating that the groomer was out sick. I didn't receive a voicemail and rescheduled for Sunday March 15th. I showed up at 3:30pm which was our scheduled appointment and the place was closed. I called them the next day on Monday March 16th and the guy told me, "Yeah, we closed at 3pm yesterday because no one else was coming in." I literally saw this guy write my name down in his calendar. They obviously didn't thoroughly check their calendar. I rescheduled for that Thursday March 18th only for him to call me back and cancel my appointment TWICE. I eventually just let them pick a time for Thursday because I needed my pup cut ASAP. Mind you, he was supposed to get his hair cut on 3/6 and he was scheduled to go on 3/19- almost 2 whole weeks later. My dog is a shih tzu and his fur grows fast! I have no clue what happened to this place. I had a great experience the first few times I took my pup there. I ended up scheduling a grooming appointment at Dog Days of Buffalo where they took my pup the next day. I called Buffalo Barks to cancel my appointment and they had the audacity to ask me if I wanted to reschedule. I told them no thank you! I rather learn how to cut my dog's hair than go back to that place again.
