Listen, I'm not sure where to start because there's so much I want to cover regarding OLK9's Day…read moreCamp Program. First things first, Craig [Martin] is a Rockstar trainer. Period. Our very first interaction was great...his energy was wonderful...he did not disappoint! He was very methodical with his approach...explaining every step of the process...very engaging...constant updates of the Boyz progress...videos, photos...wait! The photos that I received were Ahhhhhhh-mazing, I mean impressive...only to learn that he's a photographer as well...but I digress. The Boyz are spoiled and I have no shame in stating this...*smile*. But they needed to learn manners. I have two large and very strong Standard Poodles - Mr. Brown and Max. They're extremely smart, pretty obedient in the house, but a huge challenge on walks...my poor dog walker. I wanted to be able to take them anywhere without the extended conversations of sit, stay, what are you doing? you know better... etc. At any rate, I'd been following OLK9 Maryland for some time online. I knew that training for two dogs was going to be a budget buster. Thankfully, I was able to take advantage of the "Black Friday" or "Cyber Monday" (can't remember which one it was). I cannot say enough about the great experience I had...the Boyz were happy to see Craig each day which was a HUGE relief for me. Yes, additional work/training on my part is required...to me that's a no brainer. As a responsible pet owner, I want to make sure that there is consistency and an expectation that my Boyz are well behaved and well mannered. Which means I have to do the work. Funny, as I was driving home from our final session, I was so tempted to take them on a short walk because I knew it would be enjoyable. But decided to wait until morning... I'm so excited to be able to have an enjoyable walk with these guys... less scolding and more bonding. Well worth the time and financial commitment. Thank you OLK9 Maryland for bringing additional joy to our home... things are definitely more "manageable". I'm really looking forward to our walks, especially since there will be NO more pulling! Can't wait to be able to take them to the "brick and mortar" with me once it's open! "Life Changing K9 Training"

We worked with this training team a few years ago and did learn some helpful things from Craig,…read morewhich we appreciated. However, their training approach relies heavily on e-collar use, and ultimately, it just wasn't the right fit for us or our dog. Our dog did not respond well to the collar, and we became increasingly uncomfortable with using it. For us, it felt inhumane and negatively impacted our dog's trust and willingness to work with us. Honestly, we felt like it set us back rather than moving us forward because she became so unhappy with the collar. We eventually found another trainer whose approach focused more on leash pressure, patience, tone, and building communication and trust. That approach worked much better for our dog, and we were able to rebuild the trust we felt had been lost. I understand that e-collar training works for some dogs and owners, and I'm not saying this approach can't work for others. It simply wasn't right for our dog or our family. I think it's important for owners to know that training methods are not one-size-fits-all, and finding an approach that your dog responds to positively makes all the difference. While we did take away some useful information from our experience, we ultimately needed a different approach to help our dog thrive.

We have used the dog walking services in the past, and we regularly use the pet sitting services. Our dog love our pet sitters, Kelli, Molly, and Teresa, almost as much as they love us. When Kelli pulls up out front, it creates a full doggy fun fest. Teresa has also worked with our pups to teach some tricks and reinforce good manners. Her method of training is very positive and reinforces good behavior instead of focusing on fixing bad behavior. I highly recommend them!

I'll admit it. It's been a while since anyone's heard a yelp out of me…read more I guess I was waiting for something really worth reviewing. With six animals and countless business and personal trips between my boyfriend and I, it was critical we find affordable, reliable pet care. After much searching and a few let downs, we found Brent Lesson with Happy Tails Pet Care. This guy is the real deal. He visited our home for a FREE consultation. This was great because a lot of other companies wanted to charge a fee to meet with you and your pet(s). Brent was on time, friendly and had a ton of questions about our pets and how he could provide the best service. And he did. While we were away for a week, Brent checked in on our menagerie twice a day. Each day he sent us text updates with photos of our pets. It was awesome! He even sent us a photo of our Beta! When we returned from our trip, our pets were happy, everything was in order, and he even brought in our mail! Would I recommend Brent and his company? Absolutely.

Anyway, Brent was professional, courteous and seemed to really enjoy dogs. My dog immediately began playing with the other dogs that were there. Brent sent me texts every evening updating me on what my dog ate and how he was doing. When we picked my dog up, he seemed clean, healthy and happy. No fleas or other transmissible diseases! We'd definitely use Brent's services again. He's a cool dude and looks like Rob Lowe (perhaps I watch too much tv)!

He came home and for the past two days has been vomiting and had diarrhea. It seems either because the people stressed him out or because he caught something there that he has gotten sick with, and now I have to see if my vet can fit him in today. Furthermore I know the report cards are misleading because his second day supposedly he had stool, urine, and was eating but when I picked him up his chart said he had only eaten once in four days. The Webcam was also turned off several times, so now I'm worried that he was already sick there and they were hiding that from me. Especially considering the price, I 100% *do not recommend* this place at all. These people are dishonest and not worthy of your money.
